Came here for dinner with grandma tonight. She really liked it, but I thought it was only okay. For apps we got the chicken satay and egg rolls. For dinner, I got the pumpkin curry and grandma got a Thai noodle spaghetti like dish. The pumpkin curry had a nice spice to it, but I thought it was weird it came with artichoke hearts. Yes! Finally was able to go and try this Thai restaurant and I was thoroughly pleased. The staff are very personable and helpful. Lettie immediately came to our table to ask what drinks we might like. I ordered two Thai Teas, one with a milk alternative of coconut milk. They arrived promptly and mine was delicious. The menu is quite extensive with lots of items to choose from. I had a difficult time with my final decision which was Pad Mama with tofu. My husband ordered the Orange Chicken. When his food arrived he remarked about the plating which was very orderly with none of the food overlapping which he appreciated. I had asked for the spicyness of my dish to be on the mild side which it was. I enjoyed the vegetables crispness and the tofu was very flavorful. Extra spices are available if you ask for them. The prices are reasonable two entrees and two beverages came to under $50.00. I am looking forward to returning to sample some of the many other dishes on the menu. We had lunch here a couple weekends ago, and the standout dish is their exceptional mango sticky rice. Our server (MC) was a cutie and genuinely friendly. She explained that pandan was the flavor that made the mango sticky rice better than usual. We started with delicious Fried Shrimp rolls and some hot tea. The young male server gave my hot water in a glass, so I had to ask for a tea cup. He also took a while with the tea. Loved my Ga Pao Gai Sub (minced chicken with Thai basil, topped with a fried egg). Also loved the art on their walls. We'll definitely come back when we're in town! read more

We walked in on a Friday evening & were seated immediately. Overall clean & fresh food that wants a little more punch and depth to the flavors. The sticky rice & mango was the favorite as it was perfectly cooked, and ripe. The soup broth & curry ingredients needed a bit more simmering to reach that depth you get from the fusion of ingredients and to permeate the veggies, and the fried rice would be good to add some tomatoes or some acid to balance the dish. Curry could benefit from zucchini, as my body wanted more green vegetable. It would be nice to add some more creative Thai appetizers, as we didn't feel drawn to order them - we prefer authenticity over fusion. We'll have to go back to try the usual favorites like the noodles & noodle soups, which the server told us are popular. My dad liked his Thai coffee boba, nice & strong. It would be really lovely to have a fire going in the fireplace on the weekends to make it cozy! Service was good & staff was friendly! With plenty of free parking, located next to PG's Trader Joes on Forest Avenue. This place offers an excellent selection of traditional Thai cuisine, with many vegetarian options. Good luck! They messed up our take out order. Papaya salad and mixed veggies with tofu. Ahi salad instead. We don't eat meat. Not a big deal. Took it back to pick up something that was anything but a papaya salad. It had string beans, a little bit of green papaya and red rotten tomatoes with lots of iceberg lettuce. I think they should take it off the menu. Mixed veggies with tofu was barely OK. It was dry. All orders come with a very, very small container of rice. You have to pay more for rice. Not very happy for the prices they are charging. We live in the neighborhood and will not be back. This was our second order. The waitress needs to repeat the order back clearly so that she is clear when she orders then that kind of mistake would never happen. I think it's important to look people in the eye and apologize sincerely. She kept saying it's OK. It's not OK to drive back exchange my order not have someone look in the eye and say thank you. read more

I love Love Thai and I recently moved here from Silicon Valley where there are a huge amount of great Thai restaurants. Love Thai food is cooked perfectly, the atmosphere is comfortable, the service is great. Even the wine offerings are a nice variety, with just a few choices but good choices. Besides Drunken Noodles, I had the Ga Pao Gai Sub and it was wonderful. I had no idea what it was but it's similar to "basil chicken" which is my go-to but I didn't see that specifically on the menu. If you're a fan, try it! Husband really enjoyed the Panang Curry, also unsure what it would be like. Great! We also enjoy Pacific Thai and are happy to have 2 great choices of Thai restaurants close by. Now, if only we can find a good Chinese restaurant nearby. Turns out we knew Love Thai's Anna from her prior restaurant on Reindollar in Marina. My husband wandered in to Love Thai to choose takeout and enjoy a beer while waiting. Lo and behold, Anna remembered him, and it has been 10 years! Brought home Pad Prik King and Panang Curry, both with chicken. Also Fresh Rolls with Tofu as our starter. Beautiful food, ample portions. The Panang Curry gravy is so delicious, velvety over the plentiful and also velvety chicken, sliced carrot and green beans. That curry gravy is remarkably good. Tofu fresh rolls with Thai basil and peanut sauce were made to order, clean, healthy, a little chew, and yummy. I didn't try the Pad Krik King but my partner ate 2 plates, so there is that. Next time we will bring friends and dine in. Bring back the Corn Fritters, oh my! read more

Rude and unwelcoming service - We arrived at 8:30 PM, well before closing, but were only allowed to place a to-go order and we were okay with that, but woman taking our order (possibly the owner's daughter) was visibly impatient, curt, and dismissive--even refusing a simple request for a few mins to decide what we wanted to order (that too, a to-go order) We felt rushed the entire time, and when our food was handed to us, we were quickly told "bye" as if they couldn't wait for us to leave. These two mother daughter duo seemed very nice to other customers eating there, but not the same with us at all! The food might be decent, but the service was cold, dismissive and unprofessional. The restaurant was listed as open, but when I walked in the door at 3:45, I was told that they were closed until 4. We came back at 4. The menu is...odd. It does not appear to have been proofread by a native english speaker which lead to me being confused about what some dishes were. They also had unusual items for a Thai restaurant like fish and chips and something that involved fried chicken and a hot dog. My partner had the yellow curry, which he really enjoyed. I had pad prik king, which was fine enough. I think this is the first time I've been to a Thai restaurant that didn't offer levels of spice (my dish was mild). This place was straight up trash. I waited almost 2 hours just to get my food, and when it finally came out, my order was completely wrong. The lady who took my order had a nasty attitude the whole time and clearly didn't care. The only thing that was even remotely decent was the orange chicken -- everything else was garbage. For how overpriced this food is, it did not live up to the price at all. The portions were small, the quality was low, and the whole experience was a waste of time and money. Our group of two couples had a wonderful dining experience at Love Thai Cuisine Restaurant. The service was excellent, the place is very clean and the food was tasty. We ordered potstickers and calamari for appetizers, both really good. Then we each chose a dish: Panang Curry, just a touch hot, Yellow Curry, Pad See Ew noodles with tofu and Fried Rice with shrimp. We shared all and found all to be great. They brought a set of spicy condiments which gave each person the chance to make their dish as spicy as they chose. This was advantageous for me since I can't eat very hot food and so it didn't preclude me from eating all the dishes while others spiced them up on their plates. All in all it was a great meal and I can't see why others are complaining. I love a small family-owned restaurant off the beaten path. We will definitely return. read more

The seared ahi was prepared perfectly in nice presentation and the tofu vegetables were delicious -- not greasy at all and not over-salted. (Person on the phone told me a large order just cam in before mine so add 10+ min to the usual 10-15 min pick up time. Love it.) Had the Fried Shrimp Roll appetizer . Shrimp rolled in a light wrapper and deep fried. Very tasty with dipping sauce. Six pieces to the order. On to the Pumpkin Curry. Among the very best I've had Nice tender chunks of pumpkin in a light coconut curry. Had the chicken for protein and it was a very generous serving. The addition of artichokes is genius. Don't really need rice with this dish, but it does help soak up that luscious curry sauce. Final dish was the Drunken Noodles with Shrimp. Scrumptious! The panang curry had good flavor but the fact that it didn't come with rice was very disappointing since I had to make it when I got home...the Thai fried rice lacked overall flavor, and the drunken noodles were fine. Went to this new restaurant on a Saturday night at around 7:30. Restaurant was about 90% full, but we were seated promptly. It took the waitress a long time to get to us. We had Pot Stickers for our appetizer; they were excellent. We had Pad Thai and Pad Prik Khing, both with chicken, for our entrees. They were both good but not great. When I ordered the Pad Prik Khing I requested "medium spicy", but the waitress said "We don't do that here, the food only comes one way". That is unusual for a Thai restaurant. The Pad Prik Khing was bland. It would be the equivalent of "mild" in a regular Thai restaurant. The good news is the meat and the vegetables were very fresh tasting. The rice and drinks were also good. Overall it was a positive experience, but they need to give diners an option to have their preferred spice level, like all other Thai restaurants do. read more
