I had to have my carpets cleaned on a specific Saturday due to a move-out situation. I had neglected to schedule for the carpets and started my search. After going through several, I found RD to have very good reviews. I called them and they were able to accomadate my late request. They even sent out a reminder email a couple of days before. Unfortunatly I did not pay attention to the date. I got a call the day before it was scheduled for with someone telling me the tech was on his way! I told them "no!", that it was supposed to be the next day as I was physically moving that day. They were able to get me scheduled for the next day and all was well. The two technicians were professional and prompt. The service was great and I will have no problem using them in the future. read more

I had a terrible experience with them. We needed something really soon granted, but I don't feel like we should have been treated or quoted what we were: the guy, I think his name was Chris showed up and did a decent job and seemed really friendly at first, and than basically said we had to tip him. We were honestly planning on it until he seemed so entitled to it. It is called gratuity, not a handout. It really rubbed us the wrong way. He was really snarky and rude about it. We are good people and had full intentions of taking care of everybody that helped us but didn't because of the behavior we observed. We had no choice but to use them again and when we did, we were charged triple the amount for a place that was a quarter the size of our other one. It almost felt like payback because we didn't tip them. Oh and the lady in the front office could use a bit of an attitude adjustment as well, maybe it's just her but she came across very unpleasant at first too, that should've been enough of a warning. We THOUGHT they would be nice and we had high expectations with them being local but honestly anywhere else in town would've been a better option. Jonah is the man! I chose Full Steam because of their reviews and they use the truck mounted cleaners which are much more powerful than the portable ones. I just purchased my home and the previous owner left some urine stains in one of the rooms. We originally had one of the techs come out to do a full cleaning and although he did a great job, there was still a smell of urine in the one bedroom. I called Jonah and he came out the very next morning to fix this. He ended up pulling back the carpet to reveal the huge stains on the back side. He then cleaned the pad, back of carpet and re-cleaned the top side. Total process took about 1.5 hours and he did this all for free to make sure we were taken care of. STAY AWAY!! My team and I produce one of the largest art-installations out at Burning Man every year and we needed to clean the carpets so that the effects of our installations were maximized. I called around Reno weeks before the trip and found these guys. Told them I'd be sending a team out from the desert with carpets rolled up and ready if they had a warehouse or parking lot to do these at their site... the owner (Andrew) agreed and quoted me a price after we discussed square footage. The day came and I sent a team out from the desert with the carpets among other errands they had to do in town. The owner (Andrew) wasn't there but the general manager was and he wouldn't do the carpets unless we paid 5x the quoted amount. He claimed that Andrew didn't tell him about this and he highly doubts Andrew would approve such a low price for the job. I asked him politely to get a hold of Andrew to discuss, he claimed Andrew was unavailable. My guys we're stuck in Reno (2.5hrs away from the project), without a place to clean these carpets, without an appointment, with nothing. The guy wouldn't budge, I was willing to meet him halfway with the pricing to save the day but he refused. We could have made a appointment with another company had they just turned the project down before. Not only did they not hold true to their word but they f***** us. I make the effort to write this to warn you. Proceed with caution, record conversations, get email confirmations, do what you can before doing business with these guys. They rented an Albertsons-type shampooer, parked the trucks to obscure view from security and cleaned enough of the carpets before getting kicked out of a Wal-Mart parking lot for cleaning them :) better than nothing. read more

First off they did a great job cleaning my carpets. They also were quick to schedule with. However the guy Paul who came to clean my carpets made me feel like I was an inconvenience. He was overly cocky and rude. He also made it seem like it wasn't a big deal because they were contracted through my apartment anyways so whatever they missed they'd come back and do when hired again. I believe because I hired you it should be done correctly and right the first time it doesn't matter if you're going to be called back in I'm paying for the full service. But my carpets in the end did look good. While paying with a card he seems super agitated that I did not have a check instead. If by chance I use them again I will request a different guy to come clean I want to feel like I'm appreciated as a customer especially working in customer service myself. read more

Just got our carpets cleaned today before holiday guests start arriving. Don did a great job of tackling a few pet stains and a lot of stairs. He was especially considerate of the kids' rooms and cats while he was here. He put in hard labor to get our carpets finished fast (way faster and better than I have with a rental machine). Don was quiet but very professional, kind, and competent. I am happy with the carpets (prefer deep cleaning with steam over other companies that use dry Chem) and we'll be asking for Don again. read more

AMAZING response and AMAZING results!~ Jonah answered the phone at 8pm on Thursday night to help me with my rental house. My tenants moved out and behind them was left a HORRIBLE ODOR throughout the house... The only way I can describe the smell was HEAVY Dog urine mixed with the smell of a sweaty teen-aged boy. I had 2 scheduled appointments with this company to get my carpets cleaned and on both occasions, they no called no showed. I am 60 years old and moved all my furniture in a three bedroom apartment for them to clean my carpets and they never showed up. The first time they told me their entire crew called in sick and were in big trouble. The second time I just left a message and an hour past my appointment time, after my son helped me put all my furniture back, they called and said they could head right over. I told him no thank you, I'll go elsewhere. I was not going too give income to a company that has no decency to call their customers to let them know they will not show up. I just had my dog- and grandchildren-abused carpet cleaned by Paul and Paul, Jr., and couldn't be happier! The carpet looks like new again; I don't even want to walk on it, it looks so pretty! Thank you, guys. I would definitely recommend and use Real Deal again! ****UPDATE*** Sadly, I have to revise my review. Now that the carpet has dried and I was able to vacuum out the rake marks, I see that stains in several areas did not, in fact, come out and the carpet doesn't look like new. Since virtually all of the stains were just normal use stains - no pet urine, blood, wine, or even food stains - I am a little surprised. Additionally, a lot of the raking didn't disappear with the vacuuming and I am not sure if they are, in fact, rake tracks or uneven cleaning; time and repeated vacuuming should answer that question. I'm not going to detail every little thing I have now noticed, and don't get me wrong - for the most part the carpet looks better than it did and, since it wasn't exTREMELY expensive, I could see myself calling them again in the future. It's just not as fabulous as I initially thought when it was all raked up, and I no longer feel it warrants five stars. I do, now, regret paying extra to have the great room scotch-guarded, as now I wonder if the stains that didn't come out have been "sealed" in. Guess I will find out the next time the carpets are cleaned! read more

All we can say is great job. I bought my house 8 years ago and never realized that the carpet in the living room was gray until yesterday. The carpet had always looked like a light tan color till Real Deal did an incredible job. I am disabled and not able to move my furniture so I told them to just steam clean around it. They moved everything and did not charge us extra. We are really really happy with the job they did and we will refer them to anyone that needs there services. The guys showed up right on time after calling to let me know they were 20 minutes away, which I really appreciated. I was considering replacing my carpet this year because it was so filthy and worn in our high traffic areas but decided to have it cleaned to get by for a little while longer. I always have the carpets cleaned in the spring but the high traffic area has always still looked terrible. I hired Real Deal carpet cleaning based on customer reviews and the great price quote they gave me. My expectations weren't high for my sad, worn carpet but the results blew me away. My carpet hasn't looked this good in years. They brought in this big deep scrubber unit for the bad areas and the results are FANTASTIC. I am soooo thrilled. We have used Real Deal for the third time today. The previous two experiences were terrific, however things appear to have changed. I was quoted $89 for three rooms over the phone which was $10 cheaper than the last time we used them about three years ago. After Joe and his partner arrived we were asked if we'd care to have them add some "pre-cleaning" stuff and that it would greatly enhance the process. Later we were asked if we'd like for them to do some other stuff which would protect our carpets. The final bill came to $235. Not only that, but previously the guys would move furniture to get the carpets really clean. No more. They just cleaned AROUND the furniture. My wife and I are in our 70's so moving furniture can be a little dangerous for us. To go from $89 to $235 is quite steep, and then to see that they didn't even move furniture which is in the middle of the room is not like like Real Deal used to be and we'll find someone else next time we need a cleaning. We certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

I used this company last September (2019). The two employees (father and son, who represented themselves as the owners. What? So who's "Andrew?") pressured me into writing a review (after pressuring me into getting a "protectant" that I don't think I needed) and, at the time they left, the work looked adequate - so I wrote one. However, not very long after they left I started noticing areas that looked worse than before they "cleaned" them! So I revised my review to less favorable than it had been; I see that it no longer is even showing in the reviews. I am writing this again now because neighbors are asking for recommendations and I feel compelled to recommend NOT using this company. I just looked at my receipt and they wrote "carpet is moderate/heavily soiled in all areas" on it. Excuse me? At the time of the cleaning, the carpet was two years old, we were only using the home part-time as a second residence, and our very old, sedentary Golden Retriever NEVER ONCE had an accident in the house or, being a house dog, never even brought dirt in from the yard - which, btw, is completely covered with either pavers/rock and has NO exposed dirt areas at ground level. Under the dining table there were a few minor stains that should have easily been removed, but that was all! I won't be using them again, and have told my neighbors not to call them, either. read more
