I initially used this moving company about 5 weeks ago and I called the owner back two weeks ago for a small job. Don't believe that no job is too small, as he states on his website. He wanted to charge me the going rate, even though there was no assembling or disassembling, and only one bedroom set to move. Not calling him ever again! PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE AND DO NOT CONTRACT THIS COMPANY !! I would have loved to leave a good review, but regretfully hiring this company was disappointment. To move 23 miles I've paid $ 2000. I wanted peace of mind that all our things arrive in good condition and if anything happens, have the company's insurance as a backup. When you opened one of the boxes, the frame was broken. (Luckily the paint was ok, $ 5000 value and brought in from outside of the US) The insurance asked me to budget first. I had been recommended this company for working with high-value paintings. The price given was $420. (I paid more the first time, so a fair value ) After several emails, back and forth, and lots of time lost in conversations, I was told the insurance will cover $ 3.9. Yes! I thought it was a joke !! The insurance mentioned that to have the corresponding coverage, an inventory had to be made. NO ONE MENTION THIS! WHY ? Probably because if the insurance covers what corresponds, the insurance premium the next year is going to be higher for Mr. Pedro. IF YOU CARE YOUR THINGS, DO NOT CONTRACT THIS COMPANY. Life savers! Booked at the last minute, affordable, trustworthy and professional. I'll never use another moving company ever again!!

So I have moved a couple times and by far this was my best experience regarding the team sent to do the work! They were synchronized and kept On moving without wasting any time. Very professional! They made sure every piece of furniture was well wrapped. Although along the way some drawers fell while carrying and lost two screwdrivers from my tools which I noticed once I started hanging stuff on the walls, I understand it wasn't negligence, sometimes $hit just happens... The only downpart nowadays from moving companies is their charge per hour!!! I estimated three hours max for a 2/2 apt. They get there on time, they move pretty fast, I moved just two blocks away...and so I thought it was my lucky day because they sent four men when the actual contract was settled for three, everything seemed pretty easy piecey, but boy was I wrong!!! My bed didn't want to give in the assembly nor reassemble and cost me 1 1/2 hours more for what I was prepared for... Overall I will recommend them and use them again taking some precautions furniture wise!!!:) read more

I could not have asked for better people/service or outcome. While in TN, I called the moving service. Expecting to hear someone say "Fuentes moving company", but got "Hello". i wondered if I called the correct number. I explained I would be driving an Uhaul & I was a little leery about the entire move, but Mr. Fuentes was very courteous and reassuring on the phone. I asked for an email confirmation of our appointment conversation at my Condo in Miami. I was given his cell # to text my email address. I promptly received the confirmation, verbatim, what we discussed. A few days & thousand miles later, I show up in Miami around 10am. View my Condo, now, keys in hand. So I have time to kill. my moving appointment is at 2pm. I get a phone call from Mr. Fuentes, confirming our appointment around 11am. He said his guys will be at my Condo early. I said perfect, because I was already in town. He asked if his guys could start earlier and I said let me check on the elevator reservation & ill call back. With Condo approval, Fuentes Moving was at the Condo about 30min later. They directed me backing the Uhaul into the tight space, then these guys went at it. Very cheerful, joking, telling me about the area, it was like hanging with some young friends. Im 43, in shape, and thought I'd get some exercise and help & a few times they were like "give me that, we got it", lol. They put things that were labeled in their proper rooms, threw away any debris, help me put together my sectional....These guys were awesome! They were done at 1:45. I had the elevator reserved 2-5. The early move allowed 2 other tenants to use the service elevator. Win, win, win! I highly recommend these guys, they were the total package. read more

Fuentes moving was an excellent pick for our company's big move!!! They definitely delivered!! After weeks of searching for a professional and economic company, we finally found Fuentes! They were prompt to come to our site for an instant quote, and a fantastic quote at that! The fact that they were local Miami movers made the process much more personal for us, and our needs. The owner Pedro was very patient with our company, as we continued to change our move date due to the Cable company not confirming a final installation date. When our Saturday move date finally arrived, they were at the move site before us, and ready to work! Four men where present to wrap all of our furniture, making sure to note any scratches and dents prior to the wrapping and removal of the items. Once at our new facility, the movers organized all of our items where we wished. The staff was very friendly and kept smiles on their faces throughout. The move that other companies had estimated would take over 8 hours, was completed by Fuentes Moving in a little over 5 hrs. Fuentes Moving was amazing! They took care of essentially a three-part move for my boyfriend and I in which we started in Brickell at one apartment, continued onto another apartment in Aventura and moved everything into a house in Aventura. The three men that did the job were timely, professional, and extremely hard working. They were very careful with a couple pieces of furniture that are fragile and we were worried about and everything arrived in one piece. We moved from Miami to Crystal River (Citrus County) yesterday and all I can say is: Do NOT use anyone else in Miami...USE Fuentes Moving in Miami ONLY. I got a quote from Pedro over a month ago, but then my hubby told me that 'he' could move everything on his own by renting a U-Haul and not using a moving company. Seven days before our move, my hubby told me that he just couldn't do it so I called up Pedro of Fuentes Moving. He managed to fit me in for the move on Sunday (yesterday) - after giving him short notice. He literally booked me for a move 4 days after my 911 phone call to him AND kept the same low price he had originally given us. Pedro had initially impressed me by coming to my home right away and quoting me and handing me a written quote. His pricing was phenomenal compared to the other moving companies in Miami. Pedro hooked us up with a 26' Truck and 3 burly men (all kind and attentive to our needs) to move us. The Fuentes moving team arrived ON TIME yesterday and, considering it's a 4 bedroom home with garage, they loaded up all our items very carefully and efficiently. They also offered a packing service which was very low priced but we opted to pack our items on our own. In hindsight, having them pack up everything would've been well worth the money (and the time and exhaustion we've gone through these weeks) AND they would've done it in ONE day. Pedro's crew loaded up all our furniture and multitude of boxes in record time and they (and my hubby) took off to Crystal River (an almost 5 hour trek via Turnpike) at the same time. What further amazed my hubby is that he only beat Pedro's crew to Crystal River by 10 minutes whereas he was thinking that he'd have to wait some time for their arrival. The Fuentes Moving team then unloaded everything carefully and efficiently. My hubby gave each of the men a generous tip for their phenomenal service and we are incredibly happy this morning that everything was done: painless for us and so very efficient...by Fuentes Moving Miami. First time using any moving company and had a great experience. Last time I tried to use movers with another company they quoted me one price and right before the move called me saying it was going to be $350 more then the original quote. Fuentes moving honored the first quotes which was a great price. Once they came over I had a couple of extra things that I failed to let them know of originally and they moved it without charging extra or complaining. Hired Fuentes for a move from Miami to Gainesville. Two guys with a truck arrived on time and got my 2 BR apt loaded up in one hour, then were exactly on time for delivery at my new place. All furniture pieces were wrapped in plastic and boxes were handled carefully. Cost was very reasonable considering the distance of the move, priced almost exactly in between the cheapest and most expensive options. Hello everyone I gave Fuentes moving a 3 star. Not because they were rude or didn't work. They did. They were actually at the house 30 min before. Move went great everyone was helpful. But I had three damaged items which includes my two dressers and dining table. Just bought those about two to three months before the move. Got them at Macy's so we know that wasn't cheap. Anyway I hired Fuentes moving for the move everything was fine till we got to the new house. First of all they didn't wrap my furniture with the heavy cloths but rather with a nylon tight wrap they used to keep the drawers tight. Which was good. But I wish they would have used the cloths because if my furniture would have had the heavy cloths they would have never gotten damaged. You can't just buy a marker and color over the damage and glue things back like I was told to do. So of course my wife was pissed and very upset. I called the manager Pedro who was helpful and tried to resolve the problem by sending it to a furniture company he knows. But we all know it will never be same. Which sucks but it's ok. Would I use them again maybe. But only if those cloths are used to protect my things like I thought they would be. read more

In a land of laughably bad customer service and scarce professionalism, I was surprised that hiring a mover need not be like pulling teeth. Pedro responded to my online quote within minutes and scheduled an appointment for me the next day on short notice. Even more shocking is that movers showed up precisely on time. They were courteous and professional the whole time and worked quickly and efficiently. Seems simple enough but we all know how some businesses can't even get the basics right anymore. These guys are amazing. I was so stressed out about last minute move and my lack of preparation for it- I booked Pedro's guys the day before my move and it was the best decision. I had an excellent experience with Fuentes Moving. The manager Pedro was very communicative, their prices reasonable, and the workers arrived on time and were very nice guys. They were quick and efficient but still took care with my furniture. The only bad thing is that they seemed to take their time more with the delivery into the storage unit, but of course, everyone gets a little tired. I can say enough great things about the movers and owner of Fuentes Moving. They were on time (actual 15 minutes early), exceptionally professional as well as personable, and I would highly recommend them without any reservations. I needed movers to help me move many items and boxes from a self-storage locker near the University of Miami because I had been injured. I called the owner, Pedro from out of town, who I did not know, simply based on the website, which especially appealed to me because it was family owned business. Pedro was terrific in ensuring me that everything would go smoothly. I couldn't have asked for a better crew that knew exactly what to do and how to negotiate parking near my daughter's dorm despite the fact that it was move-in day for all of the upper class students. Highly recommend Fuentes Moving. The movers arrived 45 minutes early and asked if we were ready. Since we were, they got started right away. There were three gentlemen, very friendly and professional. Everything was wrapped with plastic. I was very impressed with their speed, yet everything was packed safely. They managed to disassemble furniture ( go down stairs of a townhouse) , pack the truck, drive to the new house, unpack truck and assemble and place the furniture in 2 hours and 15 minutes. Everything exceeded my expectations. Very happy with the service. My one constructive criticism is that I asked if they accepted credit card when I made the appointment and they told me they did. The day of the move they asked if I could pay in cash. I didn't have cash on me so I had to go to the bank. Not a huge deal but I would have had the cash already in hand if they had told me before. So clarify the payment method. They did such a good job however, that it does not affect my 5 star rating. read more
