If customer service isn't your thing, just hire someone who is kind/ nice. If I owned a restaurant and didn't want to/ was bad at mopping the floors, I'd hire someone to do it for me. Original review: The pizza is fine and I'm a repeat customer but EVERY time I go in to pick up a pie the owner lady greets me with the most expressionless service and mutters something to the effect of "what do you want". She seems miserable and I genuinely think about it every time I think to order, and certainly think about it after I pick up. Hope they stay in business but if we had another option that was just as good but more pleasant - they'd be out of business in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't want to have my wedding reception here but it's a good place to stop for a brew. The food is surprisingly good although I wouldn't stray too far from the bar food standards... sandwiches, burgers, fish and chips. They have an extensive pizza menu although I've never tried one there. It's a club sandwich or a burger for me. They have a LoggerBurger that is not for children and you definitely won't be hungry once you're done, assuming you can even finish it. Wait staff experience has varied. No complaints on this go-around. They have a little outdoor patio which is where you'd want to head if it gets noisy inside (or if you don't care to eat and drink in a dark cave). I can see why Prius owners might not like this place much. I've been to better myself. But it's better than "ok" if you are a greasy Biker like me hence the four stars. I've never been here after dark but the place has the vibe where you might want to just sit there quietly lest some townie take offense at your presence and things could go sideways quickly. Or not. Just seems like the type of bar where you could find yourself in a fight without trying very hard. Full bar that caters to serious drinkers. In fact, it was one of the most memorable stories I've heard all year from a long-time local. You see, in its current form, Marzano's operates solely as a take away pizza place several evenings a week. But, years ago, this location included a dining room. Imagine, if you will, a foggy night on the coast, off season, and you bring your family to Marzano's and order a bottle of wine to share with your partner and some Garlic Cheese Bread for the table to nibble on while your pizza bakes. When the pizza arrives hot from the oven and your cheeks are rosy as you are surrounded by the aroma and witness the cheese still bubbling as the mighty pie is delivered to your table. Hot pizza on a cold night is a magical thing. I've been a regular customer for the past year and have settled on the Combo Traditional as my favorite pie. Three sizes available (10, 14, and 18 inches) and slices on the large pizza are significant, so I recommend you have them double cut. They have a prime location only a couple blocks from the beach, so parking can be a bit of a challenge in the summer, but they do have short term parking out front. Now, one last tip from a semi-local... they don't accept timed orders. So it is a bit of a learning process to figure out when to order starting at 4:00p, since the wait can be anywhere from 20 minutes to 2-1/2 hours based on the day of the week and a few other factors. But, it is one of our favorite dinners in town if we time it right. I just can't help but wish I got to experience the Marzano's dining room on one of those long ago foggy nights.
