Appropriately 10 minutes from home we pull up to this seemingly small bar restaurant and to be honest, from the neighboring burned shell of a restaurant next door and the need to find parking since the lot was full we almost drove away but the full lot told me that something good was happening inside so in three minutes we found a spot on the main road and walked half a block to the restaurant. I had probably the best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had, Umami Grilled Cheese, frico coated sourdough, birria, cheese, apricot jam and caramelized onions and a side of birria consommé to dip.
