Lamb chops

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant on Kent Island and I've been to every single one of them and there are several that are trying to be too fancy and they're not and there are several that are just little places to get a crabcake or something like that and that's fine if that's what you want, but if you want really, really good food at a fair price with good service you go to Frix's

Grilled steak mashed potatoes and asparagus

Food was delicious and the restaurant was very nice. Had a great lunch my best friend. Will return

Deliciousness !!! Lamb chops, spinach & asparagus:)

This is the best restaurant from bay bridge to ocean city md. The food is consistently excellent. I always get the same thing, lamb chops, spinach & asparagus. Delicious every time.

The ribeye steak was terrible. Small tough cut of horrible beef. The grilled sirloin steak from Golden Corral is superior to the ribeye here. The hand cut French fries morphed into a limp soggy ball of oil covered potato. The macaroni and cheese was bland. The Sweet Islander cocktail lacked any alcohol taste. For a $55 dinner, you gotta do much better. Spend your money elsewhere folks.

Mac and cheese

The gumbo, French dip, mac and cheese, and crab dip (not pictured) were 10/10, absolutely delicious and worth getting. The grilled pound cake being grilled was so unique and delicious, the pineapple tasted canned, but all in all it was decent. We didn't realize how close to closing time they were when we came in and only realized when we left - I point this out because the servers seemed to rush, be annoyed, and weren't calm/cool/collected, but I get it. I would be that way too if someone came in late. The interior design was simple, lots of brown and blacks, but an ADORABLE bunny greets you on the right when you enter.

Ribeye, mushrooms and broccoli

I was visiting the area and looking for a casual dinner spot. We made a reservation as it was Saturday, but it was not crowded at all. They have a spacious seating area with tables as well as seating at the bar. They had a live guitarist playing which was nice and added to the ambiance. The food portions were pretty amazing based on the price paid. I had the sirloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak had a great grill flavor, but was lacking in seasoning. Aside from that, it was cooked perfectly. I had a martini drink with tequila. That was very strong! Just a heads up :) service was great! We would come back again.

Mahi Mahi, fried banana, mango cashew slaw

Heading to the eastern shore, as I've done for years, but found this amazing place on Yelp. You know it's going to be good when the parking lot is full of locals on a Wed. night. Just 1 exit past all the fast food places after you cross the bridge, yet still right off the highway. Real brazillian food, attentive staff, and a cozy environment. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity. They have a menu of small plates and a mix and match grill protein + sides. Ihad the grilled Mahi Mahi, with mango cashew slaw and fried bananas Nuff said, try it, you won't be sorry.

The best lamb chops and veggies around

I stop at this restaurant every time I am in the area. Always have same meal. Lamb chops, asparagus and spinach. They nail it every time. Generous portions and friendly service.

Delicious plate of food. Lamb chops, spinach and asparagus:)

I have been to this establishment every week for over 5 years. I loved bringing my 3 young children, husband and friends here. However, today I came here with my elderly, injured mother and my young daughter. A young Brazilian cashier with dark, curly hair spoke so disrespectfully to my mother! When I asked her to show some respect to elders (and injured elders at that), she refused to serve us and take our money. What kind of cashier speaks ill to their customers and refuses to take their money!? I feel really badly for the owner of Brazilian Bakery, because he hired a cashier who refuses to sell to his customer. She literally turned our $30 away. And only because I asked her to show some respect to my elderly mother. I was flabbergasted! I asked what is the problem? She said, "The only problem here is your annoying, stupid mother." Inside I wanted to punch her in the face, but because I have class and was raised better, I told her that she is what she called my mother! I promised her that I will inform her manager and other patrons about her awful customer service and disrespect. If you are Brazilian and crave Brazilian food, go to "By Brazil" or the cafe around the corner (Americas). Not only is the food there spectacular, their staff is so respectful and warm, and they never refuse to take your money! Be advised my fellow Brazilian neighbors!

There was a self-serve area for customers to get rice, beans, and other items. Behind the counter, there was a display with pastries and another with empanadas. I ordered one chicken and a ham and cheese. I also ordered two churros. Once I saw how cheap they were, I asked to add two more. I was accidentally charged for two more empanadas. I told the lady behind the register what happened and she denied that I was charged incorrectly and I had to explain a couple of times before someone else told her exactly what I already told her and she finally fixed it. Overall, I don't think I would go back to this particular location. The empanadas were good but the churros were cold and the customer service wasn't great.

CANA Overall…read moreRating:(5/5 Stars) Maybe I don't actually need that flight to Brazil because this restaurant transported me there without the hassle of TSA. When every dish lands and the vibes are just right, it's no surprise the seats stay full. Food: Aperitivos: * Dadinhos de Tapioca $18: Cheesy, light, and incredibly satisfying. The guava sauce was nice, but honestly, these stood perfectly well on their own. * Torresmo $18: Easily one of the top three pork belly dishes of my food critic career. Crispy, rich, and unforgettable. Pratos: * Peixe Cru $23: Fresh, vibrant, and beautifully composed. This dish set the tone for what turned out to be an excellent meal. * Frango à Passarinho $23: A playful elevation of fried chicken. The touch of honey added just enough sweetness without making it overly sticky. Churrasco: * Picanha Black Angus $41: Melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The farofa added just the right amount of texture to complement a beautifully cooked steak. Service: The chef's counter seats give you a front-row view of the kitchen in action. The chefs engaged with us throughout the meal, our server shared insights about Brazilian culture and cuisine, and a few surprise shots didn't hurt either. The hospitality felt genuine and thoughtful, the kind that makes you want to come back and bring friends. Disclaimer: These are my personal opinions. Cana is truly a great place to celebrate, they really know how to make you feel special!

Let me tell you up front, their humongous burger feeds 2. It it delicious, with sauce, cheese, lettuce, tomato and a side of of crispy parmesan polenta fries. You dip them in this fiery hot sauce, and let them take you places. So great burger but too big for one, and the drumsticks had a great spice going as well. Our happy hour drinks were passionate caipirinha that was a lovely blend, not too sweet, but like so many drinks, it comes with too much ice so it's a lot less drink than it looks. Still, good eating, good price, good service, just order less, cause yiu can always order more later.
