All manner of ice cream cones and waffle cones and cups. We went on a Saturday night and I guess the crowd followed us. After we got in there was a line out the door! Their plain old fashioned ice cream sundae with hot fudge, caramel, nuts and whipped cream was great. Their shakes are awesome - we had the cookies and cream (they ran out of cookie dough ice cream) and it was nice and thick but not too thick. Finally we tried a cup of banana pudding with cookie crumbles sprinkled in. That ice cream was amazing - exactly like banana pudding but in an ice cream! Wow! Some of the flavors include: London Fog, Kryptonite, Ube Chai, Chocolate, Butter Pecan, Turtle, pomegranate Swirl, Iced Latte Da, Rainbow Sherbet, Ultimate Ore, Gumball, Cookie Dough, Vanilla, Strawberry Cheesecake and Rootbeer Float. In addition to ice cream treats they offer cakes, cookie sandwiches, shakes, sundaes (fundaes), floats, malts, and banana splits. The woman working the counter was very friendly and helpful. Like most ice cream shops, they offer free samples of all the ice cream to assist you in making such a huge decision. I got a cup of the Exhausted Parent (yes, that the name), which consisted of bourbon spiked expresso flavored ice cream. MMM, yes please. The littles got a chocolate sprinkled waffle cone bowl of birthday cake and cookies and cream. My ice cream was pretty good. The ice cream did not look very appealing in the freezer and did not look very fresh, but surprisingly tasted pretty good. I was pleasantly pleased. I really liked my treat and my littles said that they liked theirs as well. The ice cream treats can be a bit pricey. I spent over $25 for me and my two littles' treats. We went last night about 8:30 pm. Spent $21 for three dishes of ice cream. We got the same thing - 2 scoops in a cup. My kids were helped by a dark haired staff. Their ice cream had two full scoops and mounded out of the cups - this is ALWAYS how our ice cream has looked from here. We've been going for years, have ordered cakes, done parties there. The blonde boy that does mine scoops about 1/4 a cup of each flavor and hands me the cup - it is barely half full. I said, I wanted two full scoops, same as the kids. He shook his head yes and handed it to me. I was just sorta dumbfounded. Even the other employee just sorta looked confused. I was in Speedway to meet a friend and decided to check this place out. It was spacious and plenty of different types of flavors! I tried the Brownie Cascade on recommendation from the very nice worker behind the counter. I surprisingly...didn't like it. It wasn't creamy, the chocolate wasn't rich at all, and the caramel pieces tasted a bit off. The only redeeming part was the brownie pieces. All for a bit over $5 per scoop which I felt was pricey but then again ice cream prices probably have gone up in general since I last recalled. Overall, a bit disappointed but seeing all the 5-star reviews here, perhaps I just got a bad batch? Or just need to try a different flavor? Not sure. This place is great! I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally had the chance. Super cute inside - love that they have various board and card games. I opted for a chocolate dipped waffle cone and the chocolate chip/toffee ice cream. The cone was amazing but the ice cream is not my favorite. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just a personal preference. If my ice cream is being scooped I like it brick hard. This ice cream it's goopy and more like a custard. I believe the ice cream shop opened sometime this year 2021, going inside it smelled so delicious, and it felt like I gained a lot of weight just by smelling the delicious treats. Entering the ice cream shop on the left near the front counter is the full menu on what they offer. Which is cake pops, shakes, malts, different ice cream flavors, pints of ice cream, and different toppings. Etc. I ordered the regular size brownie cascade it's made with chocolate ice cream, and fudge. I ordered the brownie cascade as a shake along with hot caramel. OMG it was so very delicious especially if you're a chocolate lover like myself. My mom ordered a malt which consist of ultimate oreo, and lemon. I wanna say they have the same kind of ice cream as wyliepalooza which is where I would normally have driven((could be wrong)) I defn enjoy their variety of flavors they have. The environment of Fundae's was very calm, no seating on the inside of the location (I'm sure due to CoVID restrictions) but there are a few tables outside for folx to sit. My partner and I decided to take our scoops outside, and I will say, that the tables outside hasn't been wiped off. Normally that's not a worry for me, however with the current climate I am now more than ever aware of the cleanliness of the environment. Another patron offered a Lysol wipe to us for the table. My wife treated me to the newest addition to the Fundae's franchise which just opened in Speedway. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff was, encouraging us to sample any flavors of ice cream we had questions about. There were about two dozen flavors, a wide variety of flavored cones dipped in chocolates, and lots of toppings to add if you were inclined to do so. I'm probably not their target customer preferring a simple, but creamily delicious, cup of ice cream. I sampled a tasty lemon poppy seed flavor before settling on a divine Raspberry Rhapsody. Creamy cold smoothness with raspberry swirls and chocolate coated raspberries to offer a little texture. My wife went with the Caramel Chaos ice cream that was equally as creamy. The place was spotlessly clean and though we were not rushed, we were through the line quickly and enjoyed our ice cream in the small dining area. Parking was free along the street, but there is also a free parking garage nearby (for up to 3 hours). Once the word gets out, I can see this being a very popular spot this summer.
