Ate at the bar since there were no tables and remembered the bartender from the old place next door, she is very funny and knows how to make a martini - everyone should chill martini glasses but plenty do not, she loaded up the olives and gave us our dirty rocks on the side without us asking. We enjoyed nice caesar salads, I had a fish special with pasta, and the wife had the mussels. They were packed but our food didn't take too long and was very good. The place is really hot, they need some air conditioning in there. It was also off putting to be giving our food order or getting wine suggestions with the bartender and having a waiter or waitress interrupt us by loudly barking drink orders at her. It seemed like every time we were talking, one or both of them interrupted us. That is pretty rude to an old timer like me. We will go back again. We aren't usually bar people but we will sit there again if we can have the same gal. read more

Copy below: "Nolan's bistro is under new ownership and Andy has not worked for Nolan's in over 9 months. If you had recent issues at Nolan's, please reach out to us and let us try and solve any issue you may have. Jill E. 603-997-XXXX" I have since "reached out" to her 4 times(!), both by text and voice messages. Have heard absolutely nothing...nada, zip, zero. Common courtesy alone, should dictate a reply since she's soliciting for one! Is it any wonder why this business operates so shoddily? "The apple does't fall far from the tree" is the proverbial apt summation here! Avoid this eatery, and this woman. Sad..wasted potential. read more

Great service ! - OUTstanding drinks made exactly as requested, amazing garlic bread in a butter sauce, fabulous Seafood Fra Diablo, made to our specs, ....... and a tour of Italy : Lasagna, meatballs, sausage, Eggplant parmesean, manicotti, and raviolli. He works for the pinecone restaurant, the restaurant he mentioned in his review. Andy is a class act and always delivers great service when my wife and I go to Nolan's. Nolan's is a pretty comfy spot with great options for food and drinks. While it's rather difficult to find a parking spot (downtown Wolfeboro ), it usually with the effort. The oven fired pizza always hits the mark after a plate of calamari. And a beer or two later....I'm headed to sleep a happy full woman. The locals seem to agree because every time I come here, I see someone I've met there before. read more

We were looking for pizza and this place delivered! The atmosphere was great and the fold was fantastic! Nolan's bruschetta was to die for, literally it was delicious and could have made a meal out of it! The pizza was good too! We tried Larry's special jock changes daily.
