    Ribeye steak (16 oz.)
    Magda M.

Great Argentinian restaurant in West Kendall. My daughter and I ordered Ribeye Steak (16oz), Rustic Potatoes, and a Mediterranean Salad. The steak and salad were good. The rustic potatoes were excellent. Overall, highly recommend and will be back.the service was great and the place looks very inviting.

For my grandmother's birthday we decided to book dinner at Fuegos Del Sur located on Kendall Drive. The cuisine here is Argentinian and with very affordable prices. Our waitress was amazing very warm and was very quick with our orders. We ordered the grilled meat platter which included grilled chicken, steak, sausages and blood sausage. It came with two sides so we ordered double rice. The meats were cooked well done but with very little seasoning. For the kids we ordered a cheese pizza, which was standard and satisfied them. For dessert we ordered the Alfajor Fuegos which is their version of molten chocolate cake with dulce de leche. We had a good time but I wished the food had more flavor.

I came with a party of 7. The food and service was great. Lost one star because the menu is incorrect. The choripan only comes with fries.

Certainly, here's a revised review: I had the pleasure of dining at Fuegos Del Sur in Kendall, and I must say, the experience was outstanding. The food was not only delicious but also truly authentic, which was particularly meaningful for me as I'm half Argentinean. The service provided by Maye was exceptional, and I can confidently say that she went above and beyond on both of my visits. Her warm personality and wonderful recommendations added a special touch to our dining experience. What made it even more memorable was that we were celebrating both my birthday and my daughter's. The entire staff at Fuegos Del Sur is welcoming and friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious food and exceptional service. You will love the food and the sangria! Our family loves this place.

Dinner on a Sunday evening. Made a reservation although not needed but glad I did. The place was packed. I needed space for a stroller and high chair and they nicely accommodated. The calamari appetizer was good. My milanesa was very good and my requested side of sliced tomatoes and lots of lemon was just the perfect accompaniment. The entraña steaks were good and so was the spinach ravioli. I wish the complimentary bread was toasted but the second round was, at our request. Our server, Serena was outstanding; professional, kind, and always there when needed. Desert of panqueques con dulce de leche were very good and the tiramisu like desert (forgot the name) was very tasty. Even the child portion fettuccine Alfredo was delicious. I wish the ambience was a little less cafeteria style seating, but other than that we had a nice tasty dinner. I highly recommend.

    Braised beef empanadas - delicious

Came here with family, party of 10+. We had a great experience. The service was awesome, servers were very pleasant, patient and helpful. The food was very good but the sides were meh. I tried - Empanada (braised beef) - top five best empanadas I've ever had. They were so good. The server recommended we get them fried instead of baked and i think it was the right choice. They were packed with flavorful ground beef, they didn't skimp out whatsoever on the protein which I can always appreciate. 5/5 ($4 each) Vacío - 10 oz angus flap steak with one side. This was very good. Cooked perfectly with a nice char on the outside and perfectly medium rare inside. I was very pleased. The only gripe I had was the steak felt smaller than 10 oz... but it was a good quality cut. I chose the rustic potatoes for my side which were honestly mid but looked nice visually. 4.5/5 ($29) I also had their calamari, which calamari is calamari but theirs is definitely very good, fresh and flavorful. Tried some of their milanesa which was actually exceptionally good, I would probably order that for a future visit. Dessert - Alfajor Fuegos - Walnut Browni Dough, dulce de leche cream, dulce de leche, semi-sweet chocolate. Wow this was insanely good and I'm not even big on chocolate. Tried all of their desserts and they were all good but this was the standout for sure. 5/5 ($8) This spot is awesome. Excellent service, great food and nice atmosphere. Wish it were closer, I would be in here all the time. I really appreciate how kind and patient the staff were with my family. I will definitely comeback next time I'm in the area.

While doing errands at Town & Country Mall I found Fuegos del Sur via Yelp search for lunch. Parking was easy and we were seated right away. Our app was provoleta (grilled cheese) which was rich gooey and perfectly seasoned and went well with provided bread for dipping. The 10 oz. Flank steak (Vacio) was a great value. It was served sizzling on a platter, was cooked perfectly, and was next level tender I probably could have cut it with a butter knife! Chimichurri sauce on the side was the perfect accompaniment to the meat. For my side, I had a generous bowl of mixed vegetables also served piping hot. I take off 1 star as my Pisco Sour was undersized and just not as good as I was expecting for $16, and also neither the hostess or server spoke English which made it a bit difficult to communicate for me. They were however very friendly. Overall, I would recommend going to Fuegos Del Sur as the steak was one of the best I've had lately.

    Vacío steak. Ordered rare

Bill for 2 kids 2 adults : $150 with tip Service: Very good. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Ambiance: Desirable. simple and not too loud. Food: Ordered: Sausage and blood sausage. 6/10 Fried gnocchi: 5/10 Filet mignon 1/10 (absolutely disgusting)- not at term. Not well seasoned. Drowned in wine. Vacío steak. 4/10. Not cooked to requested term. Over-salted on 1 side of the steak. Bland on the other half. Pizza: for the kids (8/10). Overall, what really killed this experience was the food. I would strongly suggest an evaluation/quality control of the food being served. Would not recommend or return.

Entraña and vacio both were exquisite.
    Jorge P.

Always on the lookout for a good steak, glad we found this venue. The portions where generous we had the Vacio and the Entraña both where cooked exactly as we ordered them. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The venue was clean and appealing. Not very budget friendly but Overall a very nice place for a date night.

my family and I were looking for something to eat in the area and we stumbled across fuegos del sur. We had a the provoleta, calamari and a variety of meats and sides. The flap steak wasn't my favorite, I would definitely get more picanha if I were to eat here again, it was excellent. All in all everything was good and a great value for the price. It wasn't busy at all but could be because they are fairly new. If you're a meat lover this place is for you!

Overall a great concept. The service was exceptional I can't complain there. We ordered the parrillada for 2 which came with steak, chicken , pork, morcilla, and sausage. I couldn't help the taste of grease, the morcilla was like biting into a casing of grease. The pork was slightly chewy, the steak was chewy, and I hate to leave bad reviews on the food but if you're going to be an Argentinian restaurant you need to bring your "A" game! The ambiance was a bit bland and since it's a fairly new restaurant I'll say they are probably working on giving the space some character. Overall not a terrible experience, with a little tweaking they will be great! Competition in the area is tough you need to step it up.

The meat in the parrillada was tough and tasteless. The worst I have ever had in an Argentinian restaurant. The desserts were good.

Driving down Kendall Dr., I noticed El Toro Loco and, having been to several of their other locations, figured it was a safe bet as Toro Loco never disappoints. This location, at Kendall Dr. and SW 105 Ave, sits in a small shopping center where most of the businesses are closed at night, so parking was plentiful and stress-free. The restaurant itself is fairly new, very clean, and features the same consistently nice décor you expect from other Toro Loco locations. It wasn't too busy, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hostess was very friendly and let us choose our own table before walking us over. Our server (I wish I remembered her name) was knowledgeable, attentive, and extremely helpful, especially when it came to selecting our steaks. We started with the manchego croquette appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. Of course, we couldn't forget the two ice-cold Toro Loco beers, which were perfect. For our main course, we ordered the 1-lb Prime Entraña (outside skirt) Wagyu steak, which happened to be 20% off on Mondays, a great bonus. The entrée came with a salad and two sides; I chose the garlic rice and tostones. My steak was cooked medium-rare, exactly as ordered, and was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Even though the portions were generous, I hadn't eaten all day, so we decided to share dessert. We went with the Torreja, and all I can say is OMG... amazing. A perfect way to end the meal. Overall, we had a fantastic dinner with excellent service and truly enjoyed what could have been a quiet Monday night at home. Instead, it turned into a great dining experience. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to this location soon. Highly recommended!

Looking back, I couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the evening. When we arrived, there was a huge line of people waiting, which is usually a sign that something special is happening inside. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess with a beautiful smile who assured us the wait would only be about 30 minutes. We decided to grab a couple of seats at the bar while we waited, and that's when the evening started feeling extra special. The bartender welcomed us with a smile and the very first words out of his mouth were, "Happy Birthday!" To this day, I'm not sure how he knew, but it immediately made me feel welcomed and appreciated. We enjoyed glasses of the house red wine, a wonderful Ribera del Duero from Spain, and shared an order of beef croquettes that were absolutely amazing. True to their word, about 30 minutes later, the bartender personally escorted us to our table. Our server, Iliana, introduced herself and quickly became one of the highlights of our visit. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our experience memorable. We shared the 12-ounce Denver Wagyu steak and the 12-ounce lechón asado, accompanied by moros, plátanos maduros, and tostones. Every dish arrived fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. The quality of the food was outstanding from start to finish. Just when I thought the evening couldn't get any better, the staff surprised me by bringing out a flaming pineapple while singing Happy Birthday. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration feel even more special. Inside the pineapple was a Crema Catalana that was simply incredible and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. What impressed me most wasn't just the food, it was the people. From the hostess, to the bartender, to Iliana, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. The restaurant was spotless and beautifully decorated, and for a few hours I felt like I had been transported back to Spain instead of being in Miami. A heartfelt thank you to Erika B for planning such a wonderful evening and to the entire Carnicero team for making my birthday celebration one I'll remember for a long time. Great food, exceptional service, and a warm atmosphere made for a truly unforgettable Friday night. I highly recommend Carnicero and look forward to returning soon.

As an entree I enjoyed the churrasco medium well, they cooked it exactly as ordered. My friends had the New York strip and churrasco as well and they really enjoyed it. Another item that was amazing was the truffle fries, they layer shredded manchego cheese on top which just makes it that much better. For the dessert we ordered the pineapple filled with crema de catalana. It had compressed pineapple, orange-pineapple gelato and an orange zest. It honestly tasted like I was having an orange dream bar. I enjoyed it very much. They bring it out all extravagantly with dry ice so it's smoking. The vibes of this restaurant are very rustic chic, they really set the vibe for an amazing dining experience. You've got to check them out if you're in Kendall.
