We were going to eat at Rosines, but they had a one and a half hour wait. Walked across the street, and found this excellent Chinese restaurant. The waiter was really good. Friendly and immediately assured me that the tofu soup was made with vegetable base. That was so important for me. And it was delicious. I also had the Jasmine tea and tofu soup which was excellent. Service was quick and food came piping hot. They have three sizes and that was good so I could order a personal size. My husband had the chef's special fish soup .. the quantity was enough to feed three comfortably. He also had the broccoli beef and loved both his dishes.

One of the most authentic spots I've tried...chef's are both old school chefs from China...great service too...a true gem

I was really disappointed with the Full Moon Kung Pao Chicken. The dish was loaded with whole dried chilies and whole Sichuan peppercorns, to the point that I was repeatedly chewing on them as if they were part of the protein. Sichuan peppercorns create a strong numbing effect and are typically infused into oil and strained out. Leaving them whole -- especially in delivery, where they soften and blend in -- made the dish unpleasant and impossible to eat. I picked out several tablespoons of chilies and peppercorns (photo attached), and there were even more removed earlier. This wasn't about spice tolerance; it was about execution. I would not order this again and wouldn't recommend it unless you specifically enjoy chewing whole peppercorns and dried chile pods.

The food was very tasty and came out quickly. We came in and there was only 2 other tables beside our own and they attended us quickly and politely. The restaurant was very clean and modern but casual. I would definitely come here again.

5 Stars We had a wonderful dining experience at Full Moon Asian Chinese Cuisine! We ordered the hot and sour soup, chow mein noodles, Kung Pao tofu, and garlic chicken--everything was absolutely delicious. I'm vegan and really appreciated how easy it was to customize my food. The server was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, making sure everything met our dietary preferences. The flavors were rich and comforting, just like homestyle Chinese cooking should be. My family and kids enjoyed every bite. It's rare to find a place that balances flavor, warmth, and service so well. We'll definitely be stopping by again the next time we're in the area. Thank you for the excellent food and hospitality!

We booked Stokes Adobe for table of 8 (including two small toddlers) They brought out little coloring paper & crayons which was super nice of them. We were seated in a private area which was nice since our two small toddlers like to walk around and it's less distraction. We did family style and ordered a bit of everything! Crispy potatoes: Love the carbs! The potatoes were crispy and delicious. The lemon truffle crema sauce was so yummy! Oysters: Definitely order half shell oysters! They were delicious! Hamachi: This was okay, nothing special to be honest sinc Mussels: This one was also delicious as well. It was made with white wine and tomato broth with butter, shallot, garlic. Beets salad: You can't go wrong with ordering a beet salad! The honey vinaigrette was delicious! Santa Cruz King Salmon: This dish was simple but tasty. The Meyer lemon sauce went well with the salmon. 12oz Pork chop: The meat was soft and easy to bite into. The cauliflower puree was delicious! Snake River American Wagyu: I thought the steak was okay. It was a bit too rare for me personally but my husband liked it! Brussels sprouts: Yummmm! Love the crispy Brussels sprouts. Overall service was great and the food was good. The only downside of the night was not getting the duck liver mousse toast. Not sure why the order went through when we mentioned in the beginning but hope to try it next time we're in town.

The presentation of the bread and oysters was great. The grilled artichoke was fine but not worth the price, I prefer the Hillstone version better. The service was taking really long so we were giving some dishes compliments of the kitchen, which was really nice. The honey carrots were pretty good but not something I would order again. The fruit salad was beautiful and refreshing but felt more like a dessert. The striploin was also tasty, but the butter beans were so odd! The crispy eggplant and the beans were fine, but the eggplant got soggy in all the sauce and ended up being the most disappointing dish of the night. Overall I'll probably return at some point but I miss the old menu! I walked away feeling like these dishes missed the mark.

I wanted something to drink that wasn't sweet, so I tried their raspberry ice tea. They used a sugary syrup to flavor the tea, and that was a strike out. It was sweeter than a soda, so it went back and I swapped it out for a plain unsweetened ice tea. Then we tried the cheesy garlic bread, which we were really looking forward to. Welp, it came out with mozzarella cheese and a ton of corn. No butter. No garlic. We all looked at each other when we tried it. Ok, let's try their brussel sprouts. Those are hard to mess up - but sure enough, they managed to. They deep fried them to the point they were black and charred. There wasn't anything left of the brussel sprout itself, it was mostly crunchy charcoal. At this point, we all ordered something we assumed would be safe for our main. I got the sliders and a side salad. I had the salad but only of the sliders. The cheese on it was queso, like you use to dip chips, so it was ran all over the place and the burger was a grease ball. I won't even get into what everyone else had, but they had similar experiences. Overall, it was pretty disappointing. Maybe there are other things or other times where this place is better, but it was a swing and a miss for us.

The food is great, though portions were smaller than expected given the cost, and some dishes weren't necessarily as memorable as I'd hope. It's possible that had something to do with dietary restrictions (the kitchen is incredibly accommodating).Everything was wonderful on the plate, but sometimes I wanted more of it (the pork was notably thin, for example, and the cod was a two-bite piece).
