Sashimi Deluxe was cut way to big and was a little dry. Wasabi was too mild and the lack of color makes me think it wasn't fresh. Service was attentive and I like the robot server. But overall disappointing, especially for the price.

Upon wandering around Wheaton, we discovered Fuji. They offer many lunch specials, which include soup or salad. Miso soup had a lot of tofu and seaweed pieces. Sushi rolls did have sesame seeds on them. They had an adorable robot that carried food to the table. Server was also very nice. I would return for lunch because pricing was very reasonable.

Super cool place in downtown Wheaton - they serve excellent fresh sushi and ramen. I got a bowl of the spicy chicken and the meat was 1) a large portion and 2) juicy. I like that you can choose if you want wide or thin noodles too. That was a plus. I would've wanted more spice to really amp the heat. The brown sugar boba is really nice. I do feel that tapioca should be included and not extra. However, the great thing about the boba is it's one size and it's really big for only $6 Definitely drop in - it's tons of seating and staff is quick and attentive. They even have the robot that delivers your food.

Love the little robot waiter . Good food. Clean restaurant. Free parking in the garage for 3 hours.

Wheaton needs more places like this- casual, kid friendly non fussy and just fun. They seem to have a bunch of things on the horizon to introduce casual Asian food to the downtown Wheaton scene. The flavors and ambiance is not what you'd anticipate in Wheaton but u Hope they stay around long enough to continuously improve. The service is as expected - it's family run and offers diversity to the food scene not just in cuisine but in price point and ambiance to the community. A great place to just hang out with friends and family.

I could write a book about how yummy the food was and how great our waiters were... but I'll keep it brief :) Went out with a friend and we gave Fuji a try. It's now our favorite spot! I ordered a miso soup for an appetizer and a Naruto and Spicy Tuna for my entree. Loved, loved, loved my food! I'm a sushi snob so I'm always skeptical of new sushi spots in the area, but Fuji won my heart. The staff is also incredibly kind, intentional, and hardworking. The ambience is calm and relaxing. The have a decent sake selection that I am going to try out next time (when I'm not the driver haha!). Highly highly recommend you give this place a shot. Perfect for date night, family night, or just want to grab a warm cozy bowl of ramen on a cold night. Can't wait to come back! P.S: I just want to put it out there that we live in a post-COVID era where there are a LOT of entitled people that think that the world revolves around them. And that also includes their opinion. Sometimes restaurants get things wrong and that's ok. That's why I take people's opinions with a grain of salt. Always be mindful that restaurants are genuinely trying their best in a very tough time for food service, especially new restaurants. Not every restaurant is everyone's cup of tea, but that doesn't mean that because you'd rather have earl grey means that the cup of jasmine is bad for everyone... it just means you're an a-hole that needs more compassion

I decided to come back and give this place a second chance but the quality is not any better with their other items. Quality- the takoyaki was not bad. I liked the crunchy outside and soft creamy inside. It is not bad except for the sauce. I was not a fan of the Mayo type sauce they put on it. The ramen was still very watery and and not thick enough. Quantity- The bowls are very small for how much you are paying for it. Atmosphere- not a fan of the very bright lights. Service- not a fan of the delivery robot and the ramens took a while.

Brand new spot in Wheaton - nice to have a little more variety. Food is pretty decent - it's not super high quality but it's about what I expected. Food came quickly and the waiter was really nice. I didn't get to meet the robot delivery thing but maybe that's only for dinner. I'll be back because I live so close, and I hope it stays open because they seem like they are working hard. If you're looking for really good sushi or ramen though there are better places in Naperville or oakbrook. Edit: it should probably be three stars but there are only two negative reviews so far so I'm trying to make it a 3 overall

A free treat from Fuji. It was like a hash brown with a BBQ like sauce/drizzle. It was good.

We asked for knives and were given one to share. The shrimp appetizer looked like no shrimp I have ever seen before. There was no salt or pepper shaker on the table to I went and got one off another table. As I brought it to our table I made sure to let my fellow diner know to use a napkin as the shaker was dirty and sticky. We finally just ordered chicken broth with ramen noodles expecting it to taste like Lipton chicken noodle soup. SURPRISE ~ not like anything I have ever tasted before. The booth where we were seated faced west so there were slats and a shade to cover the window. Reading the menu was next to impossible. This was my first exposure to ramen and, most likely, my last. I got tired of waiting for my printed receipt so we left. I will not return to this restaurant.

I went with the bento box B with the teriyaki chicken, and I can't really pick a clear standout. The teriyaki chicken was cooked perfectly and just hit right, but the fried vegetables were just as impressive. Light, crispy, not greasy at all. And yes, I said vegetables... I know, right. They kind of balance each other out, and honestly both were equally good for different reasons. I also grabbed a side of crab rangoon and yeah... those were crazy good. Crispy outside, creamy inside, just straight addictive. Only complaint is you get three. That's it. I could've put down 30 without even thinking about it. What I really liked is this place doesn't try too hard. The food is clean, fresh, and consistent. You can tell they care about what they're putting out. It's not some flashy, overhyped sushi spot, it's just solid across the board. The space is smaller and more on the cozy side, which honestly works in its favor. Easy to relax, not loud or chaotic. Service was friendly and on point without hovering. Overall, this is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot you want. Good food, good people, and a vibe that keeps you coming back.

The crab Rangoon would have been better as a dine in option as it cooled a bit too much once it got home. Good flavor and loved the spicy dipping sauce (which is often watered down at other places). VERY generous portions of sushi. Tuna, salmon, and yellowtail all delicious. 3 rolls: Pink Lady, Crunchy Roll, and Sweetheart Roll. The first and last had their own special sauces to add, which we each delicious. The crunchy roll was the least interesting, though still tasty. Will need to dine in next time to give the crab Rangoon a fair chance. Otherwise, I recommend a good takeout experience.
