Beyond disappointing service. Just because you change your menu doesn't mean you get to mess up what is on a burger. This has been my go-to spot for the last few years as I live in the area. I've never had a bad experience here and it's become a favorite spot for my friends as well. I prefer this location as I've been to the one in Parsippany and it's not as friendly and overall just seems more business-y. Most recently, I was at the Succasunna location during dinner time and despite how busy it got, I was taken care of with smiles and as quickly as when I'm there during the slower part of the day. I always have pleasant interactions with all the employees, no matter if they're a manager or a bus boy. Food is always hot and fresh, and the bottomless fries are a nice touch. They've got a wide variety of choices for toppings, sauces, as well as different options if you're not feeling like a burger. The exotic burgers are also awesome, as they're a nice low-fat option and aren't really available anywhere else in the area aside from a spot or two. I believe they've got Buffalo, Elk, Wild Boar and seasonally Ostrich. All in all, I always recommend this specific fuddruckers to friends and family, and will continue to do so in the future. read more

Bison burger was legit, and the vanilla shake is a perfect pairing. Prices are alright, but the place is dark and the TVs are in weird spots so its hard to watch a game depending on where you sit. Probably a good place to bring younger kids. read more

We waited a very long time for a simple burger. Milkshakes were super quick and cookies were perfect. Fries were extra crispy tonight which I love as well. The cashier/order taker was very friendly and informative. We ordered our food and got our drinks. The drink stand was nice, beat and clean (like the rest of the place); my hubby had The Fuddruckers, I had the Peach & ginger iced tea and our boys had some mix concoction they mixed up themselves. We waited for our number while watching some tv, chit-chatting and checking out the place. There's a arcade/video game section Machine Shack. We picked our foods and visited the Fixin' bar before we sat down. The food was very yummy. There are free refills on drinks and fries. The food was pleasing to the eyes and the nose and very yummy. Plus, there are free refills on drinks and fries!!!...especially excellent when you're trying to feed those that have big appetites and are very thirsty. The Bakery section has baked goods and desserts. Unfortunately we were all too stuffed for dessert *sniff sniff*. The price is reasonable especially for the quality and quantity that you're getting. The food is on par with other fuddruckers. Some of the best milkshakes ANYWHERE. Good burgers, fresh toppings, tasty fries. Overall I would likely give your average fuddruckers 3.5 out of 5 as a chain. It's pretty good, pricier then fast food but better food. There are other options with better food for the same or less price. But I genuinely like this chain I give two stars because I don't like orders that are done wrong. If you ask for two toppings and get neither that's not right. read more

Used to have better experiences here. There were not enough tables, ones that were open we're not cleared by the bus people. The food came in especially small portions, and the two shakes that our table ordered were served in styrofoam cups because they ran out of the regular ones. The shakes were the consistency of water, and tased awful; they were also significantly smaller then everyone else's in the restaurant. A relaxing atmosphere, with plenty of TVs and good music that's just the right volume transport you to another world. The burgers are cooked to order and served hot along side their famous fries. Not in the mood for fries swap them out for the side salad w honey mustard dressing. The management staff deserves alot of credit. I tried a buffalo inferno burger recently and I was pretty disappointed. I've had buffalo/bison burgers in the past but I felt this one had a weird, somewhat unpleasant flavor. It also wasn't particularly spicy despite having about 20 slices of jalapeno peppers on it. If you go here I would recommend sticking to the standard beef burgers. read more

For a burger franchise this place is pretty good. The first time I ordered a beef burger well done, it was perfect and still juicy. Not easy to do at all. Now we get the turkey burgers and turkey is hard to flavor well - these are just fine. Bison burgers are good too. Fries are just fine, although the sweet potato fries are just a little too sweet for me. I also love the variety of condiments and veggies you can put on your burgers. Place is always clean and workers always friendly. My son loves the game room (of course). I do agree that the TV's are in weird spots. Since there are so many there is no volume and no closed captioned on so you have no idea what is going on. All in all good burgers with a ton of good choices, clean and friendly. Hands down, my son's favorite restaurant (he's 5). Fast, friendly service and fresh, delicious food make Fudds a common stop for us on our way home. It's a perfect place for kids. Been a few years since we visited a Fuddruckers so we stopped in. We just love this place. I had a decadent juicy burger which I piled high with hot cheese and fixings. She had the chicken tenders that were big and juicy incide with a super crispy tasty coating. Free french fry refills contributed to the gluttony... My husband and I have been coming to this Fuddruckers since it has opened. We enjoy the cleanliness of the restaurant, the people who work there and of course the food. One of the managers has been there for a long time and the other two may have been employees who worked their way up. The food is great! We have never had an issue with our food. They have an arcade for the kids and they even have a bakery with desserts! I enjoy the salads and my husband loves the Buffalo and Kobe beef burgers. The toppings are great! We come here once a week and the staff knows who we are! What we enjoy is talking to the manager as he walks around to check to see how everything is. read more

Around noonish and I must say I was very delighted on the service. I guess other people feel the same as well because it was very busy on today's holiday. The employees were very nice and polite. My visit tonight leaves me with mixed impression. First, the manager was the only person on the cash registers, but when I walked up, he simply turned and walked away. Not a word or an acknowledgement that I was there. Very rude. A girl came to the register fairly quickly, took the order and assured me that the hamburgers would be medium rare not well done. It came out well done and dry. Also there was ketchup smeared on the floor which I brought to their attention. 10 minutes later it had still not been cleaned up. My wrap was good, my husband's burger mediocre at best. Management seems to change often and is obvious in the change of attitude of the crew. Sometimes good, usually "who gives a sh**". This is the only Fudds in the COUNTRY that doesn't sell Beer. The whole charm was that one can go and get Beer, unlike most other burger chains. The (now defunct) location in Wayne NJ, even had Full-Service Sit-down Bar. This place doesn't even carry Beer. That's sort of like Hooters with no wings. What's the point? I went to this fuddruckers location yesterday for a late lunch with some friends. I was very pleased with the attitude of the cashiers. Our cashier made sure we fully understood how to order and even suggested some of his favorite items so that we could give them a try. I ordered a turkey burger with the inferno toppings and a milk shake. The milkshake was first to come out and it was so good! It even came with the extras ! The turkey burger was so moist and not dry at all. I thought it would have been spicy but surprisingly it wasn't! The overall atmosphere was very relaxing. They had multiple tvs on every wall so every diner had something they liked to watch. Before leaving I went to use the. Bathroom and to my surprise, it was just as clean and tidy as the rest of the restaurant! Definitely a 5 star experience in my book. read more

I don't know if management changed but this place has been going downhill steadily for the past year or so. From the milkshakes being so think to the point that when I suck through the straw the vein in my forehead pops out, to the 1/2 lb. burger being dwarfed by the size of the bun, to not being given enough fries from the start so I don't have to go back up and get more, it's just not worth it. I was just there and barely got home in time to where I spent the last 30 minutes in the bathroom. I have never had such bad stomach pains as today's visit caused. This is my last time I'll be there for quite a while. Their message to me: Dear MP, First I would like to apologize for us not exceeding your expectations during your last visit. I am truly sorry. The ownership in this store has been the same since its inception and the same General Manager has been there for the past 5 years. I am sorry that our malt shop team member put too much Edy's ice cream in your shake making it too thick for your liking. I am also sorry that our baker probably left our buns in the proofer just a few minutes too much making some of the buns baked fresh this morning by a person not a machine a bit larger than they should have been. Once again I truly apologize. We have to do a better job in following up on our team members in the future. Since everything we make is done from scratch by hand and by humans it is very easy to miss a bun that may be a bit big or add an extra couple of ounces of ice cream to a shake. Rest assured if you ever let us know while you are in the restaurant we will take care of these issues immediately and do what ever we have to do to make you happy. As far as the fries go you are the very first complaint about not getting enough of fries with our all you can eat fries program. We see how much produce and condiments are completely wasted by people very day. If we were to give heaping amounts of fries to every guest we would see a lot going in the garbage so we give a 6 ounce portion of fries to each guest and allow them to get more as they desire. Sorry for the inconvenience but if we did it your way we could not do the all you can eat fries promotion. Your last point of saying you were sick caused by eating at Fudds is disenchanting at best. I am sorry that you got sick but I do not believe it is from our restaurant. First, without a stool sample it is 100% impossible to tell what you got sick from and where. 100% IMPOSSIBLE! Second, Food poisoning takes time to go through your system. It is HIGHLY doubtful, in fact 99% IMPROBABLE, that you got sick from something you ate 30 minutes or an hour ago. It is usually from something you ate 12 to 24 hours ago. Please check with your Doctor or call the local health department and hear it first hand from them. I do not think it is proper to make a statement about a business without really knowing if it is true! I go hear quite often, and everytime I go, the food comes out perfect!!!!! The burgers are juicy, and the buns are melt in your mouth soft. Honestly, Ill go no where else if I want a fast food kind of burger. Better than five guys or smashburger. They even cook it the way you want it (rare, medium, well, what ever your fancy). I've also had the salads and chicken wrap, and both came out absolutely DELICIOUS!!! They have unlimited drinks, which has very interesting juice/soda choices (they have those cool coke machines and a Jones soda machine thay has chocolate soda. Try the chocolate soda!!! Yum!) and unlimited fries (steak fries - that are perfectly season). Lastly they have a sauce and condiment bar so you can add what you want on your sandwich or salads. I just love this place!!! This place is just a burger joint, but consistently makes the best hamburgers. I've never experienced one that wasn't cooked the way I specified. These burgers are delicious. They offer specials like "kids eat half price" but check your receipt --- the register doesn't automatically calculate the discount. It's a shame to spend $70 in a restaurant and leave so disappointed. My kids like the arcade area but the tokens they require you to purchase don't work in all the machines! And because Fuddruckers only profits from the machines and they don't actually "OWN" them they take no responsibility for the arcade side of the restaurant. Just beware of this if you are going for the games. Overall a very poorly managed restaurant. Claiming they have the "Word's Greatest Hamburgers" is a pretty bold statement. It's not even close to being true but I ain't gonna lie, they make a pretty solid burger. It's pretty much on the level of 5 Guys or Smashburger or whatever new burger chain is popping up this week... except these guys have been doing it for over 30 years. I'm from California, so I was surprised to see a Fuddruckers here in NJ. The food is typical American fare, burgers, shakes, fries, but they have some exotic meats. It's a big step up from a McDonald's and the inside is fun for kids. They have arcade games to keep the kids entertained and it's not too loud inside.
