The charcuterie boards here are perfection, do not sleep on it and be sure to savor the onion jam. That said, one of my favorite things to get is the roasted root vegetable plate, that combo with the yogurt and honey is some fine dining action, though you should absolutely skip adding the sausage. Getting a flight is usually the way I go, but then I often end up getting a full glass of my favorite from there. Such a gem in DTC and I hope it stays forever!

This is a great place for after work happy hour in a casual ambiance. I came here for birthday…read moredrinks with my family before we headed to dinner nearby. The location has a spacious area filled with a variety of wine options. I picked a Bourgogne Chardonnay from France ($36). We came on a late Monday afternoon and, lucky for us, they have a bar special on Mondays: No corkage fee! They also have Happy Hour-- Monday to Friday from 3-6pm. The Chardonnay was divine! I would totally return and purchase another bottle. We also ordered a charcuterie board and took advantage of their happy hour special for $20 (pick two-- one cheese and one meat). We opted for the 'Humboldt Fog' Chèvre as our cheese option and the Bresaola for our meat option. Both were delicious, but the chèvre was truly exquisite. We shared one charcuterie board with five people and it was enough; however if you're on the hungry side, I suggest two charcuterie boards for five or six people. In addition to meat and cheese, it comes with crackers, some pickled veggies, onion jam, candied nuts, whole grain Dijon, and apple slices. On the left side of the venue you have your variety of wine options; on the right side, there's the bar and some tables, plus a small area with other snacks for purchase that pair nicely with wine or beer. They even sell the Torres truffle chips! My only complaint is the service, unfortunately. The lady at the cashier was super friendly, however the bar tender was not so welcoming. When he came over to our table to open our wine bottle, he didn't greet us, smile, or say anything. He took our bottle and opened it and then asked who was going to taste. Not sure if he thought we didn't speak English since we were speaking another language when he came to our table, but overall, we all noticed his attitude and thought it was rather unwelcoming. Because of this experience, I rate this place a 4/5, however, everything else was great!

1010 Wine and Events was absolutely perfect!…read more My husband and I visited for the first time last night, and it was the perfect spot for date night. I ordered "The Meaty Vegan" over a salad with a side of fries, and he got the New York strip steak. The food was incredibly flavorful and seasoned to perfection. Next time, I definitely want to try "Islands Collide" when it's back in stock! We were greeted right away for our 6:45 PM reservation, and I am so glad we booked ahead. The place filled up incredibly fast--before I even finished my second glass of wine, it was an absolute full house. The ambiance was top-tier, complete with a live DJ. Unbeknownst to us, it was R&B and Soul Music Bingo night, and the jam was jamming! The entire vibe was beautifully Black-owned and vibrant. Our server, Alexandria W., was incredibly professional, friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and proactive. Despite there being only two servers for an entirely packed house, you would never know it because they remained so cool, collected, and unfazed. Everyone was well taken care of, and the room was filled with great spirits. There were two large parties celebrating, and the energy was so welcoming it felt like we were a part of the fun even though we weren't. The entire establishment, including the restrooms, was pristine. We opted for valet, which was clutch since I was wearing heels. I even noticed a single woman get approached by a gentleman at the bar--this truly is a wonderful space for couples, groups, friends, and singles alike. We look forward to visiting again soon! Love that this gem is in Inglewood.

I ended up finding a spot on the street which is rare. They have a really extensive selection of Black owned wines and the food is always delicious. On my last visit I met a friend here for brunch and it was a vibe from the moment I walked in! We sat at the bar, there was a DJ and lots of dancing, eating and drinking! I decided to go with the bottomless mimosas... they have a variety of flavors and they keep them coming. Service was amazing, our bar tender was attentive and also added to the party atmosphere. I also ordered the chicken and waffles... the 3 large chicken wings were seasoned just right and crispy and was a perfect compliment to the waffle! Everyone was enjoying their Sunday Funday! Very much day party vibes. There were also kids there... not sure if it's really kid friendly but they seemed to have a good time too, lol.

The melty cheesy, flavorful sauce and toppings against the crispy crust made it super delicious. The downside is the pizza gets cold by the time you eat a second slice and you just crave experiencing what you had earlier. It is a bit difficult to have an intimate private conversation because the acoustics of the room made the music and conversations around echo. But if you're looking for the louder party vibe it's great! Super friendly staff as well, would recommend if you're in the arts district.

There is now a sign on the building, but it reminds me more of an Italian restaurant than a winery. Still not the easiest place to find, as there is no signage at either driveway to let you know you're there, and it's located behind the SC Fuels gas station, in the back of a large parking lot of an industrial complex. Once again, Katarina poured for us and provided us with some info on the new releases. The wines are consistently good, and I highly recommend that you spend the extra $5 for the wine and cheese pairing. I got to the shop ahead of my friend and asked the lady at the register if I could purchase two wine tastings and that one would be for a member. She said that she could not look up my friend's name and that she would have to pay in order to get the discount. So rather than letting me do a nice thing before she arrives I have to now wait for my girlfriend to show up. As I was walking away, the gal then asked me for her name, which wouldn't that go to prove that she is a member and wouldn't that have allowed me to purchase the two tastings? She even said "I'm sorry to be annoying" to which I replied yes, that is very annoying. The woman doesn't have much flexibility, obviously and says that people try to take advantage of the discount by saying their friend is a member.... Blah blah blah. The whole thing in general just doesn't make any sense. Don't be annoying, especially on a relaxing Sunday. The discount is what, a dollar or two!? Just look up the name and ask her when she arrives if she is who I said she was. Beyond f-ing annoying and bad customer service. Will be suggesting in the future to go down the street to Hi-Lo or somewhere else entirely.
