after a long day of floating me and 5 of my friends wanted to come in and get a quick bite to eat before our 2 hour drive home. we sat down and service was immediately terrible. our server was short, didn't tell us her name and incompetent. i asked for a burger cooked medium & got a well done, dry burger. a manager did rounds checking on tables and came to my table and asked if we needed anything. i asked for 2 sauces and she said she'd send my server over as if i wasn't asking her because my server had not even checked on us the past 10 minutes that we had our food & i also got only one of my two sauces after they were finally brought to the table. we also waited an hour for food while tables around us sat, ate, and paid before we got our checks. there were multiple other problems with my friends and their food as well. all around a terrible experience and will not be back. read more

I've been to Frisco's a few times and have never been disappointed! The food is always amazing and the servers are kind and very efficient. Favorite appetizer is by far the spinach & artichoke dip with their homemade chips. I don't know how they make the chips but a lifetime supply of them wouldn't be enough! They're light and crispy, not at all a "normal" tortilla chip, and dusted with a little Parmesan. The dip has huge chunks of artichoke throughout, not just a few. And there's a lot of it! Tonight I took my mother there for her first time, I decided to splurge a little and go for the rib eye steak, medium rare, with a side of pasta. The steak was cooked perfectly and literally one of the best steaks I have ever had. The seasoning wasn't overwhelming, I could still taste the natural beef flavor. Usually I have to have a little steak sauce on the side to add moisture but the steak was juicy and so perfectly seasoned, I didn't even think about sauce. The pasta and meat sauce was great, as always. Mom's pasta con broccoli was also really great, and a huge portion. She brought half of it home but didn't leave hungry. Overall, one of my favorite places to eat. The food is worth the money and it's a great family atmosphere. Will continue going as much as possible! read more

Good Morning. I'm a big fan of Frisco's. My wife and Jimmy went to school together, and Frisco's has improved since Jimmy and his partner took over we are both big supporters of them and the restaurant the food is typically A+++. However one hiccup from last night. I ordered a make your own burger with a chicken patty with the addition of Ghost Pepper. My son ordered a half pound burger. I think the cook might have used the same spatula to flip my chicken and his burger or another idea is that they were cooking too close together. My chicken sandwich was great. My sons burger was a tad on the spicy side. Not Ghost Pepper Hot but hot enough. Maybe leave more room on the grill between things or have the chef have separate cooking utensils. This was my second time here and I wont be back! I ordered the soup and salad combo. The caesar salad was pretty good however my soup lacked flavor! Unsalted broth with not a whole lot to offer! My mom ordered the spinach salad! The egg on this salad was grey and overcooked, there were brown pieces of spinach, for the half portion and over $5 the salad was a complete and utter disappointment. A sad dreary salad! She returned the salad and along with that came the managers apologies and explanation that it's a new cook. They remade the salad, this one was a little better but still disappointing and still made with grey eggs! I ordered the kids Mac & Cheese for my kids to split and the server asked me what I would like for the side, peaches would be fine. After receiving the bill, we noticed we were charged for the mac n cheese and the peaches were a $2 add on making this kids meal close to $7! WHAT??? Waiters mistake so instead of taking the peaches off the bill, the manager informed us that the waiter would be personally paying for these peaches. The sad sad tiny little bowl of over priced peaches...anyway... The manager after stating "we just want you to be happy" handed 10 suckers to my 4 year old. Oh yes! First let me star off with Cuba is a very small town...so it the best in town is not saying a lot! As you will notice your going to read a lot about wings...Not a lot about the other food though.. I had a chicken breast with mushrooms and a white wine sauce the first time...it was good..The second time I had it it was awful..and I mean awful....The place is quite loud...I believe overpriced...Most likely won't go back..we live in Crawford county for at least 10 years...we have been there twice, what does that tell you...to me it's more of a bar. We arrived in Cuba late on a Thursday night and we were starved. We asked the lady at the motel what she recommended and she told us Friscos. The place is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. Since we had been eating Diner food on Route 66 for days we chose to get steaks. They were perfectly cooked, juicy and delicious. At first I thought it was just because I was hungry but it wasn't just that. Everything from the salad to dessert was tasty. We had a, believe it or not, sweet potato cheesecake and it was sooo good. The waitress, Alyssa, was probably the best waitress we came across on our trip. She helped us make up out mind about going to Maramec Caverns. She even got on a laptop they had at work to check the hours and when she saw they had printable coupons to save us she printed them off for us. In talking to her we found out that the owner loves to create his own dishes and that this was his goal in life to have his own restaurant. He has succeeded in having a great place. If we are ever in Cuba again there is no doubt where to eat! read more

Great service, ordered the frisco wings and fries. Typical Buffalo wings. Our waitress, although dealing with a table of 10 was very kind and prompt. Should have ordered the Frisco Melt duh! It was spicy. Although others did and were a tad disappointed. Homemade pickles were more cucumber than pickle. "A" for effort. Would definitely eat there again. read more

I was staying overnight in Cuba and Frisco's was recommended to me. The servers were all friendly. I was alone and felt at ease in a place I had never been about 400 miles from home. I was seated and had my drink order taken right away. My dinner came out promptly after I ordered it. The food was tasty. Comfort food. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Relaxed and friendly. I was engaged in conversation and made to feel welcome. I would/will definetly visit Frisco's again next time going down Rte 66 through Cuba, Mo.. read more

**** Shame on Frisco's Grill and Pub! **** We came in Friday night for a special occasion dinner and sat in Amber's Section, we had a great meal and left happy, but apparently they not only ran our card for our meal, they also ran it for another ticket and never notified us. So now the money is out of my account, when I contacted Frisco's to complain, Ben told me to call my bank to dispute the charge and there's nothing else he could do. So Frisco's messes up and it's my job to fix it? Did they offer me a dinner or drink for the error? No, according to Ben there's nothing they can do. So now on the holiday weekend, I can't afford to do anything because they ran m card and then they also ran for another table that was almost double my bill. This is disgusting and sad. I attempted to contact my bank to fix it but they aren't open, so thanks Frisco's, there went my weekend plans. I am glad you guys got your money for my bill but aren't concerned about doing anything to right the wrong or notify me that you double charged my card. Even if it was a voided transaction, I should have been notified and you all should be bending over backwards to fix your error. This is unfortunately the last time I come in, I will be contacting the BBB, and I will tell anyone I know to never come in so they aren't put in this position.
