After seeing how well the renovations were going, I kept adding additional things to be done including a large beautiful built in for my den which has become the favorite room in the house. Everything was completely finished in 4 weeks. The crew showed up everyday on time. They were respectful, clean and helped out with extra things where needed. I have dealt with tons of construction companies and never had this exceptional experience. After working with Paul, I now consider him and First Impressions part of my family. Four months later and their "plumber" has every excuse in the book for not showing up. Canceled several appointments with very laughable excuses. Showed up 2 times with a wrench and screwdriver only, no tubing or connectors to finish the job. I was warned and did not listen. Be very careful, Paul is very good when the project is being done and the money is flowing. After support warranty, no such thing from them. First Impressions finally resolved the outstanding problem to everyone's satisfaction. The project is now complete and well done. Now I can recommend their services.

After 20 years, the tile I laid down was cracking and looked dated. I told my wife, find a contractor with a store front. Those pennysaver contractors are fly by night. She found All State and we had a nice young man come by after work. I explained what I wanted done. I want my new tiles installed and my front porch needed some TLC. He gave us a price and the most important thing I asked, how long will the job take? I was told a week tops. Handshakes happen and away we go. The first crew comes and I could tell they're off. They worked the first night very late doing demolition and just left. No goodbye. Splitsville. Then, they started to do the deck and left a piece of rotted wood underneath the trex?! I grabbed the guy and said what the hell? He gave excuses and then said the extra wood wasn't on the order. I said, I don't care. Make it right. Now the guy has attitude. The next day, he said his partner was sick. The next day, they're stuck in Hamptons, be there at 7. No shows that day. Then, they just showed up before I got home. I don't need to be the heavy at this point, Mrs S said you're fired. Don't come back. The manager calls the next day, apologizing up and down. He sent a new crew, sent over a chocolate basket and these guys did a great job with the tile work. The deck the first crew did? Was a mess. They put a rock on the bottom of the trex as the base and didn't add the extra wood as I requested. Now the manager is calling us back, we'll be there soon, I need the materials, I need the guys to free up their schedule, etc.. more importantly they left the demo container on my driveway for weeks. Weeks....... The guys came, ripped out the bad job the first crew did and then made it all correct. The second crew did an amazing job. Here's the part that sucks. Would I recommend this company? A week turned into over a month. I can't take the double talk BS. Two stars and I'm being nice.

Their staff has been there for years and the business is very reliable.
