Always great till this last time I ordered 66 mini concha's they charged me for the box, something in the past they didn't. I asked for variety and I came to the event and opened the box and there was no pink concha's. Students were disappointed. I will look for another bakery that does mini concha's. Also For the receipt they wrote down the wrong amount so I will get reimbursed less money because of their mistake. read more

These ladies did the best they could to make me a nice cake at a great price. Very good tasting cake. Fairly close representation of what I wanted. I give them 3 stars because the decorations such as the stars and checkers were made of styrofoam and were inedible. So basically we had to destroy the cake before it could be served. We ordered a two-tier anniversary cake from Gaby's to serve 40 people and it was fantastic. So beautiful! Actually was better looking than my original wedding cake and our guests could not stop telling us how delicious it was, we even had guest asking to take left overs home. Customer service here is basically non-existent. My family was a customer of Gaby's for years. We would normally buy 7-10 cakes a year (we are a large family and would order a cake here for each birthday plus holidays). We also bought a lot of their Mexican sweet bread year round. We noticed Gaby's Bakery stopped caring about the customers when the cakes we ordered kept having mistakes. At first the colors on the cakes were not the ones we ordered, the mistakes continued to get worse. Multiple times they would place a different design which did not match our order (same character but not the same design). It finally got to the point which we ordered a cake and the flavor of the actual cake was not correct. These mistakes become a problem when you have a specific color schemes and/or theme for your party and the cake does not match because Gaby's Bakery decides to choose the colors/decorations they are placing on the cake instead of following the order you placed with them. We were once loyal customers of Gaby's Bakery but it's sad to see they do not care about their customers. read more

Americans are apperantly not wanted here. Had purchased cakes here several times but I would translate. My wife attempted to purchase one on her own and was spoken to in Spanish(expected, no issue there). When my wife said she did not speak Spanish and asked if anyone could help her in English she was told, in broken English, leave this is Mexican store for Mexicans you go to American store. The employee (not the owner who helped us on past visits) obviously had enough English to assist but chose not to. Even if a complete language barrior existed there is a much more polite and professional mannor to address the situation. We miss Hector's Bakery now even more and will not be back here. read more

Same here. This place was HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and so I order my cake and go to pick up and and it's a completely different character than what I asked for and super ugly at that !! So they take the cake back and print out the character and just slap it on ! The way they cut it was like a child and then we finally get home have the cake later on and it's NOTHING I asked for !!
