It was a great tour! The tour of Hanauma bay went very smoothly and we had a good time. The snorkeling gears were nice and easy to use. I could give them almost five stars, but one thing they made us disappeared. It is the pickup location. We were staying at The Grand Islander Hotel and they set pickup location to Ilikai Hotel. According to the meeting instructions, it's 3min walking distance from our hotel. However it took 9 minutes. We were carrying towels and beach stuff and drinks. Anyway no way to get there within 3min. Then, after they picked us up at Ilikai, the next stop was The Grand Islander!!!! What?! That's where we stayed at!! We just simply couldn't understand why they set the location for pickup. read more

We did the Hanuama Bay Snorkeling. 12.50$ for pick up & drop off from Waikiki is great if you are not renting a car. The booking process was simple & when you call them they are very responsive. No complains there. The pick up arrived & drop offs were on time. But the only complain is, the rental equipment is too old & wasn't fogged. If you have your own snorkeling gear please carry it. We left our gear at the hotel which was a mistake. But for 12.50$ per person it's worth it. read more

I booked a bus island Oahu tour for 3 people on 2/2019 at a discounted price. We receive confirmation email with instruction of where to meet after payment. Duration: ~7 am - 5 pm Meeting location: usually across from hotel/resort if you stay in Waikiki. We stopped at mutilple places for restrooms, photo, lunch (Coral Kingdom) ranging from 15 min to 1 hour (Dole plantation). Our tour guide (James) is kind and knowledgable. We got to learn about different plants in Oahu. I think it is a decent experience for sightseeing, photos. Tips: -consider bring your own bottle as you spend a decent amount time on bus. There will be multiple stops for restroom and occasional places where you can buy drinks. - Consider bring cash for gratitude at the end of the trip. Our tour guide did not mentioned anything about it. I travelled mutiple bus tour trip in the past and it was something tour guide expected. read more

I booked the Hanauma Bay Snorkel Tour with Fun Hawaii Travel after finding the company online. I was a little worried when booking- $12.50 per person for a round trip shuttle AND snorkel equipment seemed too good to be true. I am glad to say that this company is the real deal and I would recommend this tour for anyone looking to do Oahu on a budget. Communicating with the company was very easy and information was provided very quickly after booking. I had to change our reservation a few times and they were quick to confirm the changes, which, due to being a very type-A planner, I loved. After reading some of the other reviews, I wondered if I went to the same place. My experience here was great! Moon was super cool and very helpful! I went there to book the Circle Island Tour and a tour of the USS Arizona Memorial. Their prices were less expensive than anyplace else that I could find. Moon asked some questions about my expectation for each trip. He proposed a couple of suggestions which ended up working better. Instead of the Circle Island Tour, he suggested that I rent a car. He handed me a map of Oahu and suggested a bunch of places to stop along the way. He also suggested a couple of places to stop and eat along the travel route. My family and I had an awesome time. Regarding the USS Arizona Memorial, he asked where we were staying on our visit. He suggested that we talk to the bell man at the hotel. The hotel had a shuttle that was less expensive than the tour he would have booked us on. He spent a lot of time talking to us. We booked the car through him. He spent a lot of time with us. He saved us a lot of money and he helped to make our vacation fun for my entire family. I would go back to him again in a minute. read more

This company handles Customer Service and Reservation Ticketing for Paradise Cove Luau. I made a mistake and did not add the hotel name from which I needed pickup service. When I called to inform them of my mistake and if I could add the transportation service over the phone, I got major attitude. The rep was curt, short, and annoyed. Surely, I am not the first and only person who has made this mistake? He couldn't help me over the phone. He abruptly said that he would email me further instructions, and quickly said goodbye. I had no opportunity to ask another question or to even thank him for his time... Hopefully this is not the customer service model they employ on a daily basis. read more

We had a great experience with their Grand Circle Tour and Pearl Harbor/Honolulu City Tie Tour both through Roberts Hawaii. The prices are extremely good. A few tips though: check which vendor you get and do some research. I initially booked the Hanauma Bay tour too, but upon realizing it was through Seabird (heaps of negative reviews on Tripadvisor) I cancelled with Fun Hawaii, no fuss. We ended up saving money by taking a regular bus and hiring equipment there which was no problems, except waiting for the bus which was 20 min late. I can say their Roberts Hawaii tours are great and amazing value. Do research on the vendor though. read more

No up-sell, honest, and extremely knowledgeable about all the local eats and treats-- What a gem! At the very last minute, I decided to rent a car and do road trip in and around the island. I stumbled into the shop without much of a clue as to what to expect (last minute over Memorial Day weekend). Online, the prices for a car rental were going northwards of $100 a day, but Moon was able to get car reservations at 1/3 of the cost! Moon also took the time to highlight and map out all the hotspots and viewpoints available throughout our road trip around Oahu. Got us there (0900 after transfer and stop to get pre-arranged life vests for kids) and back. If that's all you need, this is your company. Definitely a "no-frills" and random experience. You will take some random routes likely to avoid traffic or something. Drivers do not talk much and do not even keep radio on to ease the tension and nerves of this trip of twists and turns (yes, an adventure for sure). After getting to the Bay and long after driver left, my child noticed she was missing valve from snorkel that was in her brothers. Low and behold, we found same with an adult set. Based on the experience we endured getting there (which included 3 calls to Moon because van was late and driver did not have nor know anything about our arranged life vests) I felt like I would be blamed for the missing part and chose to say nothing at pick up. That's how shady they seemed. Later, I decided to email the owner my receipt for the snorkels (which included my name and date/time printed on receipt) that I had to rent so that our family could all enjoy the day. I was accused of fabricating my claim and not reimbursed for my troubles. You get what you pay for. We booked the Hanauma Bay snorkeling tour. It's a self guided tour just like any other travel services, but Fun Hawaii Travel was way cheaper! Like half the price. It was great, we had more than enough time to snorkel. One thing that bothered me was that my boyfriend lost his wallet and he wanted to call them to check if he dropped it in their van but they seem impatient about it but I guess I can't blame them for that. We enjoyed our Oahu circle island tour with Roberts. The prices are very good. Most companies that we researched charge around $35/hr. For an 8 hr. tour it gets very expensive and not worth it, especially considering the exchange rate from Canadian currency. Many of the sights were more of a drive by not a stop and explore. As an example, we stopped along the road to look up at the lookout on Diamond Head; however the itinerary shows a stop at the Diamond Head lookout. A little misleading, as you can't really appreciate the craters size when you can only see one outside wall. All in all it was a good tour, great tour guide (Jake), good food, comfortable bus and beautiful scenery. If you want to tour the island, booking through Fun Hawaii is the way to go! AWFUL!! Contacted this company by email on Sunday to book transport for 4 people to Hanauma Bay the next day. Yes this is short notice however we had only found out about this service on the Sunday. Tried to call several times on Sunday with no luck and left my number. Again tried calling several times on the Monday for a different pick up day. Emailed again and received one email response saying their was a day available which was not suitable. Tried to organise a different day with no further contact from this company. We booked a boat tour with this company to go out and swim with the turtles. They took our $$98 dollars, we had our own snorkel and gear. The boat went out of the harbor, traveled east toward Waikiki and then moored the boat to a buoy about 1500 feet from the beach. The crew said we could all enter the water gave everyone the all clear to enter the water. We were in first and there was no fish or other sea life. The crew threw a couple of cups of hard kitty food into the ocean and a few different kinds of fish did come out. However, no one saw any turtles and I think the crew knew that, even though they professed to know where the turtles swam. The trip was a waste of green bucks. Our voucher clearly states "Turtle Snorkel Cruise". If you don't guarantee turtles are seen, then don't mislead the customer! In spite of the owners response, I would be glad to produce the voucher for anyone interested in the real facts! read more

Moon was the name of the guy helping me with two of my bookings...one to Paradise Cove and the other to Hanauma Bay. He was friendly. The prices were less than the concierge. However, I accidentally left my camera on the last bus on the way home from Hanauma Bay. We were the last ones off the bus. NO ONE was left on that bus except of course the bus driver. And still, my camera went missing. I knew I left it there. I realized this after leaving the bus and called Moon right away. He said the bus drivers didn't see anything. I know for a fact that my camera was stolen. I was really disappointed. It put a downer on my vacation. We had to buy a new camera. I mean they could have kept the camera and at least just give me the mem card back. I had a lot of pics in there..no way of re-living the captured moments. The driver kept us in coversations about hawaii and honolulu in general. The only thing I wasnt pleased with was the snorkel. The fins were useful when snorkeling. They were provided free of charge. Forgot to pick us up! We had booked a 10:10am shuttle service to Hanauna Bay online but when we showed up to their office to pay, that time was sold out so we had to go with 8:10am shuttle service instead. After waiting outside our hotel until 8:40am we phoned the shady company to find out where our ride was. The man who answered said there was a mistake and that the driver had forgotten to stop at our hotel. He then said that there was room on the 10:10am pickup shuttle and that the driver would pick us up then. Strange! As that time was completely booked! The company refused to compensate us in anyway, except offering to give us a refund if we cancelled (easy 'out' for them...) About 10 minutes before we were supposed to be picked up for the second time, Moon (previous man on the phone) called again saying he was unable to accommodate the second agreed upon pick up because it is sold out. After exchanging a few unpleasantries, he said "f*** off, and shove it up my a**". I was quite taken aback. As someone who works in customer service, I would never in a million years speak to someone like that. Unacceptable. We went to collect our refund, at which time, Moon denied everything and was exceptionally rude to me and my family. Luckily we got our refund, but the company ate up hours of our day on New Years Eve, much less quality time to be spent on a beach. Highly UNrecommended. read more

I had to revise my order so many times (from 11 tickets to 13 and 15) and heard no complaints from Moon. I would use them again when I go back to Oahu. read more

We booked the Paradise Cove Luau through them several times. They provide transportation or drive out early to swim next door (bring a change of clothes). Affordable, usually a little less than posted price. Very crowded, wall to wall people in June. You'll want to upgrade as you'll get to the buffet first. Those on the lowest price luau eat last and the food is all picked through by the time you get to eat. If you come in November, a lot more elbow room and plenty of food at the buffet but shorter as gets darker way quicker If you're driving out to the Luau remember if during the week, allow 1 hr in traffic to arrive. Normally it's only 30-35 minutes from Honolulu. Fun Hawaii Travel was always responsive if we had questions. Usually could complete booking in 24 hours. Deducted a star as I called them this 3rd time to ask about swimming beforehand. It's right next door but I guess a separate entity apparently yet same parking lot. 2 employees of FHT denied knowing anything about it but my hotel concierge confirmed I wasn't crazy. I didn't appreciate the misinformation. read more
