This is the 2nd time in *less* than 3 weeks of finding hair in my food. The owner did apologize the 1st time but at this point a Corrective measure needs to be taken due to the frequency of this issue. Possibly a hair net ? Men and women, who ever is cooking. As a frequent customer that spends a lot of money at the deli I must say I feel Disappointed, and may not return until a solution is provided.

I also had a mocha with an extra espresso shot and extra chocolate , while my daughter and my mom enjoyed breakfast. What really makes BeanRunner special is the atmosphere. You can sit inside or outside, and the whole place gives me a cool Brooklyn lounge/café feel. Inside, you have beautiful authentic brick walls, plants thoughtfully placed throughout the seating areas, and curated artwork displayed on the walls--some of which is even available for purchase. Smooth jazz and R&B playing in the background just adds to the vibe. They cater to and strongly support local artists and musicians which is very cool! There's also a back patio, a quieter separate seating room away from the main floor, and outdoor seating with umbrellas. The outdoor area gives me a little Fort Greene/Lafayette triangle vibe, which I really enjoy. And BeanRunner is more than just a café. They have live music on weekends, and from what I'm told, they have a GOOD time! They also host poetry slams and open mics, which adds even more character to the place. They serve desserts and smoothies too, so there's plenty beyond coffee and sandwiches. The location is tucked back on Esther Place in Peekskill, across from the large Assumption Church building, and that may honestly be BeanRunner's biggest disadvantage. I truly believe that if this place weren't so tucked away, they'd be packed every day. Great food, great coffee, beautiful atmosphere, music, art, plants, indoor and outdoor seating--BeanRunner has a little bit of everything. Definitely a Peekskill spot worth discovering! 5 stars from me!

Recently tried breakfast sandwiches at Fuhgeddaboudit and had their Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich with hot sauce, avo, and hashbrown. The eggs were top-notch, showing they care about quality. The cashier was friendly, cracking jokes, but drinks, besides coffee, are kinda pricey--I won't drop $3 on orange juice personally.
