Overall a great experience. Picked up take out and tried the chicken, fried rice, plantains, several empanadas and both desserts (tres leches and flan). Although we didn't care for the fried rice or plantains everything else was delicious! Especially the empanadas and desserts. There are several other sides that reviewers have mentioned are great- so we'll pick those up next time. The price point was also excellent! We had so much food for a super reasonable price. Frisco's Chicken for the win. My mom and I got take out and have enough food for multiple meals. Delicious - all of it! - 1/2 chicken, brussels sprouts, fried rice (can't place the different flavor of it, but yummy!), lomo saltado bowl (oh the sauce!), chicken empanada and the (oh so rich & creamy) tres leches cake! The sauces are also quite tasty. If you haven't gone, you need to get there. A lot of good food for a reasonable price and they are so friendly and organized! read more

Stopped here for a late lunch. It was the first visit for the 2 of us. We each got a half chicken meal and probably could/should have shared 1. My husband isn't a fan of chicken with bones, but he just kept saying how delicious it was. Even their sides are amazing. He especially loved their hot sauce. I was partial to the cilantro. The fried rice and black beans were so good we went back in to order additional sides to take home for lunches the rest of the week. They told us they are opening more locations! My children picked their bones clean and for the four of us, we ordered the whole chicken and two sides [mac and cheese and chicken fried rice] and no soda. I visited your restaurant a few weeks ago. The food was exceptional. And the service was great. But what surpassed them both was what happened after I left...I left my purse behind. When I realized I couldn't find it, I looked everywhere but never once thought about your restaurant. A few days later I had given up that I must've lost it for good, until my daughter called me on a night that I was not at home and said someone had knocked on our door and asked if someone by name lived here. When she said yes, he said he had found my purse and couldn't find a phone number to call so he used the address on my license and drove 40 minutes to drop it off. Everything was intact and still there. To say I was relieved was an understatement! And how gracious and kind of you to take the time to do this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I've gotten food at Frisco's several times and the quality has been very good - until now. While the staff is as friendly as always, the quality of the chicken as gone from very good to less than mediocre. A half a chicken was mostly bones, with very little meat. I'm very disappointed to see this food vendor in such a state of decline. read more

We ordered the bowl with chicken and boy was it good! We all were amazed at the portion size-enough for two meals! Everything was so flavorful-chicken, rice, beans, plantains, and the cilantro sauce!Next time I will try the other sauces, but I will say that cilantro sauce is delicious! This restaurant has great decor with the owners story integrated into the wall art. The chicken has great flavor . We had the cilantro sauce - you can't go wrong using this ! The Brussel sprouts were charred perfectly . They were so delicious . Overall the food was excellent. I tried the special Peruvian juice , it was refreshing and tasted great (fruity with a bit of mulled spice). I always love to try specialty items from other cuisines . The only reason this is not five stars is upon entering it wasn't obvious to use the screens to enter your order. The French fries were delicious but could have been a little hotter in temperature. We were at the science museum and walked over for lunch - super convenient. Food was delicious , we had the family meal with a whole chicken, Mac, fried rice, and added another side of Brussels sprouts. The sauces were on point too. We tried all three. Sad but true I went there my first time nobody in line I started to order my food I was joined with my family and while ordering maybe 35 second into my order a man walk in the store walks around me cut my conversation with the cashier she completely ignored me like I wasn't even there left me hanging with the words in my mouth. First off, the smell of chicken fills the air and will just draw you in. Once your in, you may be overwhelmed by the menu and want to try everything. That's basically what happened with my boyfriend and I. We were visiting Lancaster for the weekend and stumbled upon this place with no regrets. I highly recommend the lomo bowl. The steak just falls apart in your mouth and is so tender. The dish is also so flavorful with and without the sauce. I also recommend the pollo bowl and chicken empanada. Everything we tried was amazing and the customer service was enthusiastic and radiating with good energy. I will definitely return next time I'm in the area. The story of origin on the wall caught my eye and attention for the short duration I was there for takeout. Soon my name was called. The half-chicken meal with my personal choice of sides (double order of Brussels sprouts) and 2 types of sauce was absolutely delicious! My husband and I are both raving.
