    Friends extravaganza

Place was very clean and dessert was absolutely delicious even though my friends extravaganza cost $20 but she payed so I'm not complaining. The service was great and the lady was extremely nice. 5/5 stars

The food was really good! The service was not too great, the person at the front desk was kind of rude. There is a nice location but there are lots of out of order flavors.

Frozen yogurt and selection of toppings were good. However the place needs a bit of attention. Perhaps they should put two people on a shift so that one can help customers while the other manages nearby store equipment issues.

    Very dirty bathroom

I arrived at this location today and asked for a sample cup to try the new holiday flavors. I was then told by the manager that I needed an adult present to receive a sample cup. As I looked around, I noticed that the location was very unsanitary; this includes unclean and untamed machines, bathrooms and floors. They also advertise gelato and smoothies but don't offer these options. I would not recommend this location especially if you're under the age of 18 without an adult.

First there are so many great ice cream places in St. Louis that I would go before this place. My kids love getting whatever toppings they want, so you know what kids win sometimes. My big problem with this location was how the only employee working closed the store early on a Friday night in mid-July. Luckily we got served, but while we were eating we saw at least 5 families come up to the doors to find them locked at 8:35, when they clearly were supposed to close at 9 (picture was taken as we left). This is unacceptable, especially during the summer months.

Prices are ok! Place is clean enough. The cotton candy flavor wasn't good to me. The pomegranate raspberry was pretty good.

It definitely lives up to the hype in terms of popularity--the place was packed even at 10:30 PM, but the line moved quickly thanks to their efficient service. The concept is simple: the custard starts with a vanilla base, and you can customize it with a variety of toppings. They also offer a few other flavor options, so there's plenty to choose from. We tried a couple of different custards, and while they were good, I honestly didn't find them as exceptional as I expected given all the buzz. The flavors were enjoyable, but I felt they were a bit overpriced for what you get compared to other frozen dessert shops. One thing that surprised me was how quickly the custard started to melt, even before I had eaten much of it. Overall, it's worth trying if you're visiting St. Louis since it's such an iconic local spot, but for me, it didn't quite live up to the hype. It may be a beloved hometown favorite, but I'm not sure it's a must-visit destination for everyone.

You don't realize how big the cup they use for three scoops is until they start putting ice cream…read morein it and it's like, Whoa, do I really need $10 worth of ice cream? Well, I guess it's not really $10 worth of ice cream. Certainly, it's not $10 worth of ice cream by 1990s standards. Once, I could go get an entire tub of Schnucks store-brand mint chocolate chip with weirdly strong artificial flavoring (arguably the GOAT ice cream) with the change found between the seat cushions in the station wagon I used to drive. You'd die trying to eat $10 worth of that. Eventually, you might die eating Clementine's. It'll run you, but you get a lot of calories for your dollar. It might even be a good value, depending on how you look at it. They pack it into those little tubs, too. No Diddy. They fill the tub and then they pile it high on top. It's the ol' Five Guys strategy of charging you money out the ass and then giving you more food than you require, as if they're doing you a favor. Uh, thanks? All of the flavors I had were really good, but they were incredibly rich, to the point where after a while they get to be a bit much. They had a mouthfeel almost more along the lines of butter than the cheap ice cream I should be buying (I've been known to eat soft serve from QT), and I'm assuming that's because they have a nutritional profile that's not altogether different. As one of the girls from my running group pointed out, after a while the flavors all kinda run together. Part of it's that they actually melt into each other, and part of it's I'm sure just palette fatigue. I went with three scoops. The ideal order here might be two: enough that you don't feel ripped off, or that you came a long way for nothing, but not so much that you somehow develop delayed onset lactose intolerance in your 40s. Of the three flavors that I had, I liked the Salted Caramel Cookies + Cream, Heritage Mint Chip and Gooey Butter Cake, in that order. But you really can't go wrong with any of those. The Gooey Butter Cake is their signature, but I'm a mint chip brother, as previously discussed. The Salted Caramel Cookies + Cream might be their top flavor. It was my favorite of the ones that I tried, and a girl from our group whose opinion I trust said it's the best.

A really satisfying mix of flavours and textures throughout. One other thing I really appreciated was that they provided lactase which is such a thoughtful touch to make it easier for people who are lactose sensitive to still enjoy everything.
