Another family celebration to be had and another beautiful, delicious cake to be ordered for my dad's 70th birthday. Service was top notch as always and cake design was very much on par to reference photo. And did I mention that it tasted good too? Also ordered these delicious fruit turnover desserts (I forgot what they're called). They were crisp on the outside and even kept well in a cold garage overnight until party day. Perfect size for a dessert table. Had absolutely no leftovers (kinda bummed about that lol). Forgot to take a better pic. Will continue to recommend this bakery for all your tasty celebration treat needs :)
My husband & I had our daughters Quinceañera cake done by Callejas a week ago. The cake turned out beautiful and delicious. All of our guests complimented the cake flavor and design. Callejas allows you to book a cake tasting appointment, which we took advantage of. At the cake tasting time we also gave them a couple of pictures of what we wanted the design to look like. The cake truly looked beautiful. Callejas delivered more than what we expected. As far as flavors, we were unable to choose from three flavors so we picked all of them. Red velvet with raspberry filling, red velvet with cream cheese filling & white with a strawberry cream. All 3 were delicious . I can't wait to use them for our next event
I am the friend Julia P ordered those delicious treats for!!! She always knows how to make me feel special, and most of the time that involves flour, sugar and fat. Lol it was not only super kind of her to send them, but amazing with what Calleja's Cakes did to help make it truly touching. The writing on everything was just really sweet. It was very nicely packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The cake pop and strawberry were gobbled down, but you know, in a lady like manner. The Oreo cake really is huge. I ate just under half and had to stop. So so good and rich. I am positive the cheesecake will be divine as well. Thank you so much for making my birthday awesome!
We needed a cake for this past weekend and we give them a try. The lady was very helpful. We didn't know what flavor we wanted only the style. So she offer different flavors. We decided to get chocolate with chocolate moose filling and the champagne with the champagne filling. The cake look very pretty. And everybody likes the taste. The chocolate one was creamy and moist. Very good. Not too sweet. Just the way we liked it. The champagne had a little kick of the actual champagne. Also everybody was so happy with the taste. Overall they did a great job. The cake was on time and we really appreciated because the party was schedule for 6:00 so we could start the party on time. We will order another cake from here. I ordered a Batman cake for my son's 6th birthday this past Saturday and it came out perfect and exactly like the photo I showed them. I ordered the cake a week before the party (because I'm a terrible planner lol) and they had no problem taking the order. The staff was professional and extremely friendly on the phone and in person. Also, the cake was very tasty! I'm already in the process of ordering another cake from them and I can't wait to see how this one turns out. I've definitely found my go to place for cakes and baked goods!! Also, try a slice of the Tres Leches cake!! So bomb and only five bucks!
Ordered baptism cookies for my daughter's baptism and they came out really nice. Taste was ok that is why I can't give them 5/5 stars. They were plain and hard, definitely only decoration cookies. However the cookies looked great! A bit pricey ($234 for 3 dozen cookies) but they were individually wrapped and custom ordered. The cookies are pretty large as well.
When it's National Cheesecake Day need to get some Cheesecake. After doing the Yelp search for bakery that offers cheesecake. Worked out great they are located on route from work to home. The bakery is a little hidden gem located on the north end of a little strip mall that unfortunately has a lot of vacancies. Was greeted right away with a very friendly, helpful young lady. Picked up a slice of cheesecake that had a couple blueberries, strawberry & a little chocolate on top, it was delicious. They offer so many yummy looking pastries, cakes & wedding cakes. Will be back again for sure. Support local.

They are a bakery that is originally from Kerman and are now expanding. To give a better idea of their location it is right next to golden dynasty chinese restaurant next to Target on shields and first. Very clean facility , good prices and delicious items for sale. The owner let me sample small pastries which were sooooo freakin good !! One in particular was called rugelach, never heard of if it but basically it is a pastry topped with sugar and in the middle you will discover candied walnuts with apricot preserves. It melted in your mouth and was probably my favorite thing so far that I've tried. I purchased a chocolate covered strawberry and it was huge!!! Not only that but the strawberry was so fresh and sweet, the dark chocolate tasted high quality. I didn't stop there, my weakness is cheesecake so of course I had to get a slice, it had chocolate ganache on top with a glazed strawberry and it's a hit. This is a family run business, I recommend stopping by and supporting! Excellent service and they also do wedding cakes, birthday cakes and special orders for your next event.
I had my daughter's birthday cake done here, it was strawberry cake with fresh strawberry filling. The cake was moist and the buttercream was perfect.
These are not cakes. They're masterpieces. So friendly and creative! Amazing pasties and cookies and cheesecakes and STRAWBERRY PIZZA! They do not skimp on the strawberries you will not be disappointed.
I came to get a cake for my grandma's birthday. The gentleman helping me was so sweet and helpful. He made suggestions and gave me a sample of a pastry they had available. I ended up picking out a champagne cake. They wrote happy birthday on it for me and packaged it up neatly. Everyone at the party enjoyed the cake. It was soft and fresh, not overly sweet. If I'm ever in need of another cake this will be the place I check first.
Best strawberry pizza ever in my book, I will order my sweets from here from now on! Cakes are delicious as well.

I needed a cake for graduation dinner and Callejas Cakes really made it hsppen. I enjoy their cakes because their service is so friendly and the people are so nice. This is not my first time buying a cake here. My first time purchasing a cake here was for my daughter's 21st birthday and it was a special order cake. They also do well on theme cakes. This cake for the graduation party tasted so well and looked fabulous! I was able to purchase a vanilla cake with a strawberry filling. The cake was covered in a whipped cream icing in topped with glazed strawberries and blueberries. They were able to customize it for me and everybody enjoyed it at dinner. Overall you can't go wrong here read more
I've lived near this bakery for SOOOO long and I barely tried it! I regret not trying it sooner because holy-- their baked goods are delicious! I got the strawberry pizza, fruit tart and cheesecake and omg, I will definitely be returning for all 3! Priced nicely and they tasted amazing! read more
12/20/24 Really great reviews from great Yelpers. Had to check it out and get dinner for tonight. Arrived. Greeted upon entering! Now I know why it got Great reviews! Tons of Great sweet treats and the worker was happy to give recommendations. I got the "popular" strawberry pizza and 2 cake pops. Paid for the order with good day wishes and they will be open on Christmas Eve if you want to get some goods! Dinner! Bought to share! 1/2 of the strawberry pizza was DELICIOUS! Lots of flavor with the strawberries and tasty crust! Cake pop was Fantastic! Crunch of sweet flavor on the outside with soft deliciousness on the inside! Mother said hers was REALLY Great! Horrible!!! Horrible!! Services!! I paid for a cake that looked nothing like I asked for!!! The owner was so rude & didn't even offer to fix the mistake they made. The cake was hard like it was left out or uncovered. They didn't even offer my refund back like the owner was trying to tell me they did. It was my son's birthday & that's what he asked for a jordan cake. Very unprofessional!! Instead of the owner saying OK ma'am How can we fix this we value our customers would like you to return no he was ready to argue and and shut me down.. read more

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend and the guy who treated us was really nice. It was closing time and he let us in because we were looking inside at what they had. Anyways, I bought a muffin with nuts and a slice of mocha cake. Both were delicious and together it came out to $5.50 around there which for me was a pretty good deal. The only complaint I have is I wish the cake would taste more like mocha because I got hints of it but it mostly tasted like chocolate cake. Not mad though. read more

Delicious little bakery. We were craving cheesecake and I remembered seeing Lila's review that they had cheesecake here. More of the NY style, it did not disappoint; creamy and thick without being heavy or dense or dry. We also tried the strawberry pizza which also had some cheesecake patisserie cream that was different from the cheesecake, lighter and oh so yummy. Cheesecake was a good size, enough to share but my daughter really didn't want to lol. The strawberry pizza was definitely big enough for two. Since then, my girls have come back a few more times for a larger strawberry pizza, strawberry cream puff, slice of chocolate cake. Oh and a slice of tres leches cake which was really good. The cream puff pastry tasted stale like it had been there too many days. The chocolate cake was moist but had a raspberry filling we didn't care for. I need to try the Mexican pastries, they are my fave. There are lots of cakes on display. I've already told my family I want my birthday cake from here, can't wait. read more

Amazing! They worked with us through many covid delays and when our wedding finally happened they delivered the most beautiful cake! Everyone was shocked at how moist and delicious it was. Not to mention the grooms cake I surprised my husband with. read more
