Service was so friendly, the girl had such a nice personality and pretty smile. Very welcoming. It's pretty cute inside, but looks pretty standard for a frozen treat shop. It was a touch busy when we were there but she did not rush us or anything. I asked what her fave was since I was indecisive. She said the lotus biscuit flavor. Definitely a great choice. It was creamy and sweet without being too sweet. Obviously you have to like the lotus cookie flavor and she asked if I wanted a cookie on top and obvi, bc my sweet tooth is everything. Biggest couldn't decide and just got the cookies and cream and she gave her a cookie on top of hers. The baby got the mint chocolate chip and got an Andes mint on top. She gave me a taste of hers but I wasn't really a fan. To be fair, I don't really like mint and chocolate together that much. Price range is about the same as Coldstone. Next time I'm in the area, I'll be back, ready to treat myself, and maybe I'll get a bigger size next time. read more

This was my first time here. It was pretty busy, but the line moved rather quickly. The young lady who helped us was pleasant and did not make us feel rushed looking and even taste testing different flavors. I opted for the Peach and strawberry flavors. My favorite of the 2 was definitely the Peach. My son chose peanut butter crunch, I did have a taste of his also pretty good if you like peanut butter. I definitely would come back. read more

We went here because a co-worker from our other office recommended it, saying that it was pretty close to the gelato that he had in Italy. But little did he know, that we already have a location in Albuquerque. The line was long, but it went fast. Either the prices went up or this location charges more... even with a variety of flavors and after trying several flavors, I feel like I wasn't overly excited to try anything. This place was a lifesaver in the crazy AZ heatwave! I loved the coloring of this place and there was a ton of flavors to choose from. There are a lot of seating options that still keep you semi-away from the long line that's always formed. Staff is also very friendly about letting you try a bunch of flavors before you make your decision. While the gelato wasn't the best gelato I've ever had, it was still pretty good depending on what flavor you got. Luckily, there are a bunch to choose from so everyone will be able to find a flavor they enjoy. I ended up getting a scoop of the Raspberry Sorbet because I loved how tart it tasted and how smooth the texture was. I was surprised that it didn't melt faster as I was walking outside in the sun. I'd come back if I was in the area, but I also wouldn't mind checking out some other dessert places since I'm not a local. read more

Not only is the staff accommodating, but they're friendly and seem genuinely happy to be there serving up delicious Gelato they let my son indulge in a couple samples and it was just so sweet. I have been coming here every week since they opened in 2013. I have never had any issues with the service here. Unfortunately, the corporate store is purposely trying to sabotage their business. They have been withholding flavors that they always had until the last 10 months, specifically dark chocolate. And periodically pistachio. I could literally drive or call right the paradise Valley and the Kiereland locations and they would have those flavors. Corporate if you read this, please always provide those flavors to the Biltmore Location. They're good people, and they should not have their business go under because you do not want to provide All of the original flavors. Stop making excuses as to why you do send them the ingredients they need to make those flavors. read more

I have been a customer of Frost for years. While the quality of the product remains fantastic, the level of customer service has definitely declined. I continue to return due to my love of the gelato. I wish that the customer service experience could be that of days past. The friendliness is decreased, the interactions from the evening staff are not as friendly, and the overall evening time experience is lacking. I would rate the product 5 stars, which it is. But overall, the experience is a 3 for me. Do better Frost, your customers are feeling it. read more

After having an early dinner next door at Zinburger we had desert at Frost. The staff is very nice. They will allow you to sample what ever flavor your in the mood for. The gelato is made without raw eggs or butter and less than 1% cream. My wife had a small Gianduia (Chocolate with Hazelnut) . I had a medium Stracciatella and Espresso. Portions are very generous. I tried the Alpencaramel, not sure what that is but it was pretty good. But, I stuck to my dark chocolate gelato and it didn't disappoint. So so good. You get a lot of gelato for the small size, I was satisfied. My date got the salted caramel and loved it, and he usually goes for the simpler ones like vanilla or strawberry. And I can understand the cost of employees, so why not leave a spray bottle and some wipes handy for the customers to clean up a spill. My first visit here was great and I loved the tangy strawberry yogurt so I got this flavor again; however their recipes are inconsistent and this batch had way too much strawberry jam that was so sweet I could not even tell it was strawberry, and I found this to be inedible. The previous tangy yogurt was missing since most of the dish was red sugary syrup. Gone were the pieces of fresh strawberry I had in my first visit. If you like eating jam straight up with a dash of milk perhaps this might suit you. Be sure and try any flavors first even if you have had them before. I will not venture back here as there are too many other frozen treat options around. On the plus side the staff are great. read more
