Literally the best turkey grinder I've ever had. We were in a hurry and noticed the shop after leaving a nearby grocery store and decided to give Louis' a shot. A roast beef grinder and a turkey grinder to go ready in no time at all.Both were absolutely stuffed with meat.Great bread and really fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Well done Louis ' Pizza.We are visiting Wolfeboro a lot lately so we will be back. read more

Picked this up on the way to the lake, such a good ratio of cheese too not too much sauce and the crust was cooked perfectly. Only thing is that this isn't THAT large a pizza for a large but also who needs that much pizza (me) read more

Pizza is delicious. We pick up every Wednesday. Usually get either pepperoni or cheese and buffalo chicken pizza is a good one.

"Pity" and "concern" is what I'd use to describe my feelings towards the reviews calling this "best pizza around". Compared to Costco pizza is an insult to the wholesale bargain box mart. A travesty to the very dish itself, Italians everywhere should be outraged. I'll start the review with "no delivery", JC, I wish this place delivered. The pizza reminds me of my hometown staple pizza joint. The old Pine Cone pizza reminds me of the other hometown staple pizza joint (thin crust). Sadly, the Pine Cone has morphed into a pile of garbage. Thankfully, Louis has filled the void. The staff, while often overwhelmed, is extremely accommodating and prompt. The phones are never taken off the hook even in the busy seasons. Thick crust pizza with generous splashes of marinara and cheese. They don't have buffalo wings, to my chagrin, but they have their own version of buffalo tenders, orange sweet/spicy style. Excellent pizza served fresh and hot by great folks! The suave is a good balance of sweet and savory. The cheese is gooey and tasty and pairs well with the sauce. The crust is a Greek style, not generally my choice, but here it works very well and compliments the other ingredients. read more

This is the best pizza! It is a tradition when we go to the Lake house the first night we get Louis (which we call Louie's). The staff is quick and efficient, but friendly. Everything we have had there has been top notch! Keep calling if the phone is busy or order and take a walk around the back bay while you're waiting. You will be happy you did! read more

I love Louis! This place has been around since I was a kid and their recipe is still the same as I remember it. And so is their dining room! OK so the dining room is stuck in the 70's, but you don't come here for the decor. They offer much more than pizza, but pizza is the reason I visit. The crust is perfect, the sauce and cheese excellent. The guy that owns the place is a hoot and remembers everybody. On the bad side, the bathrooms are a little old and sketchy. But on the whole, they are the best pizza place in town! read more

Visiting from out of town, Louis pizza was highly recommended by a local resident. We are from Wisconsin and we know Cheese. The pizza did not disappoint, baked crispy with lots of toppings. I was in Wolfeborough on vacation and had been tired of the same eating out options I had been going to for the last couple of days. I had never been to the Louis Pizzeria before, and thought it would be a good stop, since they had good reviews and it looked good from the outside (ok, I shouldn't just a book by its cover but whatever). Anyway, I ordered some pizza and came by in fifteen minutes. For a down pat thirty seconds, I was in the store. Not that I'm trying to get away for some weird reason, but I like to enjoy my vacations over the summer and not spend too much time in any restaurant. The woman working was friendly and they weren't busy what-so-ever, there was only one family in the dining area, and literally one woman working. Friendly service, and unique interior that seems to go along with the Wolfeborough motif of relaxing, placid and organized (at least that's how I think of Wolfeborough). Menu is varied and has a variety of pizzas, calzones, grinders, salads, burgers, pasta dinners and more. Liters of soda are also available inside the restaurant. Nice eating area that's clean (considering the age of this plaza) and has at least ten dining tables. 4 stars for the Louis Pizzeria. Nothing astounding, but pretty good spot in Wolfeborough. read more

Grinders were big and the quality of ingredients was excellent. Spaghetti was piping hot and the sauce was great. This guy makes pizza that's like what a good slice would be in NYC. The first (and only) good pizza that I've had in New Hampshire.

I ordered a pizza and was told 20 minutes. I arrived in 15 to pay for it and wait there the rest of the time. I paid for the pizza and was told it would be right out. After 10 more minutes I went to check on the pizza and they couldn't find mine in the oven. They said they would put one in and be about 20 minutes. I asked for my money back and went across the street to another pizza shop that was delicious. Staff was very busy, not very nice, and showed no concern that I had been waiting for nothing.
