    Lions stuffies

This place was super fun but pricey. Probably dropped $100+ on tokens and each claw game is 1-6 tokens. People who work there are SUPER friendly and willing to help you out with the games or if anything goes wrong. They literally will fluff up the items in the machines instead of stuffing them down making it extremely difficult for the claw to actually work. Super addictive claw games though! Definitely a Japanese based influence right in Novi. There's also a Japanese steakhouse right next door so make a night of it! Great for kids and they have a trade in- trade up option if you want to trade in smaller objects for more premium or larger stuffed figures. Plenty of different types of items to win. From small keychains to Pokemon and Disney characters. We took home two solid bags of stuffies and the kids had a blast collecting items. Will return and highly recommend it to any parents or anyone who likes to play these types of games.

After buying $40 in tokens my son ended up with one Napa cabbage stuffy (I'd be interested to know what Klawsome's cost is for the one we walked away with). I quickly realized that most of the claws had grippy rubber finger covers. On pretty much EVERY game at least one of the rubber grippy tips was missing; more frequently though at least two (or all), of the grippy rubber finger covers had fallen off (or been removed). My kiddo is really good at claw games but this place was pretty frustrating and pricey at $2-3 a try. He had several stuffies in his clutches and then they'd slip out at the last second. It happened over and over. It left me feeling like the deck was a little too stacked to be fun. We won't be back. I heard there's a good spot next to One World Market that's favorable... that's next on the list.

Everything is awesome at Klawsome! So I know the owners, which means I know firsthand all work and time they've put into opening Michigan's first claw machine arcade, inspired by family trips to other cities with clawcades and seeing how much the whole family enjoys them. I've loved what they've done with the space, located in a yet-to-be-fully-open Japanese lifestyle mall (there's a Paris Baguette fully operating next now)! At Klawsome, there's an assortment of cute plushies to win for your collection, a winners' wall where you MUST take a photo in, blind boxes, machines with smaller prizes (including one where everyone is a winner!), fun Asian snacks and more! Pro tip: If there's a special promotion you do NOT want to get there an hour into when it started like we did because it WILL be incredibly packed. Be sure to check out the plushie upgrade process, where you can trade in smaller plushies for a big one!

This place was so cute! I really liked the decorated wall full of plushies :) I think this is a nice place for kids and everyone to come check out. It was smaller than I expected so it felt crowded. It was nice that I could come check it out though!

This place is so super adorable and tons of fun, I actually came two days in a row with my child. I thought the people working here were so great, and so helpful. The selection of prizes is adorable and they tell me they switch them out often. I love the concept and will probably come back a bunch of times, even though I do not need any more cute stuffed animals. I like that there is a cafe next door, but wish this place was bigger and maybe offered food and drinks for parties. Since this is a new build and a new spot for business, perhaps if it does well they would be able to grow.

Such a cool spot and great family night or date night. Agnes, one of the owners, gave us the rundown on tokens, trading, and got us set up with a free bag for all of our winnings. The larger plushies are 2 tokens per play, and the smaller ones 1 token. We managed to win some great items and can't wait to go back

Great Filipino-owned business in a convenient location. While I waited for my spot at Chubby Cattle, I browsed through Klawsome and won two plushies with my partner. Employees were very accommodating to customers, and you are able to switch out plushies within the same machine upon request! Great selection of plushies and I definitely feel like it wasn't as difficult as other claw machine places like Round 1.

I think this place is a claw machine lovers dream come true. Lots of selection and things to do. I think kids would really like coming here. People were very friendly to work here. I didn't really try. However, I was able to see that people want some good stuff while they were here. Convenient location, lots of parking.

Discovered Klawsome while waiting for my table at Chubby Cattle nearby and so glad I did! This is a store filled with several claw machines that have plushies, trinkets, and snacks. It reminds me of the many claw machine shops that exist in Taiwan. The plushies were adorable and of variable sizes. I saw one claw machine filled with different types of instant ramen noodles. Fun little spot! Will defs be back!

Love this concept. Rows of claw machines filled with unique plushies. The machines are all identical, but each one has a theme of plushie inside. There are regular size plushie machines lining the walls and mini plushie/snack machines in the center. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They will even rearrange the toys to improve your chance of winning if you have trouble. The best thing is they will exchange your toy for any other one in the machine, so no worries if your favorite Pokemon or Sanrio character is not on top. You can also trade in for larger plushies or save stamps for later. Please support this adorable family owned small business!

Missy, the event coordinator, did an amazing job; she suggested vendors for us to use, all of which were great, and made sure everything looked perfect on the big day. I had bought some decorations that I wasn't certain would look the best because I was on a budget, but the staff arranged them better than i ever could've done and the wedding was more beautiful than I imagined. The food was also great, especially the salmon! Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Goodenough (1873-1947), prominent Detroit Attorney, charter member and first president of the Detroit Rotary Club, acquired this building and land surrounding it in 1915, naming it the Longacre House. The earliest portion was erected in 1869 by Palmer Sherman. The twentieth century saw several additions here including the impressive six-foot high stone wall constructed in 1917 along the east property line. In 1969, Goodenough heirs gave this handsome Georgian manor home and five acres of land to the Farmington area to be used as a community center. This facility hosts conferences and club meetings, numerous weddings and receptions, and recreation courses in crafts and the arts. Local citizens are proud of the Longacre House, which is an area landmark." I attended my fiancee's good friend's pellikoduku at the Longacre House. (A pellikoduku is a traditional Indian pre-wedding ceremony for the groom.) This house is located about 25 miles from downtown Detroit. It takes a little over 30 minutes to get to the house from downtown Detroit without any traffic. The house is owned and operated by the City of Farmington Hills. This is a beautiful historic brick home that's been well-maintained, inside and out. The outside is picturesque with finely-manicured lawns and nicely-landscaped grounds. I made sure to get a picture with my fiancee in front of the house where there is a nice brick pathway and colorful plants and flowers. The event took place inside what I believe is the Longacre House's main event space. It looks like a living room (with fireplace) that has been converted and combined with perhaps a back porch or patio area to serve as an open event space. There were five round white tablecloth tables set up with place settings (each table seating 12 people) along with buffet-style catered food and drink. The event space had a drink and dessert station while the salad, entrees, and sides were set up in a separate room nearby. The house was simple with minimal decor - nice chandeliers, curtains, and hardwood floors. There's a small garden and gazebo outside. I believe dinner catering was provided by Longacre House's in-house catering group, Gourmet Express Catering & Event Planning Group based out of South Lyon, Michigan. We had glasses of a fruit drink with slices of strawberry, purple grapes, and Mandarin oranges. Dinner consisted of spinach salad with croutons, an herb rice risotto, asparagus, lasagna, and a potato dish with vegetables cooked-in such as chopped carrots and squash. There was a coffee and dessert station with both regular and decaf coffee plus assorted dessert bites including what looked like brownie squares and baklava. In general, I thought the food was good. I love greens and vegetables so I got seconds on the spinach and asparagus. This was a fairly straightforward event. Aside from dinner, there was a pre-dinner gathering, sort of like a cocktail hour, where people mixed and mingled. After dinner, the actual pellikoduku activities commenced. There was also a mehndi (Indian body art) artist who applied red-orange mehndi "stains" to many of the female guests. Longacre House staff were present, but they were fairly hands-off as the food and drink were self-serve. They mainly made sure the food and drink stations were in order, replenished as needed, and cleared finished dinner plates. They were professionally (formally) dressed, polite, and did a good job throughout the night. If you get a chance to check out other rooms of the house or take a look around outside at the grounds, you should. It's a neat place to explore. There's plenty of parking too which is convenient for guests.
