The food here is always good. Service was slight above bad this time since so that's always an improvement. Love the egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and fried rice. The vegetables lo mein is so delicious. The general tso's chicken was decent too. Could've been crispier. Make sure to tell them to package each meal separately if you're not eating together with others. They packed my rice and my nephews's rice in the same box and we live 20 minutes away. The lady at the register didn't want to give me a more rice and argued with me but I got it still. This place is my favorite Chinese in the okc metros. It's not only nostalgic as I remember having dinner with my grandparents in the smoking section towards the rear of the restaurant with the lazy Susan table but the food has never changed. To this day I can't help but suggest egg rolls, Hawaiian chicken, sesame chicken and beef n broccoli. Enjoy this spot. read more

This is a take out restaurant only. Ever since the pandemic closed a bunch they never reopened for dine in. They have take out only. According to the website you cannot order online. You must call it in. Their food was good in a sit down venue but not sure on the take out. Hard to judge as it looses some on the trip home. We just were not in the take home mood. One of my FAVORITE Chinese restaurants in the OKC/del city area. They're consistent and the sesame chicken will hit the spot for any Chinese craving you're having. Also shoutout to the crab rangoon and wonton chips. All part of my usual order! The Hawaiian chicken used to be one of my favorite when you could dine in the restaurant. However, ever since they started doing takeout, the batter gets pretty soggy the way they package it and I no longer order it. This restaurant since 2020 is no longer dine in, only take out. Recommend calling ahead, but I've noticed sometimes they are hard to get a hold of especially during a lunch/dinner rush. So accept that you might have to wait a bit for your food but they are usually pretty quick 15-20 mins to get your food out after you order! read more

We decided that we'd have Chinese food for a change and since we've eaten at Manchurian Chinese Restaurant some years back and enjoyed the food, we'd go again. Imagine our surprise when we arrived, the door was locked. a person nearby said our order had to be put in thru a window-we couldn't go in and sit down for a meal. We ordered and by the time we arrived home the food was cold so it had to be heated in the microwave but even with heating the food taste was marginal. We won't go back, this is worse than buying Chinese food out of the freezer at a market. read more

Wow, this place is a step back in time. The building, the Mandarin sign out front, the red dimly-lit dining room, the huge portions of classic Chinese-American recipes -- all straight out of the 1970's. I didn't care for the food. Hawaiian Chicken wasn't terrible, but breast meat was grainy and slightly dry, like it was old after being fried, frozen, then reheated. And the sweet & sour sauce it was drenched in was just okay, not the life-changing experience others have said. Hot and Sour soup was much too thick, bordering gelatinous, and had an odd flavor strong of corn starch and some meaty stock, making it almost stew-like. Even our fried rice was dry. So it was a miss all around. I guess I need to try their "famous" egg rolls, possibly next time. Takeout only during Covid. read more

My heart is broken to leave this review, but it needs to be said. This place that my family has loved going to for years has gone down badly. I wish I had photos of all the items we had to throw away. My only saving grace on this place is the Egg rolls. Let me explain better here, I ordered and had it repeated to a T. Got it and brought it back excited to share a meal with my roommate. We opened the bag to three Hawaiian chicken (supposed to be two sesame and one Hawaiian), and a missing steamed rice. We called back to let them know, hopping that we could receive the correct order. After they admitted to the fault, they still wanted us to pay the difference of meals! I was shocked. We had to argue with them not to charge us for the meal that was supposed to be on our table. When we finally came to an agreement, they hung up on us, and you could hear the phone slam. I was able to receive the correct order, and I'm thankful for the guy up front who handles the cash transactions, he apologized more and made sure we got what we ordered. But there is no happy ending. We got home, took the first bite, and the chicken tasted like it's gone bad. Texture was even worse. The rice was bland and tasted dirty. If you enjoy Manderin or have your go to meal, make sure it doesn't change. Whatever they did with our food, made us no longer customers. read more

I have family that comes in from New Mexico once in a while and they always get a couple of dozen of their eggrolls to bring back home with them and freeze them bc they like them so much. read more

Food was sugar based and more Americanized than most Chinese inspired restaurants. The egg rolls were average but with more meat than cabbage which is why I believe most people liked them. I really liked the egg drop soup which was light and flavorful. The Hunan Chicken was too sweet and I didn't end up eating much of it. My husband had the Mongolian Beef which was also sweet and not savory or spicy. The best thing about this restaurant is the service. This is rare for Chinese Restaurants but they managed to keep the drinks filled and the food hot. The timing of the arrival of the meals were inconsistent. I struck GOLD! This is the BEST Chinese I've ever had. Their Hawaiian chicken, egg rolls, egg drop soup, lo mein...shall I go on? All of it is truly amazing. It's take-out only which is a bummer, and I can't seem to find any delivery services that "work" with this restaurant. If you read this review and know of one that does please let me know! You know it's the best when there's another Chinese restaurant right across the street and people would rather wait 30 minutes in line @ Mandarin than head over across the street (where the lot is completely empty). I have been a patron of Mandarins for 35 years. In my opinion, there is no better Chinese food available, anywhere. My favorites are Kung Po chicken, (#39 lunch), Special B ( you get a variety on this one, but I like the Hawaiian Chicken and Broccoli Beef. Not a huge fan of the garlic chicken that comes with it). The beef fried rice is excellent.I love it because it's not the typical yellow colored hard fried rice that is very common when it comes to Chinese restaurants.The fried rice here is fresh, it has fresh bean sprouts and onions and fresh meat and veggies. They have a great variety of food, and will take special requests when it comes to certain dishes. I could go on and on, but their food speaks for itself. How hard is it to make food that doesn't suck i tried a bite of everything and had to just toss it. I was joking about how bad the egg roll was because another review said it was the best!
