Tay was amazing to work with. I called her last minute to order cupcakes for my grandma's celebration of life. She delivered 5 dozen cupcakes that were perfectly decorated in 4 days notice. Everyone commented on how delicious they were!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making the ordering process so easy!!! Pecan was my favorite & would have been grandma's favorite too!
To this day, my husband still talks about this cake. Says it was probably if not the best, then one of the best he's ever had... ever. Any my husband had had a lot of cake (haha) Tay made a cake for my son's first birthday party.. I sent her inspo with specific details of color and how I envisioned it, and she communicated well and promptly. To say she did good is an understatement. She crushed it. Every last detail. Sometimes cakes that look pretty don't taste the best, but that was absolutely not the case with Tay's cake! Visually appealing and just all the rave at the party. Everyone loved it!
There is not enough heart eyes emojis I can use to describe my daughter's birthday cake! Tay was quick to respond and communicated throughout order process. Pick up was a breeze. Her cake was outstanding! I will for sure be a returning customer for any special occasion that needs a cake/cupcake. Her cake also tasted perfect! Not too sweet, in my opinion and the right amount of "moist" lol! Don't hesitate to get your cake from Tay!

Chauntay made my daughter's lamb dreams come true with her sweet baa baa cake! It was adorable and delicious! We got the strawberry with buttercream frosting and it was amazing! Everyone was asking where we got it from! Communication was excellent and super professional. I highly recommend you give Chauntay a call!
What an amazing experience I had working with Sweet Cakes by Tay from beginning to end. The whole process was very smooth and the end result was spectacular! She made a specialty cake for my son's graduation from pharmacy school along with various cupcakes and they turned out better than I could have imagined. The cake became the centerpiece of the event and I received SO many compliments! The cake was moist and the buttercream frosting was very good and not overly sweet. The order was completed earlier than expected and like others mentioned, she gave detailed instructions on how to store them and when to take them out to serve. Very helpful information. She is very talented and does amazing work. I'm so happy I found her and I would 100% recommend her and use her again for my future events. We discovered Tay when we were searching for someone to make our wedding cake for us. All it took was one sample pack of cupcakes and we knew, this girl was the one we wanted. She took the image we had in our heads and brought it spectacularly to life, and our cake truly became one of the most memorable and special things about our wedding day. We knew from then on that we are customers for life! We got a birthday cake for my wife (as we plan to celebrate every birthday from here on out!) last week and it was just as amazing. The Cheshire cat cake was a hit, from the design to the taste, everyone loved it! I truly can't recommend this girl enough, she is absolutely amazing at cake, and - perhaps even more importantly, one of the sweetest, kindest people ever.
I have always loved a great cake and dessert for parties and with Covid and the LACK thereof, I wanted to do something super special for my little. I have had luck in the past with more "locally owned" vendors for cakes and when I looked an old one up she was no longer in service, so I ventured out online and found Sweet Cakes by Tay and after seeing her reviews and looking at her pictures, she is exactly what I was looking for. I messaged her, she responded very quickly, I showed her ideas I had for the cakes and the cupcakes, we got an array of flavors and they were AMAZING!! We got various flavors for the cupcakes, chocolate for the cake, she made EVERYTHING from scratch and it was ALL edible, the details she spent her time on was just amazing. and the flavors of each were soo delish. Very soft, full of flavor, not dry, not overcooked, everything was soft and just PERFECT! We will absolutely use her again in the future, the whole experience with check ins and emails and confirmations just made it so special and took my worries off my plate. Thank you!
Tay is an exceptional cake maker and is wonderful to work with. She is super friendly and helpful, and was able to recreate a fun cake for my Uncle's 75th birthday. Was introduced to Tay and her business during a Yelp Event. She had 5 mini cupcake samples left I was fortunate to have gotten the opportunity to try them. I could just remember how delicious and moist the cakes were but also loved the taste of the buttercream, it was light on my palate and not overwhelming sweet compared to other buttercream's I've tasted. It was definitely one of the best tasting buttercream I've EVER had. I just knew I had to order some for my upcoming event. I reached out to her via IG and also made an inquiry/ requested for a quote on her website. She emailed be back the next morning with a very detailed quote. She was very responsive and kind. We exchanged a few emails and I finally decided what I wanted. I ordered one dozen customized moon and star themed strawberry with vanilla buttercream cupcakes. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to be placed on her calendar. She texted me a few days before my event to confirm my order and we set up a date and time for me to pick up. The day of pick up I texted and called her I was there and she greeted me outside and gave me verbal instructions on time frames of when it was best to serve them. The cupcakes were beautifully made, presented, and packed nicely it was just as she described it in the detailed quote she sent. She said she made the fondant and everything was edible. The day of the party I had took them out around the time frame she had told me to. But they were sitting out alittle longer before my guest started to come in and try. But everything was still intact. They were just as delicious as the first time I tried them. And I was so surprised how soft and great tasting the fondant star and moon was. Normally I don't care for the taste of fondant but her fondant was good. Wish I had ordered more so everyone could have had the opportunity to try. Because once people started to take them they all disappeared like hotcakes. But those who had the opportunity to try just loved it and was raving about how delicious they were. Some asked about her contact info and I happily shared her IG. Overall I had an amazing experience. Tay was so kind, with a great personality and she's easy to talk to. Her prices are reasonable and her cakes are to die for! Highly recommend and I can't wait to order from her again! Thank you again Tay! read more

I found Sweet Cakes By Tay here on yelp. The pictures of her work caught my eye instantly, and I knew I wanted her to be the one to make my cake. She has many flavors and fillings to choose from. I chose funfetti cake, with a hand whipped strawberry cream filling. It was the best cake I've ever had. Highly recommend Sweet Cakes by Tay!!! She made a cake for my moms surprise party and it turned out 10x better than I imagined. Her execution was flawless and created exactly what I asked for! Hands down the best tasting cake and design! We were shopping around for a homemade and moist tasting cake/cupcake for our daughter's birthday and we were so excited we went with Tay! I ordered this special Birthday cake for my daughter and she absolutely loved it!! This 6" Rainbow colored vanilla cake with fresh cream and strawberry crunch was all just the right amount of flavors.
