I thought the inside was very clean which was nice. I think the pricing is a little high on the drinks as they are majority ice. I enjoyed the tots which were hot and crispy. The burger I didn't enjoy. It had a unique taste in the meat that I didn't enjoy. I would prefer name brand condiments also as those are more flavorable. My friends and I have started going to Frosty's frequently for our first semester of college, and we LOVE Frosty's! The owner, Patrick, is such a sweet man. He always strikes up a conversations with customers, and he's always very welcoming! My friends and I look forward to seeing Patrick every time we go to Frosty's. As for food, I always enjoy my meals! Go to orders are a grilled cheese and chili cheese fries! And to finish it off, I get my vanilla soft serve cake cone and my cousin gets the coffee shake. As a broke college student, I love the low prices for such high quality food! The ambience is just what you would expect for a 50s diner. I've driven by this place for nearly 3 yrs. and finally decided to take my grandson. It was our first time, and it was great. My son and I pass this location all the time but never get a chance to stop by. We made the effort today and were not disappointed. I read a couple of reviews and advised my family that the chili's cheese fries, milkshake and root beer were must haves. I took a sip (when he wasn't looking shhhh) and yes it was amazing! I saw a couple next to me and they had onion rings that also looked amazing! I finally made my return trip tonight to Frosty Drive N to sample that burger I was craving a year ago. While the wait was painful and the journey was long and winding, I can honestly say it was worth it. I was greeted promptly upon entering and was helped as I viewed the menu in trying to make the perfect order. Old Fashion Hamburger was my choice with mustard. "Cheese on that?" Yes, I do believe so. "Single or double meat?" Double was my reply. "Fries or tots?" Fries, please. As I'm pondering the drink selection, I hear "homemade root beer" singing in my ears. Paid a modest price for such fine cuisine, and the wait could not have been much more than 5 minutes. Back home and food still hot and drink ice cold as I feasted like a king. 5 STARS in my Yelp Book Review. I will be back. You should, too. OMG the burrito here is AMAZING!!! My first time visiting was during COVID the owner came to my car window and placed my order. so there is no need to get down and be around others. He took the time to explain the menu and answer any questions. I am originally from the valley and Laredo Tacos usually has this burrito with crushed meat inside (my childhood favorite) and they have the exact same burrito here. This place being around for decades, and putting out a great burger and malt.... yeah, they got five stars. This is one of those places that you drive past not realizing what is inside. Believe me, I passed it several times, no clue. But I finally saw at least five or six people I'm connected to have all been there. I figured I had to try it at least once. I am so glad I did. Simple and right to the point. Owner greeting everybody and kids eating ice cream with sprinkles. The small shake is plenty big and you can drink it through a straw as the owner said he liked it. I had the special sauce and veggies , no cheese. The bun is great . All the burgers are doubles as far as I can tell. Excellent. Looked like Dad was on the grill and everything was made fresh to order. Dunno if patty's are hand formed on site or frozen. I do t give a shit. Haven't been here in ages and decided to stop by as we were driving past today. Between my two young daughters and I we ordered the hickory and onion cheeseburger (fantastic flavor and nice size), mini burger (perfect size for my 10 year old), chicken fingers (excellent breading with a delicious gravy), crinkle cut French fries (great portion), tater tots (have you ever had a bad tot?), a dreamsicle shake (oh my yum), and a peppermint malt with Oreos (oh my double yum). Currently they are not allowing dine in, but there are a few tables out front you can sit at or sit in your car. Before I could even call to order someone (manager? owner?) was out to greet us and take our order. Service is very friendly! While we waited for our food, we watched him chat with the other patrons there- friendly service is one of my top priorities in a restaurant, and Mr Frosty definitely checks that box. Had we not been starving I would have taken pics, but the food was so good and fresh that we practically inhaled our meal. This place looks like exactly what it is, a classic burger joint with predictably delicious shakes, malts, and floats. I don't live in the area, but often stop by when I'm in Denton. You're probably going to want at least two patties on your burger- a quarter pound. For the sides, I prefer the tots, but my wife informs me that the onion rings are better. Bring a group and sample. While the burgers are solid, what sets this place apart for me is the beverages. True to the Frosty name, the shakes and floats are delicious. I can't allow myself to have one every time I go, but they're a great treat. Great service too, very welcoming and friendly. Last time I went I discovered that my daughter had taken my cards out of my wallet and therefore I had no way to pay- extremely embarrassing. While I ultimately was able to call my wife to get a card number, the owner was prepared to give me my meal for free. You won't get that kind of service at Sonic. Great food I got the #4 it's was wonderfully messy like a chili cheese burger should be. My kids both got a #6 and they devoured the burgers.
