I recently had the pleasure of using Fuentes Moving for a 10-mile move from the 28th floor of a high rise condo in the Edgewater neighborhood of Miami to the 11th floor of a condo Aventura. Much to my pleasant surprise, Pedro and his team showed up at precisely 9:00 am, as agreed. In spite of the relentless rain, oppressive humidity, the constant waiting for elevators, and a nearly one block walk to and from my old condo's loading dock, these three gentlemen were unfailingly polite and professional. Seem Nice but don't be fooled. They sent 4 men who couldnt bring my couch up 5 flights of stairs unless you "compensarlo" on top of the final bill. I called the owner to complain because I paid for a service that wasn't completed and he said " well you tipped them so they must have not been that bad". I am a decent human who knows these men make pennies so I tipped them because I know what it's like to struggle. They didn't take my plants either and I didn't have a bed. And I took my own clothes. So I paid $500 to move a studio apartment with no bed or couch? Response to owner: Ayyy Pedro you can't take any responsibility can you?? My father is not rude nor disrespectful. I think you are talking about yourself. Stop blaming your customers for your poor service. Oh and by the way, that same couch was taking up 11 flights of stairs by 2 men on my previous move. I would not recommend this company. First of all, the movers who showed up tried to pull a fast one on us by saying they would only take cash as payment, which is untrue. The company will take credit cards. Second, the movers outright refused to take certain items. I had a large corn plant which they would not take because they didn't want dirt spilled in the truck if it tipped over. Also, stuff had to be in boxes. They would not take lamps, etc., because those items would allegedly break inside the truck. Third, although I busted my butt helping them, because they didn't exactly refuse my help, it still took nearly four hours for a local move. There were four of us. It was just a fairly small 2 bedroom apartment. My stuff didn't even fill half the truck. I had to make several trips in our car to bring the rest of our stuff that they refused to take. So, I just don't know if it was worth it. Next time I move I am going to just rent a moving truck. Do not use this company. The guys though were courteous, so I give them that. read more

Although two of the three guys were very nice, I had a 9am appt. The truck showed up at 8:30am, while I was dropping my toddler off at Daycare. Instead of starting their 3 hour window at 9am when the appointment was scheduled, they started their clock at 8:30. I was told that the move would be between $360-400 but when they were done at 12:45 the price jumped to $500. In addition, they broke my 1 year old son's bookcase and then put it together with double sided tape. They dissembled the bookcase for the move and somewhere along the way it got serious dents. They never said anything about the bookcase and when I lightly touched the bookcase it completely fell apart. Had that been my 1 year old son, he could have been very hurt. --- UPDATE ---- Pedro, the owner immediately reached out to me after my initial one star review and was very apologetic. He even sent me a check for the full cost to replace my son's bookcase. Fantastic customer service on Pedro's part. Very professional. read more

The 3 movers were great and very professional. They arrived exactly at 9am. I supervised most of the move but had to leave for an hour midway through. They continued the process without my supervision and took care of business. Do not call anyone else for your move. I had an extremely stressful morning and night before my move. Everything seemed to be going completely wrong except for my choice in movers. Fuentes moving was extremely accommodating, had everything securely wrapped, packed, and out of my old apartment within an hour. They arrived early with 4 men ready to do the job. Most importantly, they were courteous, professional, and handled my belongings with care. Communication was also an A+. I had to reschedule my moving date at least once and then the time I was moving at least once, doing so was hassle free. Throughout my move I was always able to contact a member of the Fuentes Moving team, which I believe is important for anyone who is moving. Hired this moving company for a move within the same building in Aventura during October 2017. I was simply moving apartments within the same building. The crew arrived on time and moved everything, however, I wish I had hired someone else. The crew started moving furniture but did not place any protective wrapping on the furniture. All they did was wrap SOME furniture with really thin and cheap plastic. I advised them to use felt covers so that the walls or furniture did not receive damage. But they said that it is not needed... At the end of the move, the paint in my old apartment walls got scratched. There was paint residue on my furniture. I lost the security deposit for the apartment. On my new apartment, the walls are scratched. The crew did not place protective covers on my bed frame which scratched the walls of the new apartment. Upon complaining to the crew. The crew manager simply said that it should come off with soap and a nickels worth of paint. However he did not comprehend that my rental agreement requires me to paint the entire wall if there is damage. He even tried using his own SPIT to clean the wall!! My wife and I have left multiple voicemails to the company's management office but have not received a call back to this day. Our move was in October and it is now end of January still without hearing from the company's management office. Stay away and clear of this moving company! read more

Unfortunately they decided to sub-contract this out to Rodney's Relocation without even asking. What a joke! Yes they are cheap but you get what you pay for. Had three guys help me move into my new place. Only problem is that they broke a cabinet drawer, spoke with a manager and he said he could glue it back together instead of just getting me a new one. Then one of the movers broke a glass of my fine China and never told me. I found out a few hours later, called and of course they denied it. They icing on the cake is that the movers stole a case of wine. I had several boxes of wine and they stole an entire case. I was also annoyed that they were pressuring me to tip them the entire time they were working. Trust me, it's best to pay a little more than have to deal with this low class company that will refuse to pay up for any mishaps that will occur. read more

Fuentes Movers was awesome & totally affordable! $400 for 3 hours with the truck & 3 guys, and $100 for each additional hour. I moved from Miami Beach to Palm Beach, and since I had packed up everything except the furniture, we were able to do the move in the minimum 3 hours- so fast! The guys were great, and I would totally recommend Fuentes movers to anyone moving any time soon. They'll get the job done, and they won't break the bank! Just keep in mind that they could arrive a little earlier than your scheduled time- we ended up starting the moving @ 8:10 am instead of 9 am . Who ever heard of anyone being early in Miami?
