Went there today and it was a refreshing treat. I had the medium cup with strawberry cheesecake and passion fruit. I have always loved the passion fruit flavor and this one was very refreshing. The strawberry cheesecake was creamy and tasted good. There are a lot of choices of flavors including tiramisu, salted caramel, limoncello, and many more. It's hard to decide when you see all the choices. The staff make you feel welcome and are patient while you make the tough decision. After being seated, someone came around with glasses of water and later, they came with a sample of raspberry carbonated water topped with lemon topping which was also delicious. Espresso chip pint here is the item I continue to order when passing through. It's very good, has tasty espresso chips within and comes with a round crunch ball on top. The staff is super nice. the prep cook Dakota who has a heavy Appalachian accent licks the spoons they prep the gelato with and claims it's fine since they wash them after (sprays them off with cold water and no soap or sanitizer). These are the same scoops that are being used to serve the gelato. The cups and lids to serve customers for Haute Coffee and Frost gelato are also kept in a "storage closet" which is quite literally a large single toilet restroom where there's no cameras on the cups and lids. employees can theoretically close that restroom door behind them and then do whatever they want to the cups. not to mention the boxes and packages are being opened and kept in the restroom opened where poop particles are everywhere. read more

Some of the worst customer service, specially from Alina who repeatedly spoke to customers in a condescending manor. Watched her and another staff member give an elderly couple a hard time regarding their order when it was obvious they were hard of hearing. The behavior was witness with other customers as they were getting their orders. After Church we took the kids to get ice cream .After waiting about 8 minutes because there was only one person taking orders Alina comes up to the counter to take orders with a non friendly face claiming to be the general manager at the place gives us the worst attitude. Been a customer since it opened and never had an issue until now .The issue was when we asked her to serve 1/2 the size for my 2 year old kid (something that they have always been doing for my kids) letting her know I will pay for the small serving but only to serve half. She stated no ,only have small or large size. One of the other kids wanted half a flavor and half another flavor size large again letting her know I will pay for the extra. She refused to serve us and asked us to leave. We where a party of 3 adults and 4 kids I never in my life have I been in a place with so lack of costumer service and a attitude like that. She claiming to be the manager definitely not the best management was the only person unfriendly rolling her eyes giving push back on simple requests. Never knew I could like anything better than ice cream! But here we are! I've never been sold on gelato until I tried Frost. They also make the #1 gelato in America! Voted around the world. They even expanded, though they started here in Tucson. Frost has a very entertaining story, you should look it up if you have a chance. This location is my favorite because it's got more indoor seating and you can take pictures with their little company moped that has the "Frost" logo. Its powder blue color is super cute. In this this particular review, though, I want to specifically laud Frost for the absolutely spectacular job they did on a gelato cake for my mom's birthday. Their cakes are beautiful and delicious, of course, and this one proved to be the surprise that made my mom's socially-distanced birthday feel extra special. The cake was compromised of chocolate hazelnut and sea salt caramel gelatos, with a layer of vanilla cake, covered with a chocolate mirror glaze on top and with chocolate shingles around the sides. They also decorated it with candies that matched the gelato flavors. We all enjoyed it immensely, and my mom gushed about how amazing it was the whole time. The gelato is excellent when they give you the proper portion! I was there and ordered a grande gelato coffee. when the young man gave it to me he put a cap on. I opened it an it was no more than maybe an ounce of coffee, some whipping cream froth, and the taste of the gelato I ordered. I really think he didn't know what he was doing or was a new trainee and I was extremely disappointed because this cost $5.99 plus tax. I normally get a small cup of gelato when I order at Frost chains, and realize that costs are going up, but their prices are bordering on the absurd. The flavors all looked amazing but we went with the featured flavor "Lotus cookie" and the GG peanut - I think that is what it was called. This was an award winning g flavor. After all of the great reviews, I hate leaving a poor review, but I waited in line to buy water today while one server made 48 tiny gelato cones for a couple who had a hard time deciding what flavors they wanted for each cone. The cones were stacked in a tree-like display, which was beautiful, and I'd guess was intended for a party. Another couple had two kids waiting to buy cups of gelato. There was one server who went in the back and never returned and one server who was making the 48 little cones while the other couple and I patiently waited. Then, on cone 46, she knocked the whole thing over. These things happen. The couple who ordered it grew more antsy. The couple with the two kids grew more frustrated as their kids were climbing around, and I grew more impatient as I'd said I just wanted to buy a bottle of water and she said I needed to wait (fair enough). The other server came out, got herself some gelato and a water, and went into the back. By now, the line was about six more families longer. It was a beautiful Saturday, perfect, warm weather, and a crowded day. Staffing should have been better managed, the employees should have been better organized to triage large orders and not hold up a long line. I walked back later and three people were working and things seemed to be moving a little better, but some were grumbling about the gelato not being worth the wait. read more
