**THROWN OUT & BANNED FOR REQUESTING HOT FRIES!!** It sucks…read moreto write this cuz we've eaten here repeatedly and had a wonderful experience BUT that ended tonight in the most bizarre way possible; so insane in fact I thought the staff was performing a bit. For context, we request "hot, fresh fries" with our basic burger meals b/c they've come out lukewarm before. But tonight, we were BANNED FROM FREDDY'S (potentially all locations, the staff was unclear) because the nameless "higher ups" or A.I. have declared that "all fries are made fresh to order," and any request that contradicts the propaganda of the Stateburger will result in immediate perma-bans! Making this request at In & Out (still king) Wendy's, ChickFilA, Cane's or literally anywhere else results in a smile and a "you got it!" Freddy's by contrast tells its regular customers who have patronized the franchise for years, & spend at least $60 per visit usually once a week on 3 burger combos & at least 2 custard desserts to GET OUT passive aggressively saying "I'm NOT throwing you out, just asking you to leeeave!" amidst wildly unclear explanations as to why we're essentially being accused of theft. They should rename the franchise to Jack Boot Burger. Why is Freddy's is so allergic to money and good will, they'd throw it all away for fries they were making anyway? Remember friends, "Freddy's fries are always hot, even when they're NOT." The ambiance is cute.

Friendly staff and they have outdoor seating well its too hot now. Parking is challenging or you can just park in the parking structure. Its located at Victoria Gardens.

Duck Donuts does offer vegan donuts, which is awesome, but heads up, you have to order a minimum of…read morea half dozen to get the vegan batter made. I was told they keep it in a separate dough hopper to avoid cross contamination, which is great, but it also means they won't make just one or two. It's a half dozen minimum, and it takes about 20 minutes since they're made fresh and separately from the regular batch. Once mine came out, they were warm and satisfying, not quite as fluffy as the regular donuts, but still a solid treat. Most of the coatings and toppings are vegan too, just skip anything with Nutella or a dairy based coating, so you've still got plenty of options to customize. A couple of flavors I went with were cinnamon sugar and a maple glaze with walnuts and enjoyed both. On a less positive note, they have a claw machine game near the entrance that took my money and never actually worked properly. I tried to find someone on site to help, but no one seemed to be able to do anything about it, and I've had a hard time getting a hold of anyone since to get it resolved. If you're going to have one of these machines in your store, someone should be able to actually help when it eats a customer's money. Staff at the counter were friendly and made sure to double check which toppings were vegan. Just know before you go, call ahead to confirm the location carries vegan batter that day, and be ready to commit to a six donut minimum and a short wait. 4 out of 5. Donuts were good, but the claw machine situation knocked off a star.
