I wish I could give them zero stars. They've had our vehicle for 13 days. It typically takes 3-4…read moredays for the job they are doing (or not doing) and have given numerous excuses why it's taking so long. The time it's taking has nothing to do with parts or the vehicle it has to do with their work ethic and lack of hiring decent mechanics. I would never recommend them nor speak well of them again. What would one do if this was their only vehicle? Rent, walk, Uber? Meanwhile we will pay a fortune and suffer the wear and tear and other costs of using another vehicle. No loss to them though. Anyone that's rating their service better didn't have major work done. An update is necessary, I was really upset at the time it took but now I understand better. We received the car back yesterday and today it was leaking fluid again (no fault of AAMCO) and we had to return to the shop. I was really angry and probably a bit ridiculous. Paul did come out to speak to us and explained the problem and I became more familiar. We are a one car family without the vehicle things have been extremely hectic. Paul offered a rental until the problem was fixed and that was very kind of him. I appreciate his understanding of our situation and his offer to help. I would say I may recommend them, but I whole heartedly hope that we don't have to have such work done again. Thank you Paul. I do have to say that you don't look like the Paul I'm familiar with however. Not to be offensive.

These people are the worst service we've ever encountered. Our transmission broke, and they took…read morethree months to fix it. Each week, they would say, "Oh, it'll be done next week," but it never was. Then, after they fixed it, it blew up again because of their fault. Now, a month later, they haven't touched it and keep saying, "Next week, next week." They don't answer the phone and don't call back when we leave a message. This is the poorest service we've ever had. We tried being nice, but nothing happened. This company is horrible, the service is more than awful. This is ridiculous

I don't think I can say enough nice things about this repair shop. They've been seeing my old Jeep…read morefor a couple years now. Geyer's is both good and trustworthy. Every repair I've had done here was completed correctly the first time, and usually within a day or two. I think the longest I've had to wait was 3 days, but that was because it took that long to get a part. Geyer's provides an estimate up front, but in my experience the estimate tends to be on the higher end. I've always been pleasantly surprised to be charged less than the initial estimate. Speaking of which, they also offer a military discount for soldiers and veterans, which takes a little extra off your total. They've also been really good about communicating, calling with the estimate and again when the job is completed. Everyone is courteous and helpful and takes time to explain what needs to be done or what was done if you have questions.

I should say, first, that I used to do my own auto repairs. Now, I do have the money to pay for…read moresomeone else to do so for me. I have not forgotten, though, to memorize exactly what my car needs when I take it to a repair shop. Before I had my oil change done at Watertown Auto Repair, I asked the guy at the desk how much it would cost for a full synthetic oil change for my 2012 Toyota Yaris sedan. He asked me how much oil my car took. I told him 4 quarts. After the hundreds of oil changes that I have had done on my car over the last ten years, I knew exactly how much oil my car takes. He told me $52 before taxes. After my oil change was done and he gave me the bill, it said $58.95 before taxes. I asked him why it cost more than the original estimate. He pointed to the bill and told me that it took 4.5 quarts. Obviously, I knew that this was not true. I looked in my manual but it did not have the amount of oil needed. It was not a repair manual. So, I went online. Over and over reputable websites stated that my car takes 3.9 quarts or, as I said, 4 quarts. Finally, I found the coup de grâce, the actual manual at Toyota with the oil specifications. Funny, Toyota seems to think that my car only takes 3.9 quarts of oil. Since they manufactured the car, I would think that they know how much oil it takes. Watertown Auto Repair must know something that the manufacturer doesn't or he lied and cheated me. Of course he did. Check out my images. I even provided the URLs. It might seem like a small thing, just a few dollars, but if I can't trust Watertown Auto Repair with a small job, I can't trust them with a large job either. Next time, I could be overcharged $1,000. That will never happen because I will never go back there again. Of course, I already told him that at the time. They lost my business and they should lose yours too. P.S. Service centers/repair shops, I'm the wrong person to cheat.
