In terms of having your motorcycle serviced here, they generally are very good. They operate on a first in/first out basis for regular service issues (oil changes, tires, etc.) I've found their prices to be pretty much in line with most other dealerships. However, I'm not sure I'd use them for any kind of specialty service. I stopped by to check into having my bike painted and having the chrome electroplated black. They were eager to do the work and the prices seemed reasonable...that was 8 weeks ago tomorrow. I still don't have my bike, and even though I told them I wasn't in a rush to get it back, I had assumed (apparently incorrectly) that a job like this shouldn't take more than 4 to 6 weeks. My biggest beef with the company is a lack of effort in responding to my inquiries as to the state of my project: I dropped my Honda VTX 1800N off on May 8, 2012. I first called to check on the status 4 weeks after dropping the bike off, on Monday, June11, 2012. I was told that Carl, the guy in charge of the service department, wasn't in that day and they would have him call me the next day. After waiting until 4:30 the next day, with no return call, I called and was connected to Carl. He informed me that they weren't done and that he needed to check with Greg, who I had worked with to set the project up, as to the state of the parts they were waiting for. Carl asked me to call back in half an hour so that he could check things out and get an answer for me. I called back 30 minutes later and was told by the girl who answered that Carl had 5 people in line at the service desk and would call me back. I received no return phone call that day or the next. I called on Friday, June 15, 2012, and asked to speak with Greg. Greg had a customer with him and I was told Greg would call me back. I received no return phone call. I called back on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, and asked to speak with Greg. I was connected and Greg apologized for the delay in getting back with me. Things at Full Throttle had been "crazy busy." Greg told me he was going to pick up the parts from the electro plater that very day and that he thought the bike would be ready by the end of the week. The end of the week came and went...no phone call regarding my project. I called and talked to Carl on Monday, June 25, to see if the bike was ready for pickup....nope still not done. Check back in a couple of days. I called and talked to Carl on Wednesday, June 27, to see if the bike was ready. Carl told me all the parts were in and that it should be done by Friday. I called on Friday, June 29, to see if the bike was done. Carl either wasn't in, or the girl who answered the phone couldn't find him. She said she didn't think it was done and that they were still waiting on some of the parts. I called on Monday, July 2, to see if the bike was done. Carl informed me that they were still waiting on some of the exhaust parts to come in (WTH...he told me the parts were all in last Wednesday.) Carl said everything was put back together with the exception of the exhaust. He asked if the phone number they had on file was a cell phone that could get picture texts. I told him yes and he said he'd take some pix of the bike and text them to me to "whet my appetite." I called back after hanging up with Carl and asked to speak to Greg, hoping to get a better feel for when they expect to have ALL the parts to put the bike together. Greg was on the phone with a customer, they took my info and said he'd call back...it's been 4 hours since I was told I'd get pictures and get a call back...and NOTHING! Like I said at the beginning, you want an oil change or your tires replaced then by all means bring it here. If you want something special...avoid this place like the plague.... read more

Purchased a used Aplilla from them, They charged me for delevery prep. It felt Squirrely on the way home, found tire pressure was low, luck was on my side that day. when i contacted them they said no way that was true, it obvious to me they never looked at bike. never assume its done. read more

"Buyer Beware" when buying a used bike. Was told the bike I purchased was fully serviced and in good shape. When I got the bike home, the service light was on, and the battery had a low voltage warning. Turns out the bike was not fully serviced, and I had to replace the battery, Also, the bike was advertised as having Heated Grips and having the TEC Mode for riding, it turns out that the bike was not equipped with either of these features from the factory. When the bike was delivered to my house, they delivered it on an open trailer, apparently they went down some dirt roads and the bike was covered in mud. Because it was a used bike, they make you sign documents stating it purchased as is, I have no recourse of getting any of these items taken care of or resolved. If your buying a used , do not trust this dealership, take to an independent mechanic and get it checked out 1st. read more

First time buying a new motorcycle, and add on top of it I live in Ohio (first major out of state purchase). These guys made it easy, but what stood out was the service after the sale. When I got it home (trailered it), I couldn't get it to start. It's late Saturday, so I just push her into the garage and end up having my local Kawasaki dealer (Iron Pony) pick it up to fix it. At the same time, I noticed the tool kit missing, and a price mistake on the paperwork. Not only did they send me the missing tool kit, but once I told them that it was a battery issue (which was covered under warranty) Scott sent me a charger to make sure I wouldn't have any issues with the new battery, and sent me a check to cover the price mistake (which I should've caught while I was there). They could've easily ignored my calls, but they didn't. This here is what earns my repeat business, and when it's time for a new toy, I'll be back for sure! read more

We purchased a 2021 YFZ 450 R from this location Sept 2021. Took it on a trip in April of 2022 and the machine started running horrible. Gas smell in oil with oil level gaining on the stick. Took it to Full Throttle and they stated we overfilled it and that machine was fine. When we went to pick up the machine battery was dead. We had purchased a three-year additional warranty with the new machine. They told us the battery was not covered even though they left the key on and killed it. Made us purchase a new battery and did not fix the original problem. Machine home for one day. Does not run correctly. The injector is still bad. The machine has 10.1 hours total on it. read more

the dealership is a scam. they advertise 'sake' prices only to add fees which make the sale price the same as retail. the sales staff will even lie and state the only fees are tax and title. then they add set up and freight which was 1700 on a 2200 dollar motorcycle. I had a clutch R&R performed on my 2012 Vic XC Tour. It took Full Throttle an astounding 5 weeks from point of drop-off to completion of work. Upon inspection at home post-repair, I note clutch cable tighter than anticipated. (I hadn't ridden it extensively at that point since I trailered it home from their place). So I get digital calipers out and measure clutch lever, and then walked around and took a look down at the adjusting nut. Shockingly, the locking nut was left a full inch and a half down on threads, and the clutch cable way over (tight) per recommended service manual slack specs! Then I look further, and find the Kuryakyn adjustment rod chrome cover lodged inside the opposite side panel. I'm lucky it didn't work loose and fall off completely before I pulled it out of the trailer. I know this company is under new ownership, but service-related issues continue to exist. Customer calls are left on hold indefinitely, and, contrary to their word, they to not return calls or provide repair status updates. It's obvious they don't work on a FIFO basis. Nor do they QC check service tech work upon completion. I will travel up to Mount Pleasant or over to Grand Rapids for any subsequently needed repair work. The facilities I've contacted have Victory and CSC authorized bike mechanics, and service managers that have longevity. In all my interaction with Full Throttle since my wife's purchase of an '09 Piaggio MP3-500, I've never seen the same service management or staff there longer than one year tops. For me, that speaks volumes about inconsistent and inferior service, and a generalized acceptance of it at the customer's expense. Side note: virtually no member of FT staff wore a mask inside their facilities showroom or parts/service counter during the twenty minutes I was there. While that's not necessarily a deal breaker for me, the inferior quality of service for the hourly labor rate charged is. read more

I would have been much more understand if they stated these fees up front but they didn't. Poor service on their part. They told us that everyone charges them but that's not true. I wish I would have read the Yelp reviews before I wasted my time and gas trying to have my quad serviced here. Completely unprofessional. It sat there for 8 days and was never even touched. Had to call there myself or physically stop in to get "updates". Never received one call from them, even to tell me they received the wrong air filter and had to reorder, which I found out after stopping in. I finally just went and picked it up to take somewhere else. They didn't even ask why I was picking it up without any work having been done which leads me to believe they are used to it happening! I ride an old Suzuki, and had to get my tires changed recently. I called up Full Throttle and they said $40 for both, if I brought them in off bike. I thought that was one heck of a price, so I boogied on over. Upon getting there I was told, no, the price was $60. Well, the service writer shook his head at someone's (I'll assume not mine) incompetence and made it right. So I was charged the quoted $40. Also, they thought I might need a new wheel bearing, which I hadn't noticed, but it turned out I didn't, so they didn't charge me. I did notice that they have quite a list of rules about getting your bike serviced. Those under warrantee are given preference, then bikes under 10 years old, and anything older than that is basically "good luck." Although if you ride an old motorcycle you really should do the work yourself. read more

What a rip off scam of a place, spark plugs alone are more than 4x the price just on Amazon alone, they charge over 10 per plug, u can get all four online for 6-10 dollars. I bought a new UTV 2 years ago, its still under warranty, they wanted to charge $350 for an oil change for a jetski anyway. it takes 2 sec & u can do it yourself for less than less than $40. just buy your pump. I called over & over on things I want to know about my vehicles, troubleshooting, every time this guy Lucas tells me to come in. come in I cant help u.they are not worth 1/5th of their pay & same with their parts. if anyone has questions about your vehicles from full throttle, look online, because there are money scammers there like a den of thieves. read more

Today, I was told I was not a valued customer today. We took tires and rims to have them resealed we dropped off 3 days ago, and were told they would be able to complete them in the same day. We just went to pick them up today, and they were not done. The reason being: "You didn't buy them from us, so you are not a priority" I am not asking to be a "priority" I am asking you to complete a repair, and you should honestly answer how long it will take do not lie and say the same day. Or had we purchased these tires from you, it would have been done in the same day. If it was going to be 3 weeks, say 3 weeks. I don't think I am any more special than anyone else, but to be treated fairly. I would have purchased these parts and many others, except they don't stock them. In fact they don't stock a lot of stuff you would expect a Powersport store to have. I really don't think we were asking from much. Just to be honest about when a repair would be completed. Is it that hard? I purchased a Snowmobile 6 years ago, and have all the other toys, but the service department and parts lack in stock and we end up taking our toys elsewhere. Worst experience of my life, a 13 week nightmare!! Save yourself the hassle of getting bent over by the worst power sports dealership in Michigan! They don't care about you as a customer, they don't care about your time, they don't care about your satisfaction. After 11 weeks to do 7 hours of labor I have to take it back for 2 more weeks for a Air temp sensor that was not fixed and a oil change. Dave tells me that my bike does not have that feature. After telling him that over the past 2 years of riding the bike it does, I remember it working.... Slowly reading irregularly and finally not reading it all he tells me again I'm wrong and the bike doesn't have it LOL!! Forget this, I'm done... I pay for the repair but before I leave I notice something else, my turn signal light is broken and dangling from my license plate bracket.... I pointed it out to the writer and let him know it wasn't like that before, frustrated he asks me if I'm sure.... Good bye. I leave and take the bike home, once I get home I start going through my display settings because I noticed something wasn't right on the display. Turns out after being called a liar pretty much at Full Throttle by Dave the service writer they must not have been able to fix the problem and simply turned off the Air Temperature display in the settings and expected me not to notice. highly recommend that you do not go to full throttle, for sales or service. They clearly do not care about customer retention, or customer satisfaction. In the Lansing area they are the equivalent of Sundance Chevrolet to the power sports community and only survive because of their size but I can assure you that no matter how bad another shop may seem they are still better than Full Throttle. Believe what you have heard about this place, the bad things are true. I'll drive to Grand Rapids or Detroit before I let them work on another one of my vehicles, or buy one. read more

We purchased a 2018 1000 turbo RZR in July of 2019. Apparently they didn't have the manual for this unit and a drain plug was missing. So we are now on week 5 and still haven't received either of those. I have called the service manager 2 times a week to follow up on this and the excuse that I get is Polaris says they are both out of stock. So I decided on 8/6 to contact Polaris directly to verify this and just as I thought it is not true. Polaris has the drain plug in stock and all manuals are made to order, so they are always in stock! Wow, talk about a line of BS that I was being told. So what it amounts to is that Full Throttle doesn't want to pay $20 for a manual and $12 for a drain plug. Polaris has recommended TC Motors in Michigan Center for any future dealing, which by the way has many 5 star ratings. With the help of Polaris and Melanie and James, the sales manager, we may have the issues resolved read more

They try to jerk you around with dealer fees. They told me that my deposit to have the bike brought in from the warehouse was refundable, but when the deal fell through, they said it was a partial payment and not refundable. read more

Recently purchased a 2018 Rzr xp4 turbo dynamix edition from here and while there sales guy did an amazing job management sucks. Spend 30,000 on a UTV and they can't even order a windshield unless you pay for it up front. Windshield cost 1% of what I originally spent here. I will no longer shop at Full Throttle Motorsports. Stay Away from this dealer!! I know someone who purchase a thoroughly inspected used car from them and it ran less than two weeks before the engine gave up. Full Throttles response was "it's your problem now". Not what I consider to be someone that thoroughly inspected something and stands behind what they sold. If you choose to do business with Full Throttle Motor Sports do so at your own risk. I'm not normally one to leave review. We dropped our bike off to be serviced and was told 2 weeks. Not a big issue, until 2 weeks came and gone, multiple attempts on our end were made to get a status update and it took turning our tone to get an answer of what the diagnosis was. After going thru the parts that they wanted to repair (trying to charge us for parts that were just replaced and working perfectly), we identified what parts needed service, and what parts we would just buy on our own and repair. Again, no status updates were given except that they would call us back in 30 minutes with an answer. The bike is finally repaired and after looking at what parts we wanted to buy and what they charged us for came to almost a $200 difference, one reason being they charged us double for 1 item. Customer service is not their strong suite. While trying to take care of the refund, a manager comes up and starts discussing with another employee how her drawer was short money and was making our visit very awkward. Overall an unprofessional business transaction. If your looking for a place to service your ride make the extra drive and go somewhere else. read more

When I called Yamaha about the part, they said they had 1200 on hand and no backorders. After I told them, the part 'arrived the next day', but it still took wks. to get the bike back. read more

On Saturday April 11th 2014 my husband and I purchased a 2003 Ford Explorer from Full Throttle, fully loaded gorgeous and from everyone's understanding had no problems with it. After 2 days of ownership, the ABS light came on. There was a speed sensor that went bad (we can forgive that, every used vehicle is going to have minor complications after it has just left a dealer). 1 week after getting i...t back from getting the sensor fixed, I went to go pick up my license plate (from Full Throttle because they failed to communicate that they were not going to mail it, again can be forgiven) to my surprise it wouldn't start. After numerous attempts to fix things I put out a distress status on Facebook, luckily one of our friends was kind enough to take a look at it for us. 9 days later... we find out that the engine that we were told numerous times didn't have anything wrong with it...needed to be replaced. NOT EVEN 30 DAYS AFTER BUYING THE VEHICLE!!! Having faith that Full Throttle would be understanding, and not be greedy money hungry slime balls we contacted them, we were told "I won't do anything about it, it's your problem now". So now I ask you this, tell all your friends and family to NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM FULL THROTTLE MOTORSPORTS! They are not an honest business and will practically laugh in your face when you reach out to them with a problem with their merchandise not even 30 days later! If I can save just one more person from having to deal with being burned by a company that sells lemons, I would be happy! read more

STAY AWAY!!! DAMAGED EVERYTHING THEY TOUCHED!!! TOOK FOREVER!!! GUARANTEED TO MESS UP YOUR RIDE, BILL YOU FOR PARTS NOT INSTALLED. Went in for a carb cleaning and was talked into sealing the tank and a new pepcock assy. They had the bike for over 30DAYS, I called every week and heard every excuse. The tank was supper sloppy, the pepcock was billed as a NEW PART but after noticing it was INSTALLED WRONG and the gas lines had damage, I was told it was a rebuild kit (a grommet) Then there was the gas leaking from the tank where the valve was installed, and the stripped and stuck screws in the side panels. They billed me for a fuel filter and there WASN"T ONE installed. Shop fee's, they said they couldn't start the bike after it was serviced, charged for spark plugs that it didn't need. The list goes on. I got a refund on some of the petty things but got totally screwed by these guys. They must call labor ready and hire anyone with two arms to do their service. DO NO NOT GO HERE AT ANY COST!. They said to bring the bike back in and they would fix it but I wouldn't let them touch my leaf blower. Everything they touched was damaged. This is not written out of spite, they truly damaged everything they touched, and billed me for parts that weren't there. read more

This place is probably the worse place to go for service or to buy. I bought a brand new Kawasaki Ninja and had to take it in for service the first day I owned it which alright I understand shit happens and there are mistakes sometimes. They look at it the next day and tell me its all fixed except for one part they have to order from Kawasaki. They tell me hopefully the part will be here by Fri and I can get my bike back on Fri. I called them on Fri and they said the part never showed yet so I called Kawasaki myself and come to find out the ass holes at Full Throttle didnt even place an order until Thursday night for the part even though they had the bike Monday and knew they needed that part on Monday. If you are considering buying or servicing your bike here reconsider its a huge headache the service is absolute shit and the products are absolute shit. I have had better service from car dealerships than this place. They dont care about making it right because they dont give a shit about their customers once you signed your name they dont care about you anymore. And that crap of warranty gets the right over other bikes is bull shit mine didnt get priority at all this place just sucks ass. read more

another p.o.s. company!! i recently emailed them about info on a new bike. Four days later i called because i guess its too hard to return a potential customers call. i talked to eric( he is a salesman) that had the bike listed. i made them an OUT THE DOOR offer that was accepted on a new bike, after eric had to go talk to the wonderful finance guy ryan. for those who dont know OUT THE DOOR means i will give you this much and ride away. so i couldnt come till the next day and i know how scammers work so i called 3 more times and asked eric again this price OUT THE DOOR correct. everytime it was yup ive already talked to ryan and its waiting here for you to pick up. so the next day rolls around i call to tell them i have cash in hand and im on my way. eric wasnt there of course so i talked with ryan(you know the awesome finance guy). i said im on my way and asked again this price OUT THE DOOR correct? except this time i was told no, i needed to pay another almost thousand dollars. i said you have to be kidding me ive asked 4x now and all others was its waiting deal is done. obviously he didnt give a crap that i just took money off a credit card that i got stuck with the charges, cause all i got was dont know what to tell you. REALLY!!!!!!!!! they are just another company trying to scam people out of there last dollar and then when all agree they will try to scam you for more. you will never see my business or anyone i know ever! i recently was looking at a 06 street glide there was approved to get it trade in of my assembled soft tail with a appraisal of 8000 with less than 5000 miles on it.talked to salesmen which called him self the( golden child ) also known as( lt ) an told him i needed 6500 to 7000 for my bike because it has 110 cubic in motor brand new trans,tires,brand new 48 mm mukini carb an he agreed to it. so went down there with bike which then was told had to leave bike there for inspection over night. didn't want to but i did an me an salesmen inspected my bike before i left it nothing wrong at all with it (big f-iiing mistake). so next day on phone with them off an on all day trying to find out what the deal was promised call backs at least 6 times .then last time i called them was told they would only give me 2000 for a flawless bike an i laughed .. then get a call back little later the mechanic that did the appraisal on my bike brother wants to buy it. so tell me how that is good company policy..... its f-iiing not sounds like a scam to me .... so go to get my bike which is 1 1/2 hr drive for 3rd time get there to get bike an get my bike an look it over an find chunk taken out of drive belt , scratch on tank, an bracket for my mukini carb cracked . needless to say wasn't happy .asked to talked to manger (ron) if u call his ass that. was told by him i cant prove they did it .an after a few choice words all i got was he would have me removed from place ( this f-iiing place is a joke an nothing but scams an wont admit to their wrongs) and their mechanics must have gotten their degree out of a cracker jacks box .. so everyone out there beware of this place .... unless you like being screwed without lube ....... an i will make a comment about this place non stop till i get a call from owner and they fixed what they broke read more
