What a fun place. Small candy place that has tons of fudge, various candies, soft serve ice cream, etc. right next to the pond area at High Hill Ranch. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. It's a very cute store that has a very inviting atmosphere. Worth checking out while you may be exploring High Hill.

A candy store plus more! [Apple Hill|Camino CA] When visiting High Hill Ranch in Apple Hill whether you're on the hunt for apple pie and caramel apples don't forget to stop by this chocolate shop. It's on the same property and right next to each other. I love this place. There is a sweet treat for everyone. ~Caramel corn ~30 different flavors of homemade fudge (maybe more!) ~Fresh baked pies ~Homemade jams and sauces ~Freshly made caramel apples! ~Ice cream counter -- ice cream cones and sundaes ~Candy counter -- English toffee, truffles, handmade chocolates... and my all time favorite... milk peanut clusters! Fudge Factory Farm is a seasonal business open from Labor Day through mid-December, 7 days a week, with weekends, of course, the busiest. Mon-Fri they are open 10a to 5p. Try making it up to Apple Hill then for less crowd. Instagram: @fudge_factory_farm Review #3561

I am updating my review to RAVE about the Christmas tree farm! I was looking for a Christmas tree farm that was open on the Monday before Thanksgiving so we could get our tree a little earlier. Most farms open the day after Thanksgiving but Fudge Factory's Christmas trees are available, by appointment, starting mid-November. I was able to book a same day appointment and my family headed up. We were greeted by the super friendly staff and led to the back of the shop to a small hillside with plenty of trees in all different sizes and species. My kids are still pretty little so the smaller farm was ideal for us because they didn't get tired walking around looking for trees. Once we chose our tree, at 15 foot beauty, we called the shop and they sent a staff person to chop down the tree, wrap and load it onto our car. It was like a boutique Christmas tree farm experience! All trees were $100 and also came with 4 pieces of complimentary fudge, any flavor of your choice. Such a great deal! Because we got the tree, we also got to park in the VIP parking close to the farm so we took advantage and hung out at High Hill for a bit and got our Apple Hill goodies. Such a great experience and I highly recommend this tree farm for families with young kids.

This place is not too big inside,  I feel like it's literally a line to go in, look at what you want, and tell them what you like.   Either that or it was just super crowded. It felt that way.       The staff was super nice, and a lot of the chocolates sell out fast.  I got one of each of the limited edition peanut butter cups.  One was apple pie, and the other one was pumpkin pie.  I literally cut it in half to share.  It was sweet but you can tell which was which.  My family loved the peanut brittle.   The fudge sampler was perfect.  You can share or eat all to yourself.

End of season not too many available. Peanut butter and Pumpkin pie

When visiting High Hill don't forget to stop at the Fudge Factory. Always a family favorite stop during the holidays. Staff is always friendly and helpful if you have any questions and if you ask nicely they will even give you a sample. We love the fudge and other candies they offer. This store is alittle small but don't let that stop you as great things come in little packages. We went the 2nd weekend in Dec and they only offered two types of fudge- Pumpkin and Peanut Butter, they were delicious as always. They had a alot of other chocolates, candies, homemade caramel and chocolate available. The Fudge Factory is only open until the 3rd week in December. See you again in September.

Came to the area after wine tasting at Miraflores to find some local goods - in the hunt for a local ornament on the 3rd weekend of December. There's not a lot of vendors unfortunately but the Fudge Factory farm is open. There were a lot of people inside shopping and looking through stuff. They have 25% sale off candies etc My best friend got a bunch of candies - lemon wedges w gelo and dipped in chocolate. They were sampling orange creamsicle fudge and it was BOMB (if you like orange flavor candy). But my eyes were set on caramel apple. I didn't want to eat an uncut apple and to my surprise they have apple wedges drenched in caramel!!!!! I ordered one and added sea salt on it. The entire thing was only $3.50 (bec of the sale maybe?) but let me tell ya.... That sea salt caramel apple wedges was sooooooo good!! The green apple was crunchy, the caramel was perfect and that sea salt was the icing on top. I def recommend it! It's the perfect way to enjoy caramel apple without the mess!

I decided to stop in to purchase some chocolates for a nail video idea and was not left disappointed! They had such a wide selection of drool-worthy goodies and the woman helping me was so sweet and helpful answering all of my questions! I'll review what I purchased below that my boyfriend and I shared! Chocolate and Caramel Fudge~ What a rich, thick and chocolatey fudge, it was absolutely amazing, I loved it! You cannot pass this one up!! Vanilla Chocolate Fudge~ It was very rich, thick and sweet! Dark Chocolate Lemon Drop Truffle~ It was very lemony and sweet! French Dark Chocolate Truffle~ My favorite of all the truffles, so rich and chocolatey!! Seriously, you need this truffle in your life! Midnight Truffle~ I loved the outer chocolate, but didn't personally care for the filling. Chocolate Moose Truffle~ Creamy and sweet, but I preferred the dark chocolates. I would recommend this small local chocolate shop and I'm definitely looking forward to trying more of their goodies our next visit to my favorite spot in Apple Hill, High Hill Ranch! Now is the time to start your Christmas shopping and you cannot go wrong with something sweet!

    Apple slushy
    Mitzi W.

I came back to purchase my frozen pies here and was craving apple cider. They didn't have cider but has an apple cider slushy. Omg. The best ever!!!!!! I bought a jug of cider from another farm so I could make my slushy at home! Of course lots of fudge here but I'm not a fudge person. Bought the rocky road for the husband but he didn't like the peanuts in it. It's a small location but there is no limit to the amount of people they let inside during this pandemic.

Oh FUDGE! Pumpkin, English Toffee, and classic - All were yummy!

Give me fudge or give me nothing at all! Because this fudge is so fudgin' GOOD! Haha... ya see what I did there?! LOVE me some chocolate anything really. While on Apple Hill, I knew that I would have to make a pit stop here to satisfy all of my fudgin' cravings! Okay, okay... I'll stop. I just... I just had to say it one more time! So fudgin' funny! But anyways... don't let the small size of their farm fool you. They got that good good. Oooh yeah, they do! Fudge... in all different colors, shapes, sizes, flavors, forms, concoctions. Everything. And the best part? You can SAMPLE! Mmmm! Although you may be too intimidated to when you see how long the lines are and when the employees are so quick that you won't even know what to do with yourself. But please DO take a moment to sample. You deserve it after waiting in line for it anyways. Aside from fudge, they also have caramel and chocolate dipped apples, chocolate turtles, truffles, bacon bars and caramels. peanut butter cups, ice cream, I could go on? But you must get some of their fudge when you stop by. They have a whole menu full of different flavors too and you can purchase it by the size. I got two pieces of English toffee, one pumpkin and one classic. Each one was super delicious, but my favorite was obviously the English toffee (hence why I got two pieces). The small pieces of fudge are quite tiny but then the size jumps up to a really large piece and it's much pricier. The good thing about buying the little pieces is that it allows you to have several different flavors. The line was pretty long but it moves fast. The staff members are so quick in preparing samples and getting your order together. You have to trek through High Hill Ranch to get here which can be a pain, but if you're already at High Hill you MUST stop here. It's one of my highlights of the ranch in my opinion and if you're a chocolate lover, you'll seriously appreciate this place.

    Traditional caramel apple
    Nicole W.

We come here every year to get our caramel apple fix during the fall. They have a bunch of different flavors and make characters which are super cute for the kids. The only drawback I have is they are so good they are always busy and it's always packed especially when High Hill opens. But this place is worth it and we love the little pond next to it

    =)

The hills have fudge and more!! It's a stop we all enjoy every visit we make up to the hills. Parking is simple if you come during the right time. Employees have been helpful and patience. Having tried thier fudge a few times over the years it has been awesome everytime and they have a great selection available. Obviously my favorite is the mint. They have a great big variety of chocolate items from truffles, fudge, chocolate malt balls, white, milk and dark chocolate candies to more enticing stuff. This store has a lot of mint related items and for that alone i love this spot. Mint fudge, mint crunch malt balls, mint cups, mint and more mints. If your up this way and want more than apples, this is a great stop to shop! They do have have samples of the fudge out, so try some and see how good it is! They do sell it in a few ways, small bite size pieces to a 1/4 lb chunk and if you feel the fudge love by it buy the pound.

    Rocky Road Apple
    Naomi V.

This place has so many different covered apples to choose from. Today I tried their Rocky Road covered Apple! The coating was delicious, but it was difficult to eat. I wish we could've gotten a knife or something to cut it with. Next time, I'll probably order a s'mores Apple, that one sounded good too!

    Fudge

This was on my list of places to stop during my visit to apple hill but I wasn't sure if I would be able to get to all my stops. Luckily, this is on the High Hill Ranch property so it was a 2 for 1! All of the employees were so nice and they have all the candy you could want. Everything we tried was delicious!! Highly recommend: Caramel apple wedges Amaretto fudge Pumpkin pie chocolate cup

What kind of interactions can you have with the alpacas, how much does it cost, and when does it start?

The alpacas are just hanging out in the pasture. Sometimes they will walk up to you. It doesn’t cost anything and we open to the public Labor Day weekend.

Do you have anything sugar free or no sugar added?

YES! When we are open Sept . 1 thru mid December we make a no sugar added apple butter, we also will be making some no sugar added jams. We also have sugar free chocolates such as clusters, gummies, toffee and other candies. We have a new recipe for…

Boa Vista Orchards is a family farm that has many great components, including a bakery, market, cider, wine tasting, hard cider, and lunch. Additionally, it is known for hosting special events throughout the year to keep the general public intrigued. When coming here, I had the opportunity to experience Peach Days. This day featured items such as Fresh Peaches, Peach Lemonade, Peach Ice Cream, Peach Fudge, Peach Pastries and so much more! Everything Peachy! I tried the lemonade and the ice cream, and they were both so refreshing, light, and palatable. Next, I wanted to have lunch. Lunch is served every day with permissible weather from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The menu has a variety of great options like Brisket Sandwiches (Full or Half), Hot Dogs, Cheeseburgers, Black Bean Burgers, etc. I decided to get the Full Brisket Sandwich served with a bag of Lay's Potato Chips. The brisket was so tender and cooked to perfection. The meat was just melting in my mouth - DELICIOUS! With this mouthfeel experience, it was enhanced tremendously when paired with their housemade Apple Chipotle BBQ Sauce (offered at the condiment station). Lastly, the sandwich was big enough that it was satisfyingly filling. At the end of lunch, it was time to try samples. I went to the samples booth and had the Cosmic Crisp Apple, Golden Delicious Apple, Yellow Nectarine, White Nectarine, and Peach Fudge. Followed by this, I shopped around the market. I loved the offerings of the fresh fruits, vegetables, jarred products, etc. I purchased a bag full of White Nectarines, several jars of What'cha Dill Pickles, one big jar of Apple Juice, several personal-sized bottles of Apple Juice, one bottle of Pecan Syrup, and one bottle of the Apple Chipotle Sauce. Overall, Boa Vista Orchards is impressively phenomenal. The entire environment was super inviting with all of the adorable Peach decorations. All of the staff members were friendly and kind. Parking availability was plentiful with three separate parking lots. Whenever I'm in Placerville, I'd totally stop by again! It's worth making a trip to.

We happened to be there for their blackberry days. I tried my friend's blackberry ice cream and enjoyed it. I ordered a blackberry sugar donut and apple sugar donut. Both were good and I liked that they were fluffy. It can get quite busy, but there was plenty of parking.
