Finally tried this deli today! Cute little shop with all meat and cheese sliced to order. We ordered the Full Belly on a wheat wrap and a Rueben. Wrap was great but Rueben was out of this world good - highly recommend!! Can't wait to come back and try more sandwiches!

    Dry as the Sahara!

By far the worst meat ball sub and steak and cheese ever. Meatball sub was Dry dry dry. Called to tell them and girl said there sauce in there ,meatballs sit in sauce, she's gng to tell me that there sauce on sub when I'm looking at it and there's clearly minimal sauce. How do you talk to your customers like that and undermine them? I will never be back was hoping this would have been a hidden gem but no, it's better if staying hidden in my opinion! Steak and Cheese had mayo now on menu does it say it comes with mayo. I should have read the reviews before ordering. I'm staying with hucks hoagies from now on!

    Great deli!

They take your order and then they go to work. This is arguably some of the best subs around. Built to fill you (we got the 6") and made with what appears to be hand cut cold cuts and very fresh vegetables. I had a cold Corned Beef and it was just what I wanted. Small parking lot at the deli (off Main St.), not a lot of indoor seating (we sat at the picnic table outside), but worth leaving the crowds of Main St. for what will be one of the best sandwiches you have had in a while.

Nice lunch, with a Belli Ache sub and a BLT. Both were very tasty and were enjoyed outdoors at the picnic tables. Definitely recommended.

Great sandwiches! Off the main drag but worth the effort. Small sub shop with some stools. Best for takeout.

Super big subs with fresh ingrediants. A large sub here is two meals for me easily. Try this out, definitely recommended.

Delicious (and huge!) subs and sandwiches. Everything is very fresh, and the menu has good variety. Great place to stock up for a picnic!

I was recommended to go to Huck's Hoagies by my brother and it did not disappoint. This place is…read morenext-level good--and the staff greets you like you've been coming there for years. While we were waiting for our sandwiches, one customer told us he flies out from California just for Huck's Hoagies and I can understand why. Portion sizes are generous, prices are more than fair for the quality, and the ingredients are clearly fresh. Bottom line: If you love sandwiches--and even if you just like them--you need to try this place. It's a gem.

While serving at a local youth camp, we had to go outside for food because the camp food was not…read morevery good. So we decided to go out for a Philly cheesesteak. Originally, we ventured over to Full Belli deli in Wolfboro, which has some of the most incredible cheesesteaks I've ever tasted, but they were overwhelmed with orders and the minimum weight for a takeout sandwich was an hour and a half. We didn't have that much time to wait. Boy, do I regret not waiting... When we entered Hucks, the absolute empty restaurant should've been a massive red flag. But we were so engulfed in serious conversation, we didn't even realize it. We waited for about 20 minutes for our sandwiches to be made which were about $18 apiece for a "special steak" cheesesteak that boasted caramelized onions, fried peppers, and mushrooms with provolone, cheddar and American cheese. Sounds amazing, doesn't it? Oh contrar. It was pretty terrible. The onions were pretty much nonexistent, there was nothing special about the steak, except that it sucked, the peppers were not grilled, and the several cheeses were there in name only. Oh yeah, the bread tasted like it was soaked in warm water. Ugh. I recommend Camp Sentinel food over Huck's. All in all, camp food was a 10 compared Huck's. Huck's sucks.

We were heading into Wolfeboro on a recent Sunday, thinking either The Bay Diner or Katies, and…read morehoping not to have to wait for a table (it was around zero outside). Yelp showed The Sand Trap as a breakfast option right before we drove by the Kingswood Golf Club, and I mentioned to my wife that I'd heard of their restaurant serving dinner but not breakfast. We called the number and they confirmed they were "open right now, for breakfast," and gave us directions (turn on to Kingswood Rd, and they're .1 miles down on the left). There were only two cars in the small lot, and the adjacent L-Shaped white building didn't say "Sand Trap," but a sign did say "Restaurant," so we thought it must be the place. Entering from the back, there was only one other party there, sitting at a high top in the bar area, and we were quickly greeted and told to sit anywhere. We chose a table up against a soft couch/bench and settled in to read the menu. Despite the bitterly cold weather outside, the inside was very comfortable (warm), and the menu was interesting. In addition to the usual breakfast offerings (e.g., omelets, eggs, pancakes) they offered Benedicts as usual (2 poached eggs) as well as a junior version (one poached egg). Benedicts can be filling (hollandaise IS butter and yolk) so I opted for a junior version of the "Kingswood:" Bacon, Avocado and Tomato, while my wife ordered a Cheese, Onion and Spinach omelet. The food arrived quickly, and after a couple bites she declared that her omelet was AMAZING. It was very fluffy ("how do they DO that"), with just enough melted American cheese and fresh wilted spinach. She even said it was "better than Wade's," our never-before-topped gold standard from a diner in Oswego, NY. that makes incredible cheese omelets. Me, disbelieving: "Really? Wife: "Yes, really." That's high praise. My Benedict was equally good. Halfway through I realized there was no toasted English Muffin (menu had hinted at that), but the fresh Avocado - a generous amount -, crisp bacon, tomato and perfectly poached egg dripping with Hollandaise more than made up for that. All this was served right on top of a serving of seasoned home fries. Although I normally don't like seasoning on potatoes, these were very good. In summary, our breakfast was better than we'd expected to get at either The Bay Diner or Katies, both of which serve very good food; our wait time was zero, and the room was very comfortable, especially given the weather outside. At this writing the Sand Trap has only one other Yelp review (five stars), and that was for lunch, so ours will make the first breakfast review (also 5 stars). Google has a smattering of positive reviews, so it might not be long before The Sand Trap earns a much deserved reputation as a preferred breakfast option in Wolfeboro. We will certainly be back!

A laid back, hearty breakfast. Yes, it's open to the public. It is located on the golf course, but…read moreno reservations or membership is necessary to come and dine here! The service was friendly, and we both enjoyed our breakfast here. Service was a little slow but nothing I would raise an eyebrow at. The vibes here are vintage golf club meets diner: the furniture/dining chairs were upholstered with old school golf-themed fabric which was cute. I'd definitely come back here for breakfast!
