Something about the hot fudge and custard not being too old really keeps things from freezing. Add the marshmallow cream is a real blend of the regular banana split and the turtle. Service was great, good reccomendations from the staff and friendly locals waiting for their orders. Prices are affordable, portions are large. I can only imagine how popular this place is in the summer, I came during a cold front, a light freeze, a cold snap as you will. Although I walked here I could see the need for more outdoor seating despite seeing mostly car traffic there are neighborhoods and a school nearby.
