Yes! Finally was able to go and try this Thai restaurant and I was thoroughly pleased. The staff are very personable and helpful. Lettie immediately came to our table to ask what drinks we might like. I ordered two Thai Teas, one with a milk alternative of coconut milk. They arrived promptly and mine was delicious. The menu is quite extensive with lots of items to choose from. I had a difficult time with my final decision which was Pad Mama with tofu. My husband ordered the Orange Chicken. When his food arrived he remarked about the plating which was very orderly with none of the food overlapping which he appreciated. I had asked for the spicyness of my dish to be on the mild side which it was. I enjoyed the vegetables crispness and the tofu was very flavorful. Extra spices are available if you ask for them. The prices are reasonable two entrees and two beverages came to under $50.00. I am looking forward to returning to sample some of the many other dishes on the menu. Definitely Love this Thai!!

We had lunch here a couple weekends ago, and the standout dish is their exceptional mango sticky rice. Our server (MC) was a cutie and genuinely friendly. She explained that pandan was the flavor that made the mango sticky rice better than usual. We started with delicious Fried Shrimp rolls and some hot tea. The young male server gave my hot water in a glass, so I had to ask for a tea cup. He also took a while with the tea. Loved my Ga Pao Gai Sub (minced chicken with Thai basil, topped with a fried egg). Also loved the art on their walls. We'll definitely come back when we're in town!

Sticky rice & mango was our best dish! Fresh mango & perfectly cooked sticky rice.

We walked in on a Friday evening & were seated immediately. Overall clean & fresh food that wants a little more punch and depth to the flavors. The sticky rice & mango was the favorite as it was perfectly cooked, and ripe. The soup broth & curry ingredients needed a bit more simmering to reach that depth you get from the fusion of ingredients and to permeate the veggies, and the fried rice would be good to add some tomatoes or some acid to balance the dish. Curry could benefit from zucchini, as my body wanted more green vegetable. It would be nice to add some more creative Thai appetizers, as we didn't feel drawn to order them - we prefer authenticity over fusion. We'll have to go back to try the usual favorites like the noodles & noodle soups, which the server told us are popular. My dad liked his Thai coffee boba, nice & strong. It would be really lovely to have a fire going in the fireplace on the weekends to make it cozy! Service was good & staff was friendly! Hoping they can keep refining the cooking to succeed.

Delicious Drunken Noodles, I ordered spicy!

I love Love Thai and I recently moved here from Silicon Valley where there are a huge amount of great Thai restaurants. Love Thai food is cooked perfectly, the atmosphere is comfortable, the service is great. Even the wine offerings are a nice variety, with just a few choices but good choices. Besides Drunken Noodles, I had the Ga Pao Gai Sub and it was wonderful. I had no idea what it was but it's similar to "basil chicken" which is my go-to but I didn't see that specifically on the menu. If you're a fan, try it! Husband really enjoyed the Panang Curry, also unsure what it would be like. Great! We also enjoy Pacific Thai and are happy to have 2 great choices of Thai restaurants close by. Now, if only we can find a good Chinese restaurant nearby. I think we've tried 'em all and they are all sub-par.....

Rude and unwelcoming service - We arrived at 8:30 PM, well before closing, but were only allowed to place a to-go order and we were okay with that, but woman taking our order (possibly the owner's daughter) was visibly impatient, curt, and dismissive--even refusing a simple request for a few mins to decide what we wanted to order (that too, a to-go order) We felt rushed the entire time, and when our food was handed to us, we were quickly told "bye" as if they couldn't wait for us to leave. These two mother daughter duo seemed very nice to other customers eating there, but not the same with us at all! The food might be decent, but the service was cold, dismissive and unprofessional. Not the kind of hospitality you'd expect from a family-run business.

New Thai place! Need to check it out ASAP!

We love supporting our local restaurants especially new ones. Although we have not eaten here yet we walked in on our way home to check it out. Smells and atmosphere were great. Menu looks solid. We will be back soon!! We just want to support the Love Thai family and hope you guys are a huge success. We also LOVE Thai food!!!

The vegan Pineapple Curry with faux chicken was delicious, as was the Papaya Salad!! We shall return the next time we're in Monterey!

It's warm, clean, and inviting. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. Some of my favorite dishes are the fresh rolls with peanut sauce, the Thai salads, and the mixed vegetables with peanut sauce. I love their Thai Tea! What truly sets this restaurant apart, though, is the exceptional hospitality. Sam, the owner, is very kind and always welcoming. He's always greeting guests with a smile and genuinely makes you feel appreciated. One Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day, (I can't remember which one) my family arrived late after the restaurant was already full. Even though they were busy and were closing soon, Sam welcomed us in. That kindness meant so much to us, and it's something I'll never forget. Between the outstanding food, authentic atmosphere, and incredible service, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend Siamese Bay Restaurant and will definitely be back! See you soon Sam!

The Pad Thai was definitely the highlight, perfectly cooked noodles coated in a rich, balanced sauce, and the beef was tender and flavorful. You really can't go wrong with it. The Panang Curry was also very enjoyable. The curry itself was creamy and full-bodied, and pairing it with rice really brought out the depth of flavor. I ordered it with chicken, which was good, but I do wish there had been a bit more of it. The Tom Kah Kai was incredibly rich and aromatic. The broth had a deep, comforting flavor, and the mushrooms were surprisingly the star, soaking up the soup and adding an extra layer of umami that made each bite better than the last. Service was fast and attentive, with the staff consistently checking in and keeping water filled, which I appreciated. The ambiance had a nice, authentic feel that really complemented the meal and made the whole experience more immersive.

Parking can be difficult as they are located in downtown Carmel. Came in a bit early to try to be seated earlier but they were fully booked so we waited for our designated reservation time. They always serve you with complimentary bread service of focaccia in garlic infused olive oil & balsamic vinegar. We had grilled calamari and crispy garlic fries for starters. Our main dishes were Seafood pasta, Gyros Platter, Prawn Pasta, Osso Buco and Steak of the Day - 16 oz sirloin in peppercorn sauce. Dessert was cookie butter banana pie and complimentary baklava. Tree House cafe is a cozy rooftop restaurant with shaded outdoor seating as well as indoor seating located in the heart of Carmel. They're a mixture of Mediterranean, Greek and Thai flavors. Reasonably priced, friendly atmosphere, pet friendly and good food. What more can you ask for. Definitely a must try when in this side of town. June 2026

The first thing they brought out was bread with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette and, no joke, that ended up being my favorite bite of the meal. I was still thinking about the bread while eating everything else, which probably says more than I intended. The clam chowder was good and comforting, but if you've had chowder in Monterey, you know the bar is pretty high. The calamari was the bigger disappointment. It was chewy instead of tender and didn't have that light, crispy crunch that makes calamari worth ordering in the first place. By the time we finished the chowder and calamari we were full, but we still looked through the menu to see if anything tempted us. Honestly, nothing really stood out. The pasta prices felt steep, and there wasn't a dish that made us say, "Okay, we have to come back and try that." The only thing that really took away from the experience was how close the tables were. I could hear the people next to us whispering and accidentally became invested in a conversation I was never invited to. Overall, it's a cute place with great service and a nice ambiance that's worth checking out if you're visiting Carmel. I don't regret going, but I also don't see myself going back. On the bright side, at least the bread gave me something to remember. Someone in that kitchen deserves a raise for that basket alone.
