I recently discovered this place when looking for something different in my neighborhood. Everything about it was appealing to me so off we went. The ambiance and service were good. Service was a little slow in coming it the table but when they did, they were attentive and gracious. We ordered a bottle of Malbec and the provoleta (highly recommend). For entree, we ordered the parrilla with a side of mashed potatoes and the patatas (sweet potato fries at an extra cost). The meats on the parilla were overcooked and under seasoned. Still tasty but not at the level we expected. The sides were fine. Overall, I was underwhelmed by the meat. I'm willing to try another visit and possible order something else. Very good neighborhood restaurant. The decoration when you walk in is very nice and welcoming. We ordered some Sangria which were very good and we shared a parilla argentina. The meat was very flavorful and was cooked the way it was requested. It comes with a salad which was nothing special and mashed potatoes which were very yummy. We stopped by this past sunday for an early dinner. We didn't have a reservation and were pleased to be seated without a wait, they had many open tables. Our server was great, she was very welcoming & thorough with explaining the menu and their specials. My mother in law, a hard critic, LOVED their Sangria. Their panqueque relleno de dulce & helado casero was amazing, this is a must try. We were very pleased with our dishes & hope to return to try their steaks. What a wonderful hidden gem! We had a wonderful time at Moo celebrating our friends birthday. The space itself is beautifully decorated and we loved the playlist they had on! There is a good sized wine list which Jessy helped us navigate to find the perfect bottle to accompany our tomahawk and rib eye. Our meats were cooked to perfection. Came here on the first week of April with my father to give this a shot as it's in the area. The business name and reviews look intriguing . Moo. Lol. Gotta say it's a very surprising restaurant nestled into this no big deal strip mall. Going inside at 6pm on a weekday was surprising since there was at least 1 table of patrons already and by the time we left. The place was almost packed! Why? Well there is live music that will be performing (but they were running about 1 hour late, glad fully for me as didn't want it to be loud). They have a small area to perform so I guess it's a duet? Anyway, I digress. The interior is very cozy, the seats are the most amazing comfortable seats I have sat on in my life (leather?). The staff super nice and accommodating. Onto the food. Appetizer: Mojellas Asados. Be sure to tell them you only want them and nothing else! The appetizer on menu comes with potatoe and green limometa. Don't get that. Only ask for the Mollejas grilled and be sure to ask for Lemons. Not limoneta Verde. They were delicious!!! The main. Ok we were super intrigued by their quality of meats on menu, so much so that we ordered the Ribeye "El Argentino". Amazing 2 lbs of meat imported from Argentina. Holy crap this thing was ultra flavorful and comes out sizzling on a very hot cast iron plate and keeps it warm for a lonnng time. Oh before freaking out about it being 2lbs, note that there will be a lot of gristle and fat to cut around. So maybe you'll get about a little more than 1 lbs. A little more maybe like 1lb and a quarter(?) of pure heaven tasting meat. But wait it gets oh so much better! They also pair it with one of their special spice blends that has bacon infused into it. Wonderful flavor that combines smokey savory and earthy. OMG and they'll give you more upon request!. Please do try it. Happy tongue happy life. To pair with this beautiful steak, we ordered fries, and they were a good quality. To drink, this meat deserved a good Malbec and was very nice! Lastly back to the service. They gave you a fresh knife, fork and plate for appetizer and again clear it off for another fresh knife fork and plate for the main course! A very nice touch and very nice utensils. I wanted to stop by and try out a different Argentinian restaurant with my mom since she loves steak. I have to say that it was a good experience. Came here with my whole fam. We were seated immediately since I had made a reservation. The waitress took some time to come and see us. We finally asked who was our waiter and less than five minutes later she came by and introduced herself. She apologized profusely stating that she as unaware we were going to be her next table. I am cool with human error especially since the service afterwards was exceptional. She was extremely attentive. We had most of all the steak cuts they had and they were all good especially for the price. It was a lot of food and I was happy to say it was great. The kids ate a lot and that's always positive. My wife had filet mignon, and my son and I had the Argentinian Ribeye (they didn't have the Wagyu ribeye.) Again, disappointment; both cuts of meat were not to par, lacking taste. I just want to say all we eat is beef in our household so I would say we are meat lovers and I am Argentinian myself. Visiting from Texas and saw this had great reviews so came to try it out. For the price I would NOT RECOMMEND this place. Came here for my bday dinner (what a waste) and the only thing decent was the picaña. Meat was thin over cooked and wayyy too chewy. If you know about meat you would know you need to take off the silver skin before cooking it, and they unfortunately left it on which made it impossible to take off to eat once it was cooked. Service was ok not bad not good. I would recommend going to wild fork cooking it yourself and saving some money. read more

Let me start by saying that this area needed a place like this!!! It's been a long time since I've been impressed by a restaurant. They gave us 2 glasses of sangria and 4 meat empanadas complimentary. I was expecting a cheap sangria but it was actually really good and the empanadas were delicious too. My family and I ordered several items to share. The pumpkin soup with so interesting and delicious. The provoleta had tomato on top that was perfect. We also order the short rib, pulpo and skirt steak. I don't like short rib because of the fat but it was good. My husband loved it. The steak was delicious and tender. And the pulpo was the star of the night. I've tried pulpo in so many restaurants and it's always chewy and over seasoned. This one was perfect. Bravo to the chef. Our sides were rice, French fries and salad. All delicious. The salad was very unique and matched perfectly with the rest of the meal. To drinks, we ordered a Pinot noir that was very good. And for dessert, the marscapone ice cream was DELICIOUS. The only two tips I can give the chef is that the soup should have been hotter. It has cold spots which is a shame because it was so tasty. Also, for the ice cream, I would have liked more strawberries and more merengue. We will definitely be back and tell everyone about it. The service was great and ambiance was also lovely. From our fabulous and attentive waitress, Jessy, to the most delicious meats, I couldn't have had a better experience or meal. The rack of lamb and chorizo were amazing!! And the octopus!! Wow!! Moo, is close and convenient to order from however I will disclaim I'm a harsh critic and not basing my review solemnly on take out (of which is hands down worth every penny)... however after dinning in person and picking up takeout a couple times (including today)... I felt Moo deserves my time to rate as a 5 star restaurant. The restaurant is clean, presentable, always busy when I go and the wait times are very reasonable for takeout. The service is exceptional, every person I've dealt with has always brought my order out timely and fresh. The quality of the food is excellent and cooked as ordered (I usually order the parrillada with an assortment of sides). The price is reasonable for what you get. I am very satisfied with the food, service and overall atmosphere. It is clear this restaurant is very well run and I wish it continued success.
