I stopped into West Herr Auto Glass in Williamsville and I was absolutely blown away by my experience. I was greeted by Julia who ran point as my service advisor. She explained every step of the process to me so that I understood what was going on. She even recommended a decent place to get breakfast while I waited. Becky handled getting the fix transferred to West Herr Auto Glass from the national chain and managed that whole process with my auto insurer herself. Brian explained the issue with the windshield wiper that was encountered. And I have to mention that Julia, Becky, and Brian were understanding, excellent communicators, very friendly and personable, and frankly blew me away with their professionalism, understanding and execution of the business and how they handled me as a customer. Needless to say, Julia, Becky, and Brian made a lifelong car West Herr Auto Glass customer out of me that day. They got me back on the road to work as a part time rideshare driver and more importantly, they enabled me to get home to see my family to celebrate Christmas together 2 hours away; a drive that would have been extremely difficult to do with a blown out rear window. We took our SUV for a estimate . Insurance company sent us there seeing that is their choice. They…read morework with them . we had a very brief inspection and pictures which led to a &4,500 estimate. They missed several areas of repair . Things I saw that needed to be repaired but ignored. All in All we certainly did not have them fix our car. The total with the shop that did do our work totaled almost 13,000. This is a significant difference between 2 shops . Hopefully I never have to go through this again but in the event I will never choose car start.

I was able to drop it off and get a rental from Enterprise, easily located 2 doors down. The whole thing was easy and fluid. The car was ready when they said it would be and looks great. I wasn't aware, but they also vacuumed the car, so frankly it looks far better than when I brought it in. I'd certainly come here again. People were pleasant, car was ready as scheduled and they vacuum the car. I believe this is a small local chain, but I'm not sure. Either way, 5 stars.

Marty and Shane came out to do the repair while we were in Amherst and discovered the wrong side had been sent. The return was made while a new piece was sent out. They then came to the Rochester area to do the replacement. Couldn't have asked for a better job. They were very thorough, clean and efficient. They take pride in their work and the end result shows. It took about an hour and while one might wonder what made service so good.... I had one replacement that left me with a piece of glass on my dash that had my inspection sticker etc on . I drove around with this for a year until next. inspection. Marty removed said stickers and applied them to my new windshield. This felt huge to me. I will definitely use them again and referred people already .
