It's good for the area. That's not saying much. Have visited several times, and they're consistent at least. The pizza is greasy, and tends to be overcooked. The sandwiches and burgers are gut bombs. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with a good sandwich dripping grease (Italian Garbage Grinder), but these aren't them. Because they ARE better than most of the sit down places in the area, they are quite busy. Good for them, but means service is slow and you'll wait for simple things like a refill. Lots of comments about the salad bar. It's not much to talk about. Cheap iceberg lettuce and some spinach, not much in the way of toppings for salad. There are as many side dishes in the salad bar as there are toppings, so if you're looking for something other than salad, there are a decent number of choices. It's comparable to Wendy's salad bar. We ordered the Margherita pizza today, and asked for half without cheese. The half with cheese was absolutely covered, not what you would expect at all. The pizza was dry and hard, but not burnt, almost like a cracker. Rule number one of cooking a proper pizza, high temps for short periods of time (pizza ovens often go up to 700*). This was cooked at a lower temperature for too long, resulting in a dry, hard, and flat crust with no rise in it. Cheap ingredients combined with mediocre service. Your probably just as good with the McDonald's across the street, but if you absolutely need to sit down and eat something in the area, this is one of your better choices. read more

I finally was able to give this place another chance and I was very glad I did. We went for the pizza and salad bar buffet on a Friday and it was not only amazingly inexpensive, it was really, really good. It did not fit in my diet in any way imaginable, but I really didn't care. I just kept wanting more. The service this time was great, too. There was just one place in Scappoose that I always looked forward to eating at when I'm out that way, but now there are two. I hope our experiences in the future stay up at this level, because I want to keep going back. read more

There is not a lot of cool place to eat in the Columbia County. So, when Fultanos Pizza finally open, I was so excited. I tried their pizza and it was pretty good. I really like the dough and I am not even a big pizza fan. The modern look of the venue brings a little better atmosphere for Scappoose. Horrible service tonight. Asked for a delivery, 90 minutes later we call and they tell us that they thought it was for pickup. I heard my wife order and she definitely said delivery. They then tell us that it's heading right out. We live five minutes away. Thirty minutes later we call and the food is still sitting there. That's two hours wait. At this point we're so hungry it's not funny but have to cancel. Any food sitting under a hot light for an hour is going to be awful. We ate there at least twice a month but this was our last order. read more

The first pizza I had in 18 yrs!! So delicious! The only reason I rated them so low is because of their wait time, to get a gluten free pizza. I thought this was a good place to have lunch at, but once again I was sadly mistaken. I waited over ten minutes before someone decided to come over to my table. When she finally showed up she said that she did not see me sitting there. Her body language and her facial expression turned me off. I wanted to give this restaurant a chance, but I'm sick of their bad customer service. Fultanos really went above and beyond for me and I cannot say how much I appreciate them. I worked with an out of town crew for a few days and we ended up needing a meal for about 20 very last minute. We played a bit of phone tag (100 percent my fault), but they were able to figure it all out for us. They really showed their commitment for their customers, as they still continued to work with me despite a few of them having their shifts done for the day. They worked quickly and even managed to work with our crews dietary restrictions. The crew was happy with the meal and I am very appreciative of it. read more

I'll be really honest here.. The pizza is OKAY. But this is one if the only places in town that delivers, so on occasion I am willing to settle for it. Twice within the last few weeks I have called for delivery and both times the wait was over an hour.. Tonight they told me it would be at least an hour and a half, but if I wanted to come pick it up it would be ready in about 30 minutes.. This sounda like a MAJOR staffing issue to me. I can wait an hour and a half for them to deliver my pizza, when I only live 5 minutes away OR I can drive to them to pick it up in 1/3 the time. As one of the only places that delivers in Scappoose, I would think that you would want to capitalize on that. HIRE MORE DRIVERS. I decided to cancel my order and just make something at home. I'm sure I'm not the only one who decided to save my money, rather then wait an exorbitant amount of time for my mediocre pizza to be delivered. Step it up Fultanos. read more

The pizza is good, when and IF they get it right. Dining in is typically pretty good. We'll ONLY go when Amy or Jodi are working. I've held off for quite a few orders on reviewing them. This was it. $50 on 2 pizzas, an Everything minus mushrooms and a plain ol' pepperoni and olive. Easy! Not for Fultano's. The everything came loaded with mushrooms and the pepperoni and olive had burnt crust. I call and spoke to the manager Jordan, when she states she is oh so sorry and she will talk with her kitchen staff and give me a partial in house credit. A partial in house credit does me absolutely no good. We won't be back. This is the same ol' story we hear everytime we call to complain about every single order. This is my final order with them, I'll stick with Pizza Vendor. Something needs to change. Whether it be getting rid of delivery or better training! Reading a ticket isn't that hard. read more

I've heard the food was good by some and my mother loves it. I was really not a fan. The place was quite dirty with food all over the floor around the salad/pizza bar. I didnt purchase that as it looked dirty. I had the stuffed baked potato and it was truly awful. It was dry and gross. The sun dried tomatoes were sour and the chicken was dry. We really like Fultano's and have eaten here several times. There are not too many restaurants in the Scappoose/St Helens area to begin with, and for our tastes, even fewer with food we like. Fultano's has provided a much-needed addition to the dining options in the area. No, it's not perfect. It has had growing pains. But we do feel there is a sincere effort to provide good food and service. We don't expect fine dining when we come to a pizza restaurant or wait staff with airs; we expect decent food and friendly service and with a rare exception, that's what we get. First time here. We were seated and handed menus. The menus were filthy. Could have used a good wiping, considering we needed to use our hands to eat. We ordered 2 beers on tap, small pizza, salad bar and a cheeseburger. The beer wasn't every cold. The salad bar wasn't anything special ( kind of a mess and out of a few things). Very very disappointed in this establishment. Went for veterans day being a veteran my self. Waited for over an hour for food order which was a deep fry quick order. Service completely dropped the ball finally got a chance to ask our waitress where food was..... Told it got dropped and rush order was in .10 min later got food .......cold and hard .mind u with my 2 and 4 yo waiting for food!asked to see management. Waited another 5 mins was met by our original waitress and was told food was not going to be charged to us. This place is great! Their salad bar, French dips and unique pizza combinations are delicious, oh, and they'll fill up your growler while you wait to pick up your order. We walked in when it wasn't very busy and the sign said to seat yourself which we did. We sat there for 10 minutes while 3 different servers walked past us and didn't acknowledged we were there. We will never go there again. I was a server for years and you should always let people know you see them. We went to Pizza Vendor instead. Their pizza is better anyway. read more

But I tried there pizza and I have to admit it's pretty delicious and it's awesome because if you ask for extra Tomato sauce on your pizza they well actually do it... Do you like Digiorno's? Well this pizza is worse, but very similar, dough consistency and flavor wise. The crust is terribly bland, basically duck food. The (deep-dish) crust is huge and 3 inches wide, leaving a serious lack of toppings to crust ratio. The relatively few toppings (I ordered a "large" "combination") were quite bland as well. A seriously not good pizza. My girlfriend and I were both surprised at how bad it was. Papa Murphy's, while not all that great, is 10 times better. We ordered and picked it up to eat at home. First off I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone! This is the second time we have been to Fultano's and both times have been great. The first time was about a month ago with a party of 13, service was great, the waiter and manager were consistently checking to see if we needed anything and the food was excellent! This time, my wife and I planned an end of the season basketball for our daughter/birthday party for my son for tonight, unfortunately we didn't really think of reserving a room on a Wednesday night so this morning we called and reserved the fireplace room. When we arrived we found out that Toby (the owner) had called in an extra waitress to help cover the party. She was great, everyone was very impressed with her service. We had 32 people in the party and we still had great service.
