Fuentes Movers was awesome & totally affordable! $400 for 3 hours with the truck & 3 guys, and $100 for each additional hour. I moved from Miami Beach to Palm Beach, and since I had packed up everything except the furniture, we were able to do the move in the minimum 3 hours- so fast! The guys were great, and I would totally recommend Fuentes movers to anyone moving any time soon. They'll get the job done, and they won't break the bank! Just keep in mind that they could arrive a little earlier than your scheduled time- we ended up starting the moving @ 8:10 am instead of 9 am . Who ever heard of anyone being early in Miami? PLEASE BEWARE...So about a month ago I moved to a new apartment. And I used a moving company named FUENTES MOVING CORP. the service seemed perfect. I spoke with the owner set up a time and a date and then 3 guys came and were kind fast and efficient. Little did I know that one of the guys that had wrapped (black wrapping plastic) a medium plastic container FILLED with coins(lots of quarters) for it to be "safer" during the move, didn't do it for that reason but instead did it so he could steal it. Initially I didn't contact the company because I wanted to make sure I unpacked every single box before making a claim like this. So after a week of unpacking EVERY SINGLE BOX I called and informed the owner of this issue. His response? Maybe you didn't look good enough. It has to be there. He said he was willing to come and help me look for it even after several times of me explaining that it wasn't. Then he said he will get back to me and he never did. THIS IS NOT what you expect after spending 350 dollars plus TIP for 2 hours of service. For somebody to steal your money like that. I'm recently divorced and have 2 kids. Moving was a HUGE expense for me. And on top of that they stole from me. I wasn't going to say anything publicly but I figured that I could prevent this company with dishonest employees of stealing from another mom in the future. Also not even mentioned all the damage I noticed that was done to the furniture once I started putting everything into place. UPTADE TO THE RESPONSE OF THE OWNER. It is absolutely ridiculous that he tells me that I left it behind in my other apartment when I saw one of the guys wrap it in the black wrapping plastic and take it outside with him. And as for it being in my new apartment and that I need help from the owner of this company to come to my house and look for it??? I already feel violated by this company after they stole from me. And they have audacity to blame me? The customer who the company stole from? And pretend I am going to be ok with the guys coming in my place to look for it? The same people I trusted but stole from me? Ok go ahead and blame for not being ok with that. And I love how he makes it sound like if it was a couple COINS. So based on Yelp I hired Fuentes Moving- and I'm so glad I did! When I requested a quote it literally took Pedro thirty mins to get back to me. I like that they don't pressure you to pay in cash. I had Sergio and his team move me from a three bedroom to a storage unit AND my temporary housing in under four hours. They showed up 15 mins early to talk logistics and organize which furniture was going to each location. I loved that they wrapped everything, were super patient. Their patience paid off- they were the only ones to figure out how my couch could be disassembled and taken thru the front door. Sent the wrong info on insurance to move, threatened to leave because he couldn't get it right. At the end of the move he said my $1200 move was really a 2K move and he gave work away?? This company is completely unprofessional. We used them a few times in 2016 to move our office and our home and we were pleased with them at the time. I recently used them again on Oct. 26, 2018. I repeatedly asked them to provide a certificate of insurance, as my company paid for the move. We moved items from one apt. to another. The majority of the items belonged to my business. Maggie refused to send me a certificate of insurance. Before the move, I was led to believe they would provide the certificate. I trusted them, big mistake!! My emails after the move requesting the insurance went ignored. I just got off the phone with her and she refused to provide the certificate. Claiming she didn't understand what I was asking. This place is horrible. I received a quote for loading 5 pieces of furniture into a cargo van. A job which would have taken less than an hour. The original quote was for 200 dollars. I called back to confirm my moving day and was told it would be 400 dollars. The guy i spoke with was rude on top of the shameless price gouging. I initially used this moving company about 5 weeks ago and I called the owner back two weeks ago for a small job. Don't believe that no job is too small, as he states on his website. He wanted to charge me the going rate, even though there was no assembling or disassembling, and only one bedroom set to move. Not calling him ever again! This morning I also realized that a small Asian lacquer tree that I had in one of my smaller boxes is missing. I'm not saying it was taken, but perhaps fell and broke during the move.
