This boba/coffee store is in the Metropole Center Plaza near Hmart so there's plenty of parking (even on the weekend). The inside is clean and has a good amount of seating space. Menu-wise there is so much to choose from and they have a good selection of different matcha drinks. I ended up getting the Banana Matcha Brulee Latte and the White Peach Oolong Tea Latte with Boba. Both drinks were delicious but I would highly recommend the Banana Matcha Brulee Latte- I personally don't really care for bananas but this drink is creamy, smooth, and the sweetness is balanced well with the matcha. The White peach oolong tea latte was also delicious but I got 30% sugar and even with the boba topping, the drink wasn't that sweet so this place is definitely moderate in terms of sweetness which I appreciate. Looking forward to coming back and trying the banana drink again!

Came back to Fuji Tea today and had a perfect experience. I ordered the White Peach Oolong Tea Latte with boba -- and it was spot on. The boba had that perfect chewy consistency, exactly how boba should be. I went with 25% sugar, and it hit the sweet spot -- not too sweet, which I really appreciate. It's hard to find places that get the sweetness level just right, so I'm grateful Fuji does on this drink. Service was quick as always, which I love -- I like to grab my drink and go, and they make that easy every time. I also want to shout out the owner and team for clearly taking customer feedback seriously. It really shows in the consistent quality and attention to detail. This visit brought back the same great vibes I remember from when they first opened.

Honestly one of the most underrated boba shops in Chinatown. The customer service is always so kind, and it's a local business. The shop is chic, and there is a huge variety of drinks on their menu. They have one of the largest menus, ranging from matcha to fruit teas, panna cottas, cheese foams. They also have more niche flavors like osmanthus. Love this place. Always refreshing!

The boba chain with the nicest service! I happened to be in the area for lunch and craved a boba for dessert. Seeing Fuji Tea menu outside as I walked past, I was enticed by the unique selection available. Not knowing the Fuji Tea brand, I thought it was a small mom and pop shop, but upon chatting with the staff, I learned that it has been operating for multiple years with a few different locations. I ordered two drinks to try, and before I received my drink, the manager of the shop realized that I had ordered one of the sweeter drinks that didn't allow for sugar modifications and confirmed whether it was still ok. I hesitated a bit since I do typically lean on my drinks being "not too sweet". Seeing my slight hesitation and before I could respond, the manager offered to still make the drinks but also offered to give me a separate drink for free in case the drink I ordered was too sweet for my liking. I have never seen any boba shop be so generous and accommodating, especially as a first time customer ( not a regular). I was completely blown away by the service and will definitely be returning again. The reason for the four stars is because all three drinks I tasted (two bought and one free) still ended up being on the sweet side even after sugar level modifications. However, the taste combo were quite unique. Maybe it's just that my personal preference is for less sweet or the drinks I ordered weren't the highlights of the tea shop; next time I'll try something different. If you are looking to chill at a boba shop, this could be a new option to add to your list. It was very clean and quiet when I visited. Most folks seem to order for pickup, so plenty of space to sit and chill. The decor is also one of a kind.

Stumbled upon this quaint boba on a Wednesday after lunch, in the same place as a restaurant we were looking to try. We tried the black milk tea with cheese foam combo with 2 mochi nuggets and the roasted oolong tea. The drinks hit the spot after lunch, as the cheese foam was VERY decadent in a good way and the roasted oolong tea wasn't sweet but refreshing to my friend. Small but cute space, reminding me of a tea shop I'd find in NY. Would recommend!

Signature Milk Tea with boba here. Tried coming here for the first time after eating lunch nearby. Good parking spaces- ample amount & tons of places for lunch. Then, boba = good dessert here after. Will definitely come back when visiting Tainan Bistro nearby to try their other teas. They've got clean tables I can work at when I need to get some lesson planning done, etc. and their boba balls are deliciously chewy. Not too hard and not too soft. Just the perfect consistency! No hard centers- like when I attempt to nuke the diy packages at home in the microwave.

Milk tea w/ boba - 9/10 - Creamy and had a strong tea flavor which I loved. Tiramisu milk tea - 9/10 - Very similar to the classic milk tea but was sweeter. Fuji tea has multiple locations and they have a lot of menu options. Their tea is flavorful and strong and I like that their boba itself is sweet too.

Went out to dinner with some friends and decided to get some boba for dessert! I've never been to Fuji tea before, but the friends I was with introduced us to it. They said that this was one of their favorites, so we definitely had to try it out. Service was okay, I deducted a star because the service was sub par, nothing really great about it. The tea is the selling point here. I got the Milk tea with an Oreo cheese foam. It was pretty good, you'll definitely have to mix it tho or else all you'll taste is regular milk tea. My boyfriend got the Tiramasu Milk tea and that was soooo good! If I do go back, this is for sure what I'll get! Overall, it was a decent experience and will definitely be back to try some other teas.

Amazing matcha!!! I had Starbucks matcha-oatmeal with cold foam often but at Fuji Tea is wayyy better! It goes down smooth and the matcha is tasteful. Hands down my place for matcha drinks.

Very cute inside. The employee was nice. I had the super grapefruit tea and the tea flavor was very strong. It overpowered the fruit and left a little after taste. Not bad, just different than what I've had at other tea houses in the area. I'd come back and try something new. I want to try other items on the menu.

The staff was helpful in getting me something I would like for my first time visiting. Plenty of options to choose from on the milk tea or fruit tea side of the menu. I really like the cups too! Having a high quality cup is such and underrated part of a boba tea. Well lit and not overstimulating seating area is nice too. The drinks were good, but the tapioca is better elsewhere sad to say. I'll check other reviews to see if there was a hidden gem I should try next time.

Ordered Jasmine Green Tea w/ boba & Brown sugar boba milk. Shortly after waiting I was told that they were out of boba for my jasmine drink and they only had about half a scoop or less and if I'd like a different topping. Boba is my fave and what I was wanting so I was fine with the last half scoop of boba. The person was super kind and apologetic. The only reason I give less stars is because I think they should've monitored the boba more closely as it gets older and closer to the end because it seems as if the boba had broken down into the sauce making the sauce SO stringy with a weird mucus like texture. It was so unpleasant to drink. We honestly couldn't drink them because of how thick, stringy, sticky and mucus like the boba syrup was.

Went here for the first time while exploring Bellaire. The staff was so friendly and patient (since there's so many good drinks to choose from) and the service was fast! Have been craving for rose milk tea recently, and Fuji Tea was one of the options that popped up on Yelp. First time stepping into the place and was glad that the environment is cozy and nice. Since I knew what I wanted, I did not hesitate and asked the girl at the cashier if their Rose Milk Tea is brewed with real rose petal tea or if they use some sort of flavoring/syrup. The group of people behind me was a bit loud, so I couldn't hear her reply, but she was super patient and repeated to me twice that they use real rose tea. In addition to Rose Milk Tea (25% sweet with boba; no cheese foam), hubby wanted the Assam Milk Tea (50% sweet) while dad wanted a Jasmine Milk Tea (25% sweet with boba). The lady honestly told me that they ran out of boba, that it would be a 15-20 minutes wait, and if I would mind the wait. We were okay with waiting since we needed to wait for mom to do grocery next door. All three drinks totaled a little more than $17, and the wait did not even take more than 10 minutes... All of us really enjoyed our drinks! Definitely coming back again~ Pros: All three drinks are great (the quality is there); staff are patient, polite, and nice; great boba texture; super cute cups. Cons: The 25% sweetness level still tastes a tiny bit too sweet without the cheese foam, so I can't imagine how much sweeter it will taste with cheese foam (I will try asking for 10% next time to see if they can do that)... ^^ read more

Got the watermelon passion fruit tea at 75% with agar crystal. Drink was delicious and refreshing! As far as the agar crystal? I don't know they didn't give it to me... drink is 8/10, but I give service 1/10. SIL got the black tea latte with taro and boba. She gives it 5/10. Boba is good. Taro is good. But overall it's not sweet at all because the tea has zero sugar. Wife got the signature fruit tea at 75% sugar. That's their most popular item. She gives it a 6/10. Came here for their grand opening today around 11ish (saw them on Instagram and wanted to try it). They had a B2GO, I waited in the line (I was about 6th in line), and ordered at 11:20 according to my receipt. I didn't receive my 3 drinks (signature milk tea, super grapefruit, and mango smoothie) until 11:57...granted they were semi busy in store and had chowbus orders coming in (saw them packing drinks in chowbus bags)...they had a full staff and had to know they'd be busy on their first real day of business. So idk how I felt about that long wait time. They also didn't call out all drink orders in English...I heard Mandarin most of the time, luckily they said mine in both Chinese and English bc my Mandarin is like elementary level, if that. The signature milk tea I got was 50% sugar and I should've done 75% instead. The tea flavor was good but it had to be a tad sweeter. The mango smoothie was for my brother and it was 100% sweet and he said it was too sweet. The super grapefruit was also 100% sweet and that was actually right on point and refreshing. It's hard to judge what level of sweetness to get based on a first trip/experience. I don't think I'd come back any time soon, due to the overwhelming wait time, but I'm willing to give them another chance in the future after it settles down a bit. read more

Drinks were great. A little on the pricier side, however. The only part that seriously ruined our experience was the crazy wait time. Yes, it was a Sunday afternoon, but we waited an HOUR for our two drinks. There were 4 people making drinks, but they just weren't popping the drinks out in a timely manner. Everyone around me waited pretty much the same amount of time. The shop also is pretty tiny, so there wasn't much room for people to wait inside. This place has great potential, the drinks were really great! But I would not come again to wait an hour for it. They've got some smoothing over to do in terms of shop speed...I imagine this is because it's a new establishment. read more

I was in town and wanted to try this boba place after seeing some Instagram posts about it. I ordered the strawberry matcha (50% sugar lvl), mango milk with coconut pudding (50% sugar lvl), and signature milk tea with boba (100% sugar lvl). I wasn't particular fond of the strawberry matcha because it tasted just like strawberry milk and was nothing special. The mango milk with coconut pudding was more on the unique side, but I would get it at 80% sugar lvl because 50% wasn't sweet enough for me personally. However, I really enjoy their signature milk tea even though it's the most basic of out the three drinks I ordered. The boba was chewy and the perfect consistency! I definitely will try this boba place again due to their boba texture, but I would try different flavors next time read more

This place is my go to spot for white peach oolong tea. Their tea is fragrant and legit so I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their tea menu. I don't have much to say bc the tea speaks for itself. It's my top spot for authentic Taiwanese tea. Highly recommend! read more

The menu has so much variety and interesting drink combo that I have seen no where else. I love taro, but it can be too sweet sometimes and artificial. I was really interested in the black tea latte w/ taro and boba bc of the black tea which is a rare option for a taro drink. I got it at the regular level and it was perfect. So delicious, fresh taro paste warm chewy sweet boba! My bf got the white peach oolong w/ cheese foam at regular level for everything and it wasn't too sweet at all! The strawberry jelly at the bottom added a nice texture and extra flavor/sweetness which I think it def needed. Overall I love how different the drinks are here, only complaint would be the smell which I think comes from their awful dirty restrooms. For a quick in and out spot, it's perfect. The drinks were good so I'd def still come back. read more

The drinks were pretty well made. It's not too sweet which I personally enjoy. I give this place a two star because the girl who took our order had a stank attitude. All we asked was a simple question about if we could remove milk foam from the tea. Space was very clean but I think I'd rather stick to the Katy location Fuji tea. read more

It's definitely a vibrant "hole in the wall" place, the only few things that could still be fixed is how the drinks are described on the menu. I ordered a rose milk tea with boba and didn't even know it came with milk foam. But another thing should be fixed is how most of the employees didn't wear sanitary gloves while making drinks. I didn't mind it much cause there were still some, but they should still consider some possible customers who get anxious when they don't see gloves worn. I would definitely come again and order another milk tea drink and even try the Oreo milk foam!! read more

Been to Fuji Tea a few times. Each experience has been different depending on the day and time you go. From photos this place looks new and trendy but the actual drinks are ok.. There is nothing special about this boba shop other than a fancy cup. Terrible customer service with the person taking the order and the ones handing out the drinks. Employees are just running around and don't know what they're doing. I saw that my drinks were ready and told them my order number and the lady just looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about and was very rude. Go to another shop with better service and better tasting drinks read more

I just travelled from Seattle and so in love with Tieguayin tea in the boba place called TP Tea but I couldn't find anywhere has it in Houston . Until i searched on Chowbus app and this place was popped up. The pictures of drinks were really caught my eyes and I decided to give it a shot right away. I'm so glad this place nears my favorite restaurant Mala Sichuan Bistro, next time I can come here after eating yayyy. Back to the main point, i love their decorations, the cup design *super cute*, their slogan is impressive. Menu looks huge and variety but nice and easy to read *extra point*. I ordered Rose Tieguayin Tea with cheese foam (75% sweet), tea smells so good, rosy and tasty, i dont really like their cheese foam, the taste not really good to go with tea (i prefer TP Tea in Seattle better but their tea doesn't smelly rose) yay for tea but nay for foam. It is a bit trendy and plays music that you would think of and in a Miami lounge or a pretentious New York Club. While service is not their strong suit, the clean bathrooms, spacious seating, and semi-open kitchen makes up for some 'tudes from the staff. The menu is most definitely Asian, but blends from a predominantly Chinese menu and featuring various Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese items. The latter includes sushi, which is likely one of the only spots in the neighborhood that still has it after midnight. They have bluefin tuna and sea urchin, in which Cafe 101 is one of the only late night spots to offer it. Their beef chow fun is nice and greasy, but filled with excessive onions, bean sprouts, and various other veggies that almost take away from the noodles and beef (which was nicely cooked). Their shrimp and egg came in a nice set, which was a good surprise and surprisingly well executed. This is also a spot for Japanese curry, and even though it's not the best, it most certainly does the job. Taiwanese popcorn chicken is on point, cumin lamb is unsurprisingly spicy, and Singapore chow mai fun has a tinge of solid wok hei. (#1) I'm genuinely not a fan of their soups and think the sushi rolls are not their best work. While they also have milk, tea options, unless one is desperate, I would also steer clear of. Parking in the early evening can be an issue at Don Huang Plaza, but after 11pm, the parking options should be abundant.
