For an extremely cost effective way to handle final expenses, we didn't feel like we were getting sub par service; far from it. My Father passed on a…read moreThursday evening and I spent all day on that Friday at the funeral home and the Nursing Home picking up his items. I got home about 9 pm and started looking for caskets. I made many calls and either I had to wait until Monday to call back or I had to leave a message. You see, I didn't have a lot of time: the Funeral Home needed the casket by Tuesday. I found one company who could have shipped the casket in one day; but, I had to pay the shipping from the airport. Finally, after 1:00 am I reached Express Caskets. I spoke with a live person and was pleased with their selection, costs and delivery time. To make things even better, I was able to save a few dollars by making my payment directly to their account. Also, they were able to not only deliver by Tuesday, they delivered earlier than promised. I was finalizing the arrangements and went downstairs to wait when I was advised that the casket arrived an hour ago. I went downstairs to watch it be unpacked and was blown away by the quality. The Funeral Director asked me how much I payed and said the casket was absolutely beautiful.
