    Salmon with crab and shrimp

Lamp chops , heard were amazing and they were. Cooked to perfection. Spinach and asparagus were just ok, had a grainy texture. Salmon with shrimp and crab very good as well. Ps spouse said mashed potatoes were very good. Alice was a great server. The restaurant is nicely laid out with a bar area and table service. Will return

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant on Kent Island and I've been to every single one of them and there are several that are trying to be too fancy and they're not and there are several that are just little places to get a crabcake or something like that and that's fine if that's what you want, but if you want really, really good food at a fair price with good service you go to Frix's

Food was delicious and the restaurant was very nice. Had a great lunch my best friend. Will return

Deliciousness !!! Lamb chops, spinach & asparagus:)

This is the best restaurant from bay bridge to ocean city md. The food is consistently excellent. I always get the same thing, lamb chops, spinach & asparagus. Delicious every time.

The gumbo, French dip, mac and cheese, and crab dip (not pictured) were 10/10, absolutely delicious and worth getting. The grilled pound cake being grilled was so unique and delicious, the pineapple tasted canned, but all in all it was decent. We didn't realize how close to closing time they were when we came in and only realized when we left - I point this out because the servers seemed to rush, be annoyed, and weren't calm/cool/collected, but I get it. I would be that way too if someone came in late. The interior design was simple, lots of brown and blacks, but an ADORABLE bunny greets you on the right when you enter.

I was visiting the area and looking for a casual dinner spot. We made a reservation as it was Saturday, but it was not crowded at all. They have a spacious seating area with tables as well as seating at the bar. They had a live guitarist playing which was nice and added to the ambiance. The food portions were pretty amazing based on the price paid. I had the sirloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak had a great grill flavor, but was lacking in seasoning. Aside from that, it was cooked perfectly. I had a martini drink with tequila. That was very strong! Just a heads up :) service was great! We would come back again.

The ribeye steak was terrible. Small tough cut of horrible beef. The grilled sirloin steak from Golden Corral is superior to the ribeye here. The hand cut French fries morphed into a limp soggy ball of oil covered potato. The macaroni and cheese was bland. The Sweet Islander cocktail lacked any alcohol taste. For a $55 dinner, you gotta do much better. Spend your money elsewhere folks.

Great steaks and great service. The sautéed spinach was delicious and the filet and the ribeye were tender and tasty.

Beware. They almost doubled some of their drink prices recently - and we didn't find out til the bill came. Very disappointing.

What a delicious combo. Chile Relleno was just so, so. Wouldn't order again. Very strong almost too much, mole. Parrilla chile combo. Lots of food. Ribs were dry and so, so. Sausage was worth a pass. Shrimp, chicken and steak with all their fixings were very good. Bummed a $30. Large platter, I was charged extra for more flour tortillas. Overall will return. Free chips & salsa may be a gimmicky thing, but when they are good, they can really hook you. In spite of ruining my appetite with too many chips, I loved the variety on their menu. They have standard mexican fair but also have some very unique dishes and fresh takes. I can recommend the Michelin tacos, especially if you are looking for a variety. Service was quick and friendly. I resisted the urge to get more chips & salsa when offered (multiple times), but I wouldn't fault you if you opt for seconds. The restaurant itself is clean and is decorated in a fun manner for guests to play some eye spy or for kids to enjoy. There are also plenty of TVs to catch whatever games might be on. Enjoy!

Our server, Fernando, set us up with separate checks. Several of us enjoyed margaritas. Everyone thought the food was amazing. I had the Ensalada Sin Fronteras with chicken. June 2025 Sin…read moreFronteras Café We came to Sin Fronteras Café for dinner and met up with some friends--this was my wife's and my first visit, though our friends had been here before and spoke highly of it. We started with chips and salsa, and they were excellent. The salsa wasn't overly spicy, just full of great flavor, and the chips were fresh and crisp--definitely a strong start to the meal. My wife ordered the chicken chimichanga. It was quite different from what we usually get at the Mexican spots we frequent--it was one large chimichanga served with a small salad, whereas we're used to getting two smaller ones with rice and beans, which we usually share. Still, it was tasty and satisfying in its own unique way. I ordered the Chicharrón en Salsa Verde--crispy pork and onions in a green tomato sauce, topped with cilantro and served with rice and warm flour tortillas. It had great flavor and the pork had a nice texture--crisp but not dry. Our friends ordered a variety of dishes, including: Chile en Nogada - a stuffed poblano pepper with seasoned ground beef, covered in a chilled almond and walnut nogada sauce, topped with pomegranate seeds and served with rice. It was rich, colorful, and very flavorful. A beautiful dish with red and yellow sauces and a white cream swirl--unfortunately I can't recall the name, but it was as good as it looked. Six tacos with assorted meats--each one was fantastic. The flavors were bold and fresh. To drink, most of us had margaritas, and you could tell they use fresh ingredients--these were excellent and not overly sweet like some places serve them. Service was top-notch from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The only disappointing part of the evening came at the end, when we learned that the restaurant will be closing in about a month. The building is being torn down, possibly for high-rise condos. The staff doesn't know if or where they'll reopen. It's a real shame, especially in an area that's already struggling with traffic and congestion. More homes, fewer gems like this. I just wish we had discovered Sin Fronteras Café sooner. Hopefully they find a new home nearby, and we'll definitely try to come back before they close for good.
