Frost Gelato How can you not love Gelato in the summer of Arizona in August. This place offers excellent service, allows you to sample as many flavors until guilt sets in. The many flavors are of true ecstasy, made in store, fresh, select cup or cone. Fun for all ages, small or big, happy or grumpy, if you don't leave happy, crawl back under your rock. I chose Mint Chocolate Chip, but could have gone with many other flavors, which means one thing. Just have to go back another day.

I had a really great experience here with a friend after a yoga event. It was a little busy with the yoga event ending, and everyone getting ice cream, but there was still lots of places to sit outside and we didn't have to wait too long to order. It was dark and cooling off when we sat outside, so not too uncomfortable in the PHX summer heat. The inside is modern looking with bright blue menu boards and blue accents throughout the shop. They offer to go containers of ice cream and cakes too! Frost Gelato offers many choices for flavors, so it was hard to choose one. The people working were nice and let us sample a couple. I ended up picking the Bagigi Peanut which had caramel, chocolate and nuts all mixed together. It was also voted "Best Gelato in America". I ordered a small size and it was very satisfying. The gelato was also delicious, I would recommend that flavor to people if they like those types of flavors. I look forward to coming back here!

Frost Gelato just opened its fourth location in the Greater Phoenix area last week in the former Paradise Valley Mall area as a part of the new redevelopment plan. My wife and I had dinner in the area last night and enjoyed dessert at Frost Gelato to try out the new location. The staff seemed genuinely happy to be there and that they had just opened. We tried a few samples including the one that reminded us of Biscoff cookies. I got a small of Stracciatella while my wife got a small of Crema di Biscotti gelato (similar to cookies and cream). Other menu items include gelato, sorbet, cakes, coffee, Frost Bites (gelato bites dipped in chocolate) and drinks. We then went across the street next to Blanco where they have an open grassy area and some comfortable seating. We enjoyed sitting and people watching while eating our gelato. The area itself seems to have a lot to offer with new restaurants and stores opening up and events on the grassy area on most weekends. The staff were friendly and answered questions. They mentioned while there is no loyalty club, something is in the works. There is seating right outside and even more just across the street by the grassy area. While there is no birthday club, they do provide a special birthday treat for those celebrating a birthday (on or around their birthday). Other locations offer a free small cup of gelato or a free Frost Bite (chocolate truffle of one of several flavor options); only time will tell what they offer at this location. You can order gelato or Frost Bites to go and even get spaghetti and meatballs Frost style with gelato "noodles" and Frostbite "meatballs". Check out their detailed website complete with a Flavor Picker (https://www.frostgelato.com/flavor-picker). You can find their menu, catering options, and information about Frost Gelato, its master chef, and its history. We look forward to returning to this location again soon!

I've been to frost's biltmore location so I was excited to try this one while I was in the area! There is a large selection of gelato flavors so I sampled two before I decided to get a small scoop of the bagigi peanut. I've never had that flavor before and it's nice with the bits of caramel and chocolate. I like the blue color scheme inside and the staff were very friendly.

The gelato was awesome. Loved the limoncello. Great location at the new PV Reimagined. On cooler days- you can relax at the park nearby.

You order first and then find a seat, so it's a little bit of a shuffle, but the woman behind the counter was genuinely helpful with recommendations and what's popular. And once we ordered, the food came out pretty fast. We kicked things off with the Big Dill appetizer, and when they say "giant," they're not kidding. It's a comically large pickle, seasoned up and cut into four spears. The seasoning was actually really good, nice flavor, the right amount of spice. I'll be honest: I'm not a huge pickle person, so I didn't fall in love... but if you are a pickle person, this is absolutely your moment. I tried the brunch burrito and it was a solid portion, filling, well-built, and the avocado salsa helped a lot (I was using it like a cheat code). The only reason I wouldn't come back specifically for that burrito is the flavors didn't really pop for me, and I wished the potatoes had more crisp and there was more seasoning on the eggs. It wasn't bad at all just not a "I'm still thinking about this tomorrow" type of burrito. The drinks though? Really unique, I had the French toast latte and the banana hazelnut latte, and they serve them in this super cool commercial can sealer setup. It's such a clever touch as if your coffee came with packaging confidence. Better yet, the lattes were actually delicious and you could taste the quality of the beans underneath the flavors. We also tried the Philly cheesesteak, and it's a BIG sandwich on what tastes like a homemade sesame hoagie. The "shaved ribeye" looked more like finely chopped/ground ribeye, but honestly... it worked. It tasted great with the cheese sauce and hit the spot. The fries that came with it were steak fries, cooked to perfection, with a few extra-crispy pieces mixed in (which is basically the fry jackpot). And then there was the avocado + burrata bagel... which might be the best bagel I've ever had and I don't say that lightly. The everything bagel was fresh, toasted perfectly, and the toppings blended together so well that every bite somehow got better than the last. I also tried the lox and it was worth the money, generous smoked salmon, capers, tomato, the whole deal. Bottom line: there's a lot to love here, and it's going to take me a few more visits to work through all the menu items that look worth trying. Come hungry, expect a line at peak brunch, and don't leave without that avocado burrata bagel (and maybe one of those sealed lattes, because it's just fun).

For our bagel, we ordered an everything bagel with charcuterie cream cheese, which I can best describe as everything but the kitchen sink - capicola, mortadella, salami, provolone, artichokes, tomoatoes, roasted peppers, pepperocini, olives and red onion - all chopped up and mixed into the cream cheese. Somehow it all seems to work in terms of flavor, but as for the bagel itself I wish it were a bit bigger and had more chew, although it was decent. The biggest disappointment was with our cinnamon roll and coffees. They were out of the regular cinnamon roll so we ordered the salted caramel one. The sad part was it was cold. I mean who wants a cold cinnamon roll, even the one at Cinnabon is warm. As for the coffees, we ordered the banana hazelnut and strawberry matcha. We assumed the coffees would be hot but were given iced coffees. Only later we noticed they can be ordered either hot or iced, and wished the server had asked for our preference. As for the iced coffees, I'm not quite sure I understand the whole concept of putting them in soda cans, as the foam got stuck to the top of the can and all the flavor sank down to the bottom.

This was one of the first places I found that people had suggested for me, and so I thought it might be a good place to get some work done and a morning joe to sip on. I came in without any pretense, and perused the menu. After having talked to a barista, my eyes wandered to the pourover menu, and I ended up getting their Reserve pourover, iced. It was a nice combination of berry fruit, lemon rind, and bright flavors that felt very refreshing! I enjoyed the drink a lot, and I would easily go back and grab some espresso-based beverages or another pourover! The space itself is grand. It's an industrial building with 3 massive roasters and plenty of seating both on the bottom floor and on the loft section. I sat in the loft and got a good vibe from it! Come by and enjoy some of Phoenix's best coffee!

The menu looked really good so my sis and I went to give it a shot since they also have baked goods. Walking in, the space was huge which makes sense as it's inside of chompies and I love that spot. We got some cookies from the bakery and it's weighed for pricing. The chocolate butter cookies were delicious but the other ones tasted a bit funny and not at all like butter cookies. We ordered an iced brown sugar oat milk shaken with cold foam and iced turtle with cold foam. The lady at the register was nice and asked if we really wanted cold foam, and we said yes twice. The coffee was taking a while so we walked around the area and looked at their merchandise but the coffees still wasn't done so we sat at the chairs and tables by the coffee place. The lady at the register stated that the cold foam wasn't working out and they are trying and asked if we still wanted to wait. Well of course we did cause we paid an extra dollar and some change for the cold foam. So it's odd that she was going to give us the coffee without it and not even ask if we wanted anything else in place of that. After what seemed like 15 minutes waiting for iced coffee we finally got it and as you can see from the picture, there was barely any cold foam. The lady was nice but the experience was lacking due to the order not being what we really wanted. Both coffees were sweet and it was not terrible. I'd go back for the baked goods only.
