3 roles chicken tacos with cheese, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole followed by an ice cold bottle of Mexican Coke. The best coke!

This new tucked away spot at Country Club and Mckellips in Mesa is very clean and has a variety of dishes to choose. Dining room seating and it's attached to a liquor store. I like that breakfast is served all day. I'll be back to try a burrito This time I tried out the 3 rolled tacos 5 out of 5. They are stuffed with chicken and topped with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guacamole I then tried out a birria taco and ramen. This was a 2 out of 5 for me I was looking for that thick rich consommé packed with robust flavor. I'll be back to rate breakfast. If you find yourself in the area stop by and give them a try.

My wife brought home some lunch from a new taqueria down the street, super nice of her. It's in back of the liquor store facing McKellips Rd. A strip mall setting for sure. It has a few tables inside but for majority of the people it's a take out joint. 3 large screens laying out the menu that's easy enough to read. And they have a nice paper menu as well. So the food man! how's the grub? It's definitely decent. 4 star taqueria food. Solid Mexican flavors, everything looks fresh and tastes the same. It's of course new and times a teacher but I'm going back...soon. Service was questionable with some learning to work with the public. If you want a bigger tip be nice to the people buying your products and services. So how was the food man! Its good, everything was eaten up, nice! A pastor burrito, tasty no filler. A few shrimp tacos, rice and black beans. A few rolled chicken tacos for the kiddos. Put into take away containers nicely. Next up for me. Birria ramen and tacos. Last words...let's support these guys.

    So good!

Came here for the carne asada fries and returned for my 3rd time and still not over how good this place is! The name does not lie! Super clean space too!

The food is decent. For the price it's at it's like ehhhh. They sell birria tacos but don't sell consomé on the side or even give it to you for your tacos that come out to almost $10 for 2! The place is clean. Service was alright.

Yum ordered pick up early in the morning and Alejandra took my order, welcomed me with an infectious smile and served us a pastor burrito (pictured) and a California burro. They were both delicious I will definitely be back to try al pastor torta

The food was good until I saw a big ass cockroach underneath the table. This thing was an inch and a half long I spit out my food and left.

Authentic Mexican food sounded perfect and I knew good things were in store when I arrived at 11:30am on a Friday and all of inside and outside tables were full. The inside is quaint but has quite a few tables. They also have tables out front in the shade (to call it patio seating may be a stretch, just simple tables and chairs on the exterior of the entrance). You order your food at the counter and I didn't study the menu ahead of time but the ladies taking my order were patient with me. I ordered a shredded beef taco and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Nothing fancy for my first time as it's hard to golf on a full stomach! I found the only open table and then hit up the salsa bar. They have 4 or 5 different salsas/hot sauces and a few other goodies. I got a small cup of each sauce and all of them were quite good. My food was colorful, flavorful and just the right away to give me some energy without being lethargic. I could go on about a few other nice things but it seems most of East Mesa already knows about this place given the high scores on Yelp from a lot of reviewers. Nothing to prevent me from giving a 5* review at this time. I look forward to trying some more dishes in the future.

Carne asada burrito which came with chipotle cream sauce, carne Asada, and pico. Also beans and we asked for no rice. We both had rice on the side with beans. The burrito was nice and big. The rice was really good. And the beans were mediocre. The burrito was good, except the only bad thing I would say it was a little too greasy, and when you bit into it, all the greasy juice came out. I'm not sure if we would go back maybe, to try something different.

The parking lot outside was parking so we thought we may have to wait, but inside was not busy yet and we were seated immediately. I ordered the smoked chicken enchilada as I saw it was a Yelp favorite and it was delicious. I ended up taking half of it home since we all filled up on chips and salsa before our meal. This restaurant is decorated so cutely. I love how there is a Baja influence with all the surf boards but also southwest appeal. There is plenty of seating and tables for big groups. Even with other people yapping around us, the noise level was perfect to enjoy company. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything tasted amazing and was served fresh and in a timely manner. We will most certainly be back (and you should visit, too!)!

Update: the owner messaged me and told me to buy an entire chicken. Uh, maybe put some chicken in the chicken burrito? Update #2: The owner sure does like to argue with the customer back and forth. Now, he proposed that I order from Chipotle instead since they fail to give customer what one paid for. Update #3: The owner still going back and forth with me and now claiming I did not pay for the burritos. Not really sure what he means by that. But here is the screen shot of 2 burritos ordered via DoorDash. This is just wild.

Got the $30 Plato Campechano between 2 ppl (half chicken, half a pound of Carne, flour and corn tortillas, rice, beans from the pot, salsas, grill jalapeños, guacamole, limes, and radishes). Decent amount of food, although the chicken and carne were both a bit dry. I enjoyed the beans and rice, and the additional accouterments. Overall, good flavor and seasonings, just dry protein. Not sure if that would change on a busier day if fresh food was being pumped out, but would be open to checking this place out again!
