I checked out this bar last week and the environment was fine it was a little early on may be two or three folks inside and the bartender will do so I proceeded to put money into the jukebox no one else was plane I like a certain older genre of music and apparently the bartender will did not like it and put about 20 songs in order to cancel my I didn't find this bartender in anyway hospitable friendly to new people in town I will not attend this bar again while in Vegas I would prefer to be at the garage where the bartenders are receptive and cordial and kind and allow new people to be and to listen to what they'd like to listen to read more

Small place and nothing fancy but very cheap drinks & friendly, prompt bartenders. They also do drink specials. The night we were there it was buy one get one free, and the one you buy was cheap & strong to begin with!! Very mixed crowd, but very friendly as well. read more

Of all the times I have been here, I can't believe I have not done a yelp review. This is a great little "local" hole in the wall gay bar with really cheap drinks! It is close enough to the strip, that if you were visiting and wanted to play with the locals this is a good place to start! Tip of the day....Wear machine washable clothes, because you will stink like a dirty ashtray after you leave. That is not an uncommon thing in Las vegas, no matter where you go. But this place is a bit smaller so it seems a bit smokier to me. I always have fun here! Sometimes with the gang I am with, sometimes strolling around and meeting new people. My favorite bar is all of Vegas. Laid back, STIFF drinks, hot bartenders, the sexiest pinball machine in the world and amazing specials. Avoid the fruit loop and the Sahara slum gayborhood. This is a great place to start the night and you'll end up staying. read more

Pigs on Broadway on Wednesdays with Kitty Litter is a blast lots of laughs, the Sin Sity Sisters occasionally swing by for fun its a great place to be on Sunday Funday.. just watch out for the mean girls lol... I haven't been to a bar in forever and I've gotta say it was nice to be back in one. We were coming back from the Grand Canyon and a little stop at Las Vegas was too good to pass up and this was one of the bars open. The service was great and the drinks were great. I was very impressed to see they were enforcing wearing masks. Yes a pain in the ass to pull it down for every sip but worth it to be able to sit in a bar and grab a drink. I can safely say when we visit Vegas from now on this will be a place to stop by and grab a drink. read more

This is my favorite bar in the city (mainly because Jason made me some of the best drinks!) This bar is great either way. Cheap drinks (and strong!), friendly staff, and good location just a mile off the strip. This is not a bar that you're gonna go to for special cocktails and speciality drinks. Found this place when staying at the embassy suites right across the way. It was so fun we went for the two night we were there. Will is an amazing bartender, who made me almost every drink I ever wanted to try. We had a conversation about what drinks I want and he made a willtai that I still tell my regular bartenders back at home... but it's not the same.. I'd highly recommend this place. The bartender refused to comp a drink while playing max bet on video poker. He said that most bars don't comp Bloody Mary because it's too hard to make. Bullshit! Yes they are difficult, but this is the only bar that won't comp them. I have the swing shift manager's card and Mike will be getting an email, along with the better business bureau, this is terrible service and for happy hour he gave us free drink cards that expired on 12/31/16, almost 3 months ago! read more

This place gets five stars. Why.....? It is not fancy....so this is my kind of Place. Staff is great, no BS, just lets have a good time. The prices OMG cheap. I work at The Hole in San Diego and we are pretty much the same type of place. Great staff and affordable prices. Other customers were fun to have drinks with and can I say the prices here are great. I love funhog. Good place to drink. Most the bartenders are really nice. However there's a bartender there named sebastian. He's racist. If your minority he will accuse you of stealing. He will greet you with a smile and talk bad about you behind your back. Iv know this guy for over a year so I know how he operates. If you go to this place stay clear of this guy. Pros - Astonishingly heavy pour for cheap, friendly bartenders. Cons - Location (unless you have a car) can be a little scary, heavy on the locals who seemed to stay close. Otherwise, the place is close to the Strip (I actually walked back to my hotel, which I would not do again, but it's doable) and does have a friendly relaxed air about it. I was there early on Halloween (10pm). The locals were getting it on. What struck me funny was that so many guys were in leather gear, harnesses, etc. and that was the "costume." Give it a try. I'm giving you five starts because I truly love this bar. The atmosphere is great, drinks are reasonable, and I genuinely have a great time when I go. HOWEVER, Sebastian is a total pompous tool, I cringe every time he starts to help me which thankfully isn't often as he seems to only want to assist the people he knows. He's got such a negative energy about him, you can see how little the regulars and staff think of him. Ditch the witch and this place would be amazing. read more

Found the Fun Hog through geocities.com and was intrigued. What a great hole in the wall, locals hang out. Ryan the bartender is super friendly and pours one kick ass cocktail. $2 at happy hour. Had so much fun that we returned later that night for show tunes and $1.50 long islands. If your looking for big attitude, pretty boys, go elsewhere. The dive-y-est place I have ever been to. The outside looks like a tiny, abandoned, dilapidated, craphole. The inside is very smokey, and the bathrooms are scary with little privacy. However, this place is great. Not pretentious at all, the bartenders are really nice, free cold water bottles, and the drinks are dirt cheap!!!! read more

Being from out of town I obviously didn't know anyone, however, the regulars seemed to be having a good time. The bartender was friendly and poured me a nice stiff drink. Your basic, friendly hole-in-the-wall gay bar, with good, cheap drinks. My friends call it "Cheers for Queers", and if you're a regular, everybody knows your name. A bit more macho than most; catering to the traditionally masculine guy, you see lots of blue collar types; but everyone is made welcome by the friendly bartenders. Came here with a local Vegas friend. Happened to be during a fundraising event. Great vibe, good crowd, and drinks were strong and relatively cheap. Would definitely return. I appreciated that there was good ventilation for a Vegas bar, which tend to be secondhand smoke exposure nightmares. read more
