They carry some really beautiful jewelry, a nice selection of clothes, and other gifts (for yourself or someone else). The jewelry always catches my eye and I found some really nice earrings and other pieces, but what really caught my eye was this awesome bracelet. It is rather dainty and has some small gemstones in it--the one I chose has multiple stones, but they also had a garnet one that I considered as well. What's particularly cool and unique about the bracelet is the closure system. It doesn't have a traditional (or even non-traditional) clasp; instead it has a bolo closure. I know that there are bolo bracelets but I've never seen it on a piece with gemstones. Since this was my first stop of the day in this shopping trip, I decided not to go too hog wild in here though they had several things that I could have taken home with me. The parking right in front is rather sparse, but there is street parking along the various streets nearby for all the shops here.

A few days ago, my Son and I were hanging out in Beaverton, and he suggested that we pay a visit to the Uwijimaya Japanese grocery store, which has a small-ish Kinokuniya Bookstore situated within the back corner. After escaping the tractor beam of the grocery store's extensive Saki selection, we make our way over to the bookstore. We found the usual contained within: manga, magazines, Totoro, and of course notebooks, lots of pens, and various other unique office supplies. The stationary section is mostly contained in the last 3 rows of which I wandered repeatedly. My Son finally told me that time was up, and so I reluctantly checked out within the store with just a cool campus spiral notebook and a cheap olive-inked ballpoint. I could have gone for more, and I will during a future visit.
