The restaurant hours listed say it closes at 2:30pm. We drove two hours and arrived at 2:02pm, and were told they were not taking anymore orders because they were busy. We explained to them how far we had come with two small children. We had tried to call ahead to place an order and no one picked up the phone. Truly disappointed at the customer service. If you will close early regardless of your restaurant hours, I think that should be stated upfront. read more

It seems like they leveled up their XLB game. With the neighboring iShanghai's quality being really iffy, this is a solid choice and a lower price. Definitely worth the visit. I live the food here. My daughter's favorite is the beef wrapped. I enjoy the dumplings here, because it has more variety, I have a friend who doesn't eat pork, and there are shrimp with veggie, fish or beef to choose from. The 3 cup chicken is great but not 3 cup intestines cuz it was cut too thin and was buried underneath lots of scallions. My kids loves the ground pork with rice but I find it too sweet and not enough sauce to rice ratio. The galuc flavor A choy is so yummy. I also like the spicy fish. It is really good. Hope whoever eating this loofah dumpling on this batch they are going to make and steam in the near later hour. Good luck. I'm loving how there's just so many restaurants popping up that sell xiao long baos. First DTF, then Din Ding Dumpling House, and now Full House Dumpling (I know there's other places but mostly familiar with these places). Our of all of these three restaurants, Full House Dumpling is by far my most favorite because their quantity is the same for a cheaper price compared to DTF and DinDing. What I've tried so far and liked: juicy pork dumplings (6 pcs), juicy pork dumplings with crab meat (6 pcs), beef roll with green onion, fish filet with pickled vegetables (actually doesn't taste pickled), tasty TW ground pork rice, lamb with green onion, and pork with dry bean curd. I especially like their beef roll with green onion because it's not oily and refreshing because they put cucumber in the roll. What's also great about Full House is they are right next to Who's Tea, so you can get boba or mochi waffles for dessert! read more

7/22/17 In "the other world," that Far East right here in the West, this restaurant is the buzz. It's the rave. Just opened, and even before they open at 11am there's a line. Clearly they got their advertising down... ... by getting (probably but can't be sure friends, family, and...) hordes of lemmings to post on various Facebook Asian foodie pages, WeChat, etc., exclaiming how amazing this restaurant is. Well, I say "lemmings" because either they are straight up lying, or really are so indiscriminate that they are perfectly at home in the echo chamber. Look, the modern-Asian look is definitely a good thing. And the service isn't horrific--at least they all speak English, though still, no one is going to serve you unless you wave them down, but hey we all expect that. It's all okay to me at true Chinese places, just give me good food... 1. Szechuan Beef Tripe Plate $6.25: I do like the slightly sweet and heavy flavor, but no, it's not at all Szechuan. There is zero heat of any kind. But still, the meat is firm and fresh, which is different than how tripe is traditionally braised. Unfortunately the cuts are far too thick and kinda got gross after eating half the plate. Really felt like I was eat guts (well, I guess I was but you know...) 3/10 2. Beef Roll with Green Onion $6.95: THE VERY MOST WORST BEEF ROLL I'VE HAD IN MY LIFE. I've had my fair share. SoCal Monterey Park / Rowland Heights / San Gabriel... hells yeah. Taiwan. China. And a few places here. Never had one I hated 'till now. The pancake was sooooo doughy it was just straight up gross. Very little meat too, though admittedly, the little they have was flavored well. But that onion pancake was just amazingly horrific. Also, they do not give you sauce, which every other place does. 1/10 3. Juicy Pork Dumplings 6 Pieces $5.95: Their Xiao Long Bao XLBs. Definitely Taiwanese style--imagine Din Tai Fung with that ultra thin wrapping, and little cute meatball inside, surrounded by juice. Was pretty good to be honest. Skin was extremely thin, and held up despite being tender. Plenty of delicious and flavorful juice. Good stuff--you might actually like these better than the Din Tai Fung in Santa Clara! 8/10 4. Juicy Dumplings with Loofah Shrimp 6 Pieces $7.95: LIES. There is ZERO juice in these. And they're nearly vegetarian--just a small piece of shrimp inside, but tastes 90% melon, 10% shrimp. Cooked well, but the name was offensively off. Definitely needs more shrimp, and JUICE. 1/10 5. Fried Pork Intestines with String Beans $11.95: LIES LIES LIES. So, there's a picture of this dish in the menu, which clearly shows BATTERED DEEP FRIED intestines, and possibly also fried string beans (hard to tell though.) The picture looked so good, with crispy golden fried intestines, which I've never had. I REALLY had a craving for something fried, so I was looking forward to this the most. Well........ you know what's coming..... yeah, it wasn't fried. Pan-fried with the beans yeah, but nothing I haven't had a hundred times everywhere else. The string beans were also a bit overcooked. (I will note, the Chinese writing does translate as "stir-fried" but again, they have a picture that clearly is not what they gave us, and you can read the English.) Heard so many good reviews about this place, and would like to personally try it out. Since they serve authentic Taiwanese foods, as of the real Taiwanese I will need to tell you if they are legit or not. I came with my group of coworkers during lunch time, luckily this place took my reservation of a party of 8, so there was no wait time to be seated. It was good to go with a big group for trying out new restaurant, so you could order a lot of dishes and try variety. We've got so many of the dishes, because each order was surprisingly small and the price was on on the pricey side. Loofah XLB, Pork XLB - only came with 6pcs per order, the wrap was skin and each was too small. These were OK. Beef Roll & Egg and Cheese Green Onion Pancakes - these were pretty delicious, decent! Eggplant Pork in Clay Pot - this was pretty BOMB, small order but sharing for 8ppl, but the sauce was flavorfully strong and pretty salty, please order yourself a bowl of rice to eat along or eat lots of water. 3 cups Chicken - the chicken was very tender, but it didn't taste like the 3cups chicken as how I remembered when I grew up. It seemed like the dish didn't cook long enough to bring up the actual 3cups chicken smell which involved strong garlicky, basil and with a hint of rice wine. This was simply just stir-fried chicken in the clay pot with jalapeño and garlic for garnish. Not authentic at all, so not impressive at all. Tofu Bean Curd with Sliced Pork - this was decent, very homemade style like how my mom would cook it. Decent enough to eat with another bowl of rice lolz. Egg Tofu(?) - Dont remember the exact name but, this was so freaking DELICIOUS and BOMB. These were so good with the sauce the bottom that we had to order 2 of them. This is definitely a must try!! The service was okay, the staff wasn't attentive. I had to raise my hand to get her attention for water refill, order additional dish or ask for check. Foods were average, serving portion too small like 6pcs XLB per order with teeny tiny juicy bao (I don't know man, this is pretty pricey to me). My family and I came here around 12:30 pm on a Saturday and the wait was over 30 minutes. The seating here is pretty cramped and the place seemed a bit understaffed. The waiters were constantly running around and it took a while to get their attention to order, refill tea, get the check, etc. For food, we ordered juicy pork dumplings (each order came with 6), juicy pork with crab dumplings, shrimp fried rice, fish filet with pickled vegetables, and the crab seafood tofu clay pot. The juicy/soup dumplings (xiao long bao) were very mediocre. The wrapper was decent but the filling was way too salty and the flavor was not very memorable. I also couldn't taste the difference between the ones with and without crab meat, so it was definitely not worth paying extra for those. The other food was pretty good though! The shrimp fried rice had a good amount of shrimp, the fish had a nice blend of vegetables, and the tofu in the clay pot was amazing! If I came here again, I'd definitely pass on the soup dumplings and get the other dishes instead. read more

This review is exclusively for the food. We've only ever ordered takeout and never actually sat inside and ate. However, when we pick up food on weekends during lunchtime, it's always been packed inside. Our favorites so far: * Mapo Tofu - different from how most other restaurants make this - in a good way! * Hot & Sour Soup * Sweet Corn Soup * Potstickers - very juicy! * Braised tofu and mushroom pot I would definitely be interested in dining in sometime and having the dumplings they make there. The potstickers probably taste even better fresh, and I'm curious to see how their XLB taste but I really think they should be eaten fresh. I came here with my family and we ordered several dishes to try out, including their XLBs, Sichuan boiled fish, chow mein, and stir fried cabbage. Each one of these dishes was pretty mediocre. The Sichuan boiled fish tasted like it was made using a pre-made powdery soup base. and the XLBs didn't taste as fresh and soupy as we had hoped. The dishes were also on the pricier side. read more

We ordered juicy pork dumpling (xlb), beef roll with green onion and braised beef noodle. Everything I had was mediocre and was kinda disappointed with the rave my friends been giving this place. The xlb the soup lacked flavor and wasn't much soup in it. defn think the place next door I Shanghai is slightly better. But of course din Tai Fung still trumps them all. The beef roll was very bland. And the beef noodle wasn't what I expected. The noodles were a little bit on the wide side and thick. I think I prefer the thinner noodles but even the soup itself was meh. Might come back and try other stuff but we shall see read more

I love dumplings . Full house has some really interesting ones. They have loads of parking and the business next to them are also serving food like bakeries, boba, other south East Asian so prefect for food hopping or a dessert after your meal. The way it is laid out gives you a feel of a school cafeteria as it's a long hall with chair n tables in a row. So ambience is zero. The wait area n the area to order are so weirdly laid out it's non user friendly. Food is decent though. We ordered lamb, chicken and fish dumplings and egg omelet stuffed with a veggie filling. This place is pretty good. Not bad for a XLB place. If you're ever around the Fremont area and don't want to wait at any XLB, this would be it. The place is pretty big and most customers usually just eat,pay and leave. They dont dwell. Staff were pretty friendly but there was a language barrier so it was a tad bit hard to communicate but that wasn't the reason why I deducted a star, don't get triggered peeps. Many reason why I deducted one star, I'm reasonable. The table was so small, max you can fit is like 2 medium bowls and most of their plates that comes with XLB is like 2 inches wider in diameter than the bowls, the XLB skin was super thin, even with magnificent chopstick skills, you will still punctured it. One of the worker, she just slid out beef pancake roll on the table and I'm just thinking to myself if I didn't catch that plate, what would she do ? Anyways she was the only worker who was a tad rude but the food was pretty good so that was just enough to excuse her behavior. read more

The short: new go-to spot for Taiwanese food Though this place is a dumpling house, their strengths lie in the dishes not commonly found at other establishments. Interestingly, there is nothing too extraordinary about the food and it's more about the quality of food that's done properly compared to other establishments that have something amiss. We ordered: - XLB (soup dumplings): have had better elsewhere, though they provided individual dipping sauces (nice bonus) - Boneless drunk chicken: chilled, fresh, cooked well, and light in flavor - Fish filet with pickled vegetables: tender and delicious fish - Beef roll with green onion: good with plenty of green onions, though I prefer mine more crispy and with a hoisin sauce mix The staff are attentive and friendly, moving efficiently and effortlessly. The layout is relatively modern and the lighting is cool. The tables are higher than average, though it doesn't deter from the overall dining experience. There are two tv screens, one with a slideshow of food pictures and of their other locations in Taipei while the other showed calming landscape photos. All you need to order is their XLB dumplings! Food: - Shrimp and loofah XLB: must get!!! It was my first time having xlb with this filling and oh man it is now one of my favorite kind of xlb. Loofah gave the xlb a tender and juicy texture. Skin is pretty thin. Shrimp is very fresh... sooo goooodd - crab roe xlb: also a great dish. Not as unique as the shrimp xlb. But I would totally prefer this one over ding Tai Fung's. It is a little big bigger and juicer. - beef pancake rolls: this one was good, but wasn't great. It was a little dry for my taste. I wish the pancake part was more hot and crispy. - red bean sesame pancake: I was looking forward to this dish. But the red bean paste was a bit too sweet for me, was overwhelming after having just one slice. Overall, I would definitely come back to this place just for their excellent xlb dumplings. This place is unprofessional. They almost never pick up the phone. When they do pick up, they pick up after many rings. Hard to take a business seriously that repeatedly fails to answer a call after the 3rd ring. One time I called and after about 10 rings, I finally hung up. About 5 minutes later, a lady from the restaurant called me and asked did I just call and if I would like to order food. Of course! Recently this place suddenly went dark for no reason or explanation. As if they were on unannounced vacation. Way better options in Fremont and Newark. read more

Sweetness of the crab meat mix well with pork. Juicy Dumpling with Loofah Shrimp 蝦仁絲瓜湯包 Our server is nice to remind us today's loofah could be bitter, but it ends up not so bad. The loofah is crispy and brings total different flavor from regular XLB. Fish Steam Dumplings 鮮魚蒸餃 The fish is really fresh sealed inside. This is a Taiwanese restaurant in the plaza thats sort of up and coming. The food here is tasty. I went on a Friday night and there was parking but the place was packed. My dad ordered 2 kinds of steamed baos, red bean sesame pancake, taro noodle pot soup, green peas with intestine, three cup chicken. Everyone in our party of 5 really liked the food and it was filling. We had extra noodles and soup left over from the warm pot. I'd recommend the warm pot. This is another one of my favorite places for Xiao Long Bao! They have a lot of variety of Xiao Long Bao, such as fish, vegetarian, and crab. The portion size is also pretty decent and the price point is also not bad. Another favorite dish of mine is the green onion pancake. They have 2 different ones. One with the thick dough and one with thin dough. They also have one with cheese wrapped in it. Beef noodles soup was also pretty good. I would say that I like the noodles more than the beef. Staff also tries to be very nice but I feel like they are understaffed due to how busy they are during the peak hours. Overall, I really enjoyed myself. If you are coming during the peak hour head toward the cash register and write down your name on the list so that you are on the waiting list. When the menu item says "juicy", they aren't lying !!! GREEN ONION PANCAKE: Truly enjoyable - I love this dish and it's gReat to start with. There were 9 pieces, so it's a pretty size-able amount. GREEN BEANS: Crisp, savory, good little bits of onion and things but they can get salty! My friend wrapped the green onion pancake around the green beans to make a quasi burrito which was creative and a good pack of flavor. PORK DUMPLINGS: Pretty solid pork dumpling - exactly what you would expect from it. PORK DUMPLINGS WITH CRAB MEAT: My least favorite dish to be honest ... The filling didn't taste like it had crab meat in it. The only thing that differentiated it from the pork dumplings was the texture of the filling because the crab made it softer. It was Incredibly oily as well, so I didn't really enjoy this at all. POTSTICKERS WITH PORK AND CHIVE: Probably my favorite choice! They were pan fried to perfection and packed with enough perfection that you didn't even need to use the dipping sauce. This is a great place for dumplings. Our favorites are: regular (juicy pork), crab meat, and loofah dumplings. Each order comes with 6 pieces. I would say 2 order per person would be sufficient. We like the Cabbage dish. The pan cake is quite small. The xiaolongbao (dumpling) is the best. Due to Covid, we arrived Sunday evening and have plenty of seats available. The experience is great with less crowd, food came out much faster. read more

We went there for lunch on Sat. Good that we got there at 11:30am and the place was packed at noon. We ordered steamed dumplings, pork rice and beef noodle soup. We really liked the dumplings as the skin is thinner than most dumpling place, good flavor and taste great. Pork rice is fresh and not greasy, comfort food like what grandma would make. Noodle soup is good, come with flat noodle which is unique but some of the meat is slightly tough (need to cook longer to soften). Place is clean and service was good and prompt. Price is lower than most places - $5.95 for dumplings is lower than most places. Overall, great experience and satisfaction, we will return to try other dishes ! read more

This place has soooo much potential if they could just nail the filling of the dumplings. We came in here looking for Hainan Chicken but they ran out, so we went ahead and ordered off the other items on the menu. Had an overall decent experience here, food was good and dumplings were clearly above the area average. We ordered pork and crab dumplings, fish fillet with pickled veggies, and three cup chicken. If I was reviewing the dumplings alone it might be a four star review for me. First up, the fish fillet with pickled veggies: fish fillets were overcooked, even slightly burned. Veggies were the tasty part of this. Could be better if it wasn't burned. Three cup chicken: stay away from this. The flavors don't quite work in their version of the dish. Something isn't blending well. Dumplings: so these were clearly above average. The skin was very good, thin and didn't fall apart and the soup inside the dumplings was fantastic. Where they lose points is in the filling... it tasted ok but something is missing. It had the kind of powdery flavor that unseasoned ground meat has, rather than a juicy tender filling. It was a pleasant lunch for our group. Food was decent. The taro squid rice noodle soup was a star. It was big enough to feed 10 of us. Pork XLB were as good as usual. We also ordered beef noodle soup, mushi pork chow mein and several dishes (onion and ginger lamb, loofa with clams and shredded pork with beancurd).
