We spent an abnormal amount of time walking through this remarkably large store full of huge funko pop dolls representing all kinds of different popular tv shows and movies, sports stars, food mascots, you name it. Located a block from the Pantages Theater and the intersection of Hollywood and Vine, this is one of my favorite touristy spots in the heart of Hollywood. What's not to like? It's free, it has tons of photo opportunities, and there's pop culture everywhere! One of my favorite things was the kiosk where you could make a POP of yourself! Sure...you can do the same thing online; but why not get it when you're there? If you're a tourist and you're already in the area, then I'd say that it's a must see! If you're a local, then it's actually something that I think is worth checking out for some shameless pics. Did I mention that it's free? read more

I really like the Funko shop in Hollywood and didn't realize how close it was to the Pantages Theater. It's basically at the beginning of the Walk of Fame with the famous stars lining Hollywood Boulevard, and this place is like a mini-theme park/gallery exhibit with life-sized Funkos. There are different themes with notable sections like the Harry Potter section, Disney (e.g., Frozen, Toy Story), Marvel, Stranger Things, and more. So, there are a lot of cool photo opportunities. You can also even make your own Funko pop, which I definitely want to try next time. The one thing I will note is that some of the merchandize pricing isn't clear, we had to ask someone how much something was and I wish they had one of those price scanners. In any case, this is a great place if you love Funko characters or want to take a lot of cool pictures! read more

Huge collector of Funko Pops for a couple years now, whenever I go to Funko stores I gotta buy plenty! once moving out to SoCal I KNEW I had to make a trip to LA and the hour drive here was SO worth it! Spent a good 3-4 hours just looking through all the pops in my favorite genres & they have everything you could imagine here! Bought 300 dollars worth of pops (30+ in total) and the pricing here was NOT bad at all! 10, 12 and 15 bucks for pretty much every pop here and they have numerous clearance sections too. Even after spending a couple hours here I still wasn't able to get through whole store they have sport players, rappers, 80s classic films, Disney, Harry Potter, Cartoon Network, TMNT, Pokémon, hello kitty, Star Wars, Horror Films, DC, Marvel, you name.... They likely have a whole section for it!!! Will come back again! read more

my partner brought me here, and it is truly an experience! let me start off by saying they have a massive selection at great value. lots of the pops are regular price and the exclusives are just a bit more. i had an amazing experience here enjoying the massive displays and themed areas. i believe the marvel section is the largest and most exciting area in the store. i picked up a blind box and the team member at checkout was so excited with me to see what the mystery pop would be. great staff, i would come here again! read more

Great time at the Funko Shop. We inadvertently saw this place on our way to the Hollywood walk of fame and ended up parking across the street. Metered street parking available along Hollywood Blvd. and side streets. The store is organized into different collections: Marvel, Disney, Horror, Harry Potter, DC, Gaming, Sports, etc...lots to see. I love the large human-sized displays they have around the store. Tons of photo ops with your favorite characters. As expected, lots of Funko Pop figures and merch for purchase. There is also an area where you can create your OWN custom POP Figure ($30). All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Although I would consider this an absolute must for any Funko fan, most others will find something (or character) they can appreciate in the store. read more

This was a great, free, entertaining venue for the family. Well...free to get in, but we ended up buying a Funko for each of the kids - so kind of like $12/each to get in - parents are free There were some amazing scenes and photo ops. And so so many Funkos! I didn't realize they had Kool-Aid, Sesame Street, Sports stars, and of course all the normal characters! Everyone we met was super friendly too. They had security at the front and it looks like during busy times, there is a line to get in, but we were able to walk right in. Highly recommend if you're in the Hollywood area, even if you aren't a collector. read more

Their name says it all! This place is F U N!!!! It's a whole experience if you will. I only own one Funko and it's Blanche from the Golden Girls. We were in the area for theatre and had a little time to kill so we stepped inside. Wow! This place is soooo cool. We had a blast and I picked up a new Dolly Parton and a super cute shirt Robin Hood loungefly shirt that was deeply discounted. Highly recommend if you're a fan and or if you, like me just love a good time. Customer service is excellent. We wanted the Bobs Big Boy, but they were sold out so we'll scoop him up online. read more

We had such a fun time here. We went on a Friday around 12 and it wasn't packed at all, we walked right in! We walked around and then made our Pop figures, but I would switch the order next time, because you wait about 15 minutes for your Pop to be created. I added on 4 accessories to mine so it ended up being $48 for one Pop figure. Honestly? Worth it. I'd do it again. read more

Have you been to FunkoPop Hollywood? If you are a funko pop fan (or a pop culture junkie), this is a fun shop in Hollywood. Located on Hollywood Blvd about a mile east of the Chinese Theater, it's an opportunity to check out seasonal and popular merch. My daughter was looking for rare or unusual pops, but the store did not seem focused as much on those. She didn't find anything. But, there are lots of photo opps, including game of thrones, harry potter, and the NBA pops. Fun for younger fans. Also, they do have an area to "make your own" pops. I saw some reviews that there are long lines - the day we went (a non-holiday weekend) the line was short, and they told me it would take about 20 minutes total. We didn't end up doing it, but nice option for those who want the experience. Also, Amoeba music is just across the street, so something for everyone to engage with in that area. We found street parking, about $2.00 for the meter. Check it out! read more

Who knew? That in the heart of Hollywood this amazing store would outshine the walk of stars!? Entrance is free. But parking isn't. We got luck to find metered parking on a Saturday. Give yourself time and bring quarters! I know - I'm old school! The minute you walk in - it's like a museum of funko pops on Steroids!!!! So many fun picture spots around this store. Definitely worth the value! You don't even have to purchase anything -- it's worth the visit! Service is great! Everyone is so helpful. They have a custom station where you can customize your own funko pop! My son and his bestie made one that looked exactly like them! Of course my son put a gaming controller and cash $$ in his hands! Man...I wish there were more toy stores like this around when I was a kid. Seriously though, I don't know the specifics, but I think has licenses with every popular geeky/ pop culture brands under the sun, so there's almost something for everyone here. As a person who used to work in retail space, I have to note how amazing this space is. Feels so immersive with giant models of really popular IP everywhere and are designed so you have great photo ops in here. Since this is Funko store, you can rest assured that the prices aren't needlessly marked up. I'm not in tune with the brand/ store and I'm not sure if the highly limited /collectible items drop here and how often (like exclusives, etc.). There's also a station where you can make your own Funko characters so you can make one of yourself or of other people as a gift. Or even take people here to make their own. I think kids would be in heaven here. And so would big fans of Funko. This probably would be a fun to visit even if you aren't a huge fan with the free photo ops and all. read more

Always love coming to funko hollywood! It's such a fun place to just explore and find some great exclusives! Shout out to George who helped out my family this weekend! My oldest kiddo had so many questions about chases and the k pop demon hunters pop release, and George was so kind, patient, and friendly. Even gave my kids some free bitty pops on our way out! From Jurassic Park to Harry Potter to NBA players to Barbie and Disney and everything in between! They have their own little sections, too. Lots to look at and the prices seem fair. My message to them: bad value Your quality is 99% on point for regular pops. Me and my hubby have a good collection. BUT I ordered FUNKO yourself for our anniversary and it's garbage. The box had funk on it. It wasn't even properly sealed. The pops were not fixed in and jumbled around. The worst part is the glasses on mine are not on straight and will not move. 60 bucks and whoever did this didn't even try. Please let me know how you will fix this and why I had to spend time to complain on your higher dollar item?! The turn around time was crazy fast and that's looking like the problem. This was my first time going into the funko store! I really enjoyed it. It feels like entering a different world. There's a great selection in the store and all the employees are super kind. Funko is well worth the visit if you are in LA! Even if you don't end up buying any Funko pops, the displays are really fun to look at and the store is really large. We also enjoyed creating custom Funko pops which is definitely a novelty type experience. You can do the same thing online also. They're $30 which I think is reasonable for the customization and the staff make them pretty quickly. read more

I passed this place so many times as I dipped into one of my favorite restaurants near by and just never went in...cuz I'm not much into Funko stuff. But then sometime last year we were early for our dinner reservations and decided to kill some time and check it out and wow! WOW! I had no idea this place was so cool and it's HUGE! Like you can get lost in there huge. They have all these cool and elaborate area/nooks set up for each movie or cartoon they have merch for and also photo op areas in those areas/nooks pertaining to those movies/cartoons. Star Wars, Harry Potter, Friday the 13th, Frozen, Hocus Pocus, Rick and Morty and a whole heck of a lot more. It's insanely cool! They also have an area where you can create your own Funko character and pick out the skin color, eye color, hair, clothes, accessories, etc...what a great gift that would be for someone! In fact I went in last month and designed one for someone on my Christmas list and it came out so cool! I know they're going to love it! And I was surprised how inexpensive it was. Like ridiculously inexpensive. Love that for me and my budget. I definitely recommend checking this place out whether you're into Funko or not. Heck movie and cartoon lovers will love this place for sure. read more

On multiple occasions, I explicitly requested the cancellation of my order or the fulfillment of my request. Despite receiving my payment, I am dissatisfied with the current situation. You made a false statement that my claim would be addressed, which was not the case. I also sent an email yesterday, but it went unanswered. In response to an email from Funko Pop regarding the POP! Yourself x Stranger Things figurine, I discovered that the necessary accessories for the Stranger Things theme were missing from my order. I promptly initiated a cancellation request for Order Number: 29938253. However, when I contacted the virtual representative, I was informed that the cancellation was not possible, even though the order was placed relatively recently. As a result, they initiated cases (01332078 and 01332076) for me to request substitutions: the Stranger Things Box Set, Hellfire Club Notebook, and the Score Sheet. I am deeply disappointed that I was unable to simply cancel my order and reorder the desired items. I will never do business with your company because you falsely stated that these "claims" would be addressed. Furthermore, what can you do if you proceed to ship the order without considering the customer's complete satisfaction? This situation is beyond frustrating. Additionally, I am concerned that your company lacks a live customer service representative and relies solely on automated chatbots. read more

For some reason, I thought that the building would be like some kind of light beacon, blaring and announcing its existence. But it's very unassuming and if you weren't specifically looking for it, you might even miss it. I don't think there's free parking anywhere (I wish there was) but there is parking available underground and attached to the building (shared with other businesses) & with validation, I believe it's discounted--but I don't know for sure (we ended up paying $9.00 for 4 hours). If you're interested in creating and purchasing a customized Pop, you have to wait in line and get a reserved number because this option is extremely popular and limited in daily quantities (so I'm told). We were able to participate and are happy with the final product. This "store" is so much more than that--it is surprisingly huge with many, many photo opportunities. If you follow and are interested in blockbuster movies or even huge television hits, you'll most likely find something that may excite you. Make sure your camera is charged and ready to go. If you're a collector of Funko Pop, of course you'll most likely super enjoy yourself, but there's also other kinds of merchandise like purses, shirts etc...but the biggest draw are the Pops. I mean, you can buy Pops at other stores too, so really, it's about the customized Pop and the myriad of photo-ops that makes this location worth it. We had a good time. read more

I came here to pick up a Funko Pop for my daughter, I had passed by on Saturday and a line out the door with a doorman letting people in. I knew I definitely did not want to deal with that, so I decided to wait and come during the week and it's great, no line and hardly anyone is inside, great service and it's definitely worth coming into Hollywood. After you design and pay for your customized Funko Pop person, they will advise you to come pick it up at a specific time that same day. While you wait, you can shop around and check out the cool displays throughout the store.

Had I not kept documentation, my concern would have simply been denied. The most disappointing part was the pattern of poor communication, defensiveness, and failure to honor what was promised. After sharing my experience, several friends told me they had gone through similar issues, so this does not appear to be an isolated incident. We used to come here regularly for open play, but after this experience, neither my friends nor I have returned. The facility may be enjoyable for children, but based on customer service and event coordination alone, I would not recommend booking a party here.

I saw that the owner had said they clean all day every day but at least while I was there the only "cleaning" I saw done was picking up the ball pit balls and putting them back. No sweeping, no mopping, no wiping down anything. Just sitting at the desk. If I was you I'd opt for the west LA / Brentwood location. They not only have a crawler/new walker area, but their parking is free and they were clean!

I eventually chose a doctor play set as well as some items for my own children, such as animal figures and stamp markers. They offer free gift wrapping, which is a nice touch. The one alarming fact that stood out is that there were many empty storefronts on their block, so it's more important than ever to support our local economy. Their prices reflect investment in well made items, so I would not come here expecting big box store deals. I work next door to Funko Hollywood, part time. And prior to clocking in, or on my breaks, I would pop in (pun intended) from time to time and make decent and considerable collectible purchases in ten minute trips and lunches (a plethora of pops, customs, purses for my wife, etc.).. Point/blank, they have the most preposterous, discriminatory, and harassing dress code policy for local security guard guests/customers, get this ladies and gents, all security guards in their respective work uniforms must either cover up and/or hide their patches, and badges (if any included in uniform) prior to entering their store. Or if security doesn't notice at the entrance they will harass you as you are shopping and escort you out (as opposed to letting you reverse your shirt in the bathroom quickly since you're already inside lol). That is correct, you heard right. The first incident a guard stopped me on the public walk of fame sidewalk which is already a illegal violation as they are barking orders on a public tourist property (and there are no signs of this unethical policy anywhere in their business unit on Eastown)! Well to appease this gentleman that unprofessionally stopped me from entering with a "woah woah woah", instead of explaining their policy he triple woah-d me lol asking where I was going. I explained entering this shop to shop like I always do lol. He never told me clearly what the issue was so I just asked him if he had a problem with what I was wearing or what. So to appease him I took my badge off of as a courtesy and proceeded to explain that so people don't bug me and think I work there, that this is what I usually do regardless. The gent said "just checking and making sure". Lol! And I then explained that I've shopped before with them and no one has ever stopped me and even a manager personally rang me up at the register for an exchange transaction whilst I was wearing my work gear in question and this MOD never once said anything to me about the matter. To where he responded, "She isn't security." Yeah, whatever. I took my badge off and purchased a backpack and a special edition pop for my wife's upcoming birthday. But I was still pissed at the sheer unprofessionalism and disrespect from the guard at entry so I requested to speak to a manager and this low class belligerent uneducated manager doubled down on what her guard told me and how he treated me further upsetting me and provoking me to yeah of course SPEAK UP as a customer with over a hundred dollars in his bag (on a quick ten minute trip) that the policy and treatment is absolutely appalling and absurd. Even though she was aggressive and angry at me for some unexplained reason I maintained professionalism in explaining my discontent state and disagreement with their putrid service. Now we formidably fast forward to a few weeks later, and something more distasteful happens as I am escorted out for the first time (I've made other shopping trips since my wife's birthday in-between the first and this proceeding incident) cause a guard that respects me let me in and another inside sees me looking at something that I'm about to buy before approaching me belligerently and asking me if I have something to cover up and disrespectfully reprimanding me before forcing me out and radioing the matter. I told him to please leave me alone and not mistreat me at the moment as I just found out a friend and colleague had just passed away via my wife informing me prior to commencing my break a mere 6 minutes ago and thus to please-please leave me alone (all this as I was shaking and choking up as he is treating me this way, and not caring). Mind you instead of handling it this way even if I didn't tell him I just got bad news about a friend/hero of mine from my wife.. he simply could've offered/opted to walk me to the bathroom (that was same distance, or closer, than entrance/exit) so I turn my shirt inside out (this incompetent gent thought it was a patched shirt but it was ALL-printed lol) and thus all logos and stuff that reads security (and any other reading materials that hurt their fragile/intolerant egos) would've been covered and I could've continued shopping and easing my mind from the news I just got (was actually gonna buy something related to a profession my friend worked in as a tribute to my friend and to help me cope on my break). Further appalled and borderline having a panic attack but maintaining myself composed I asked to please speak to a manager. The jerk security that escorted me out and didn't care about the news I just got and why I was there.. now gets his security supervisor (assistant security supervisor) and he was more respectful and reserved but rude dude stayed and thus I asked him to please leave and let us talk. If you're traveling with kids, collectors, or adults who behave like kids when they see collectibles, this is a guaranteed hit. Even if you don't buy anything, the experience alone is worth the stop, I was amazed at how large this place was. You could really spend a couple hours here. Every section is a full‑blown cinematic universe. You don't browse here; you embark on a hero's journey. If you want your own personalized Funko be prepared to wait for 4 hours or more with no guarantee that after the 4 hours you will get the personalized funko! (This is not a joke the store employee told me this). Oh yeah, while you wait 4 hours you are not allowed in the store (they will check your rsvp # before allowing you inside) so be ready to spend 4 hours or more in the streets of Hollywood Blvd with your small children as you avoid the hordes of drug addicts, mentally ill, abode resistant and pot smokers that will smoke next to your kids as you look for a safe location to await your precious Funko. If you survive the four hours, once inside the understaffed employees of Funko Hollywood will take another hour or more to tell you how to customize your funko (only one employee helping with customization) and once you are done you have to wait two more hours for your Funko doll to be created and you have to wait outside to pick it up. It's not the crowds that create this chaos, it's the management and employees that are understaffed and clueless that will add to this horrible experience. You will be exhausted, and whatever you do DO NOT BRING SMALL CHILDREN TO THIS PLACE due to the 4 hour wait outside the store. Funko management and ownerships sucks! read more

Today was an epic day for expanding my Funko collection at the Funko shop in Hollywood, especially with a focus on characters from Marvel and the genius of Tim Burton. Being a huge Tim Burton fan, I couldn't resist adding Bitty Pop Funkos from "Nightmare Before Christmas" to my collection. These tiny figures are absolutely adorable and will be perfect additions to my Nightmare Before Christmas village for Halloween, adding a delightful layer of creepy fun to the entire experience. Next, I got a special Boba Fett Funko that immediately captured my attention. This one stands out because it includes a comic book inside, adding both nostalgic charm and value. It looks amazing alongside my already extensive Boba Fett collection. May Boba reign a thousand years in a galaxy far, far away! Finally, I acquired an incredible Groot Funko, featuring Groot wielding an ax and looking as fierce as ever. This figure truly does justice to one of the best characters of all time, making any Guardians of the Galaxy fan proud. I find it funny how the business owner responds to admirations about the business but was unable to address my concerns and my critique in my review. I have nothing against Funko and their products. I think they are amazing and they have amazing products that I have many of. I love their stuff but the way they conducted their business and left customers waiting in an hour line to get the door shut in their face 10 minutes before closing is very poor customer service not to mention still having to pay for the parking fee that they charge to not even get in. I wish I could get a response letting me know that they will be better about it in the future so I will be more willing to try and return without the fear of losing out on money for parking and being rejected from entering after waiting another hour in line. Not just for me but for others wanting to go because I do see it as a great place to go for a day with family and friends. read more

The Funko House was an awesome experience! If you're a fan of collectibles, pop culture, or just fun displays, this place is definitely worth visiting. It's really cool to see all the different figures and themed areas--they did a great job bringing everything together. Second delivery attempts made at 13:38 and 16:19 and another at 19:47 (on different days) but all were unsuccessful. Now the package will be returned to the Funko facility. Keep in mind that these are "special" Funko dolls were "made to order" to look like the receivers which were fully paid for. Is it possible for the delivery company (SpeedX) to leave a note (with a contact telephone number) with the receiver for pick up at their local facility? This way, the package can be picked up at a convenient time for the receiver? Is that not an available service from the delivery company? Time is being wasted when the package goes back to the Funko facility, crossing state lines. Now I'm afraid that the package will end up getting lost. Ugh! read more

Opens at 12pm but queue outside the store can start as early as 10-11am. Once the store opens you can enter another queue in the store to create your own POP figure and they will send you a msg on your phone, or give you a timing if you don't have a local number, to return to the customization area. The wait for that can take up to 1.5 hours to start the customization process and another maybe 20-30mins for them to build it. Great experience and most of the staff were quite friendly and helpful even though the store was quite busy. Also, you can customize your own POP. read more

I had such a great time at the Funko Store. If you're into pop culture, this place is definitely worth a visit. I was amazed by the huge selection of Funko Pops from movies, TV shows, and just about every fandom you can think of. I ended up spending way more time there than I planned, just checking out all the cool displays. The staff was super friendly and helpful, which made my visit even better. 6 hour wait to get personalized funko. A horrific experience especially if you have small children. Long wait is not due to COVID restrictions or crowds but incompetent ownership/management and understaff issues. You have to wait outside the store for at least 4 hours before they call your number so be ready to expose your children to the vast amounts of prostitutes and mentally Ill individuals and drug addicts on Hollywood Blvd. If you survive this ordeal you'll swear you'll never come back to this place, not worth it. read more

Had a great time. Designing my own pop was fun. Lots of pictures opportunities in front of your favorite characters. We spent 2 hours to see everything inside. I would recommend to get there 1-2 hours before they open and wait in line. They will validate parking for the lot in the back. read more

They have sales associate coming around asking if you need help and if there's a specific item you're looking for. Our child found the blind box series our child was looking for. We picked that up along with some stationary set and stickers. There are 2 check out counters and cashiers. The wait for payment wasn't too long, about 5 minutes. I was asked if I wanted a shopping bag by the cashier and I said yes because of all the merchandise we purchased for our child. Just be aware Neko Stop charges for a shopping bag doesn't matter how much you've spent.

But one tower of finger food for a table of 3 HUNGRY adults at $55 a person just ain't cutting it in this economy. Also, if your child is a picky eater they might not enjoy anything off the tray besides the fried macaroni balls and pastries, LOL. Fun for a one-time experience, but otherwise incredibly over-priced for what it is.
