Took the scenic drive out to this vineyard and was not disappointed. Beautiful setting. Enjoyed a wine tasting of their Pinot Noir selection. 4 different flights. Our host shared some background of the vineyard and each wine selection. We ordered a cheese and cracker platter as well. Setting here was very modern as there were many other patrons lounging and enjoying themselves on a Sunday afternoon. Hint: If you are an Alaskan Airlines member, you get a discount. They will also give you a special box and sticker that allows you to ship your wine home for free on Alaskan Air. Fair is fair and take the drive and enjoy some vintage wines, possibly stroll the vineyard and hangout in a modern lounge and see what you think. read more

Having been back to Furioso a few times now, I'm ready to reassess and say that this is a solidly 4 star experience. If you're really into pinot noir, you could easily say it's a 5 star stop on your wine tour. Even though I'm not crazy about that varietal, I still always have a wonderful time. They're newly back to serving indoors, and the views are epic. Honestly one of the best I've seen in the valley, right over the vineyards with rolling hills in the background. And the tasting room itself, is so luxe. It's a real treat. Also, the service and the education you get with your tasting is very impressive. I was there last weekend and was loving our server, who you can tell is a real wine geek and loved sharing his knowledge. Even though I probably only retained 10% of what he shared with me, that's still more wine knowledge than when I arrived, right? Went to Furioso a couple weeks ago and had the best time there with my friends. The property is gorgeous, very modern. We made reservations prior to our visit. When we got there we were greeted by Melanie, she also took care of us during our tasting. She was very sweet. If you go try to get a table by the big glass window, it has the best view. read more

This was one of our favorite stops on wine country trip! It was so small and charming. The winemaker was actually on site working when we were there. Not something you see at larger properties. Our wine educator was just awesome. He guided us through the tasting with lots of knowledge and passion for the wines. We started with the rose which blew both of us away. It's so unique and has the slightest bit of effervescence. The pinots were brought out together so we could really asses the difference in styles and find our favorite. My friend decided to join the club, and they really went above and beyond to customize her first case. I'd highly recommend visiting. read more

I can happily say I felt like the 5 wines we tasted -- all were enjoyable and represented a spectrum on my flavor palette. Only slight negative was a loud party seated at large table near us was too loud, but clearly having fun. No slight on Furioso, but slight detractor for us (only reason we didnt give 5 star) was quieter personalities -- most other seating areas seemed more sound insulating and would have been non-issue. read more

We came to visit The Furioso Vineyards based on a family friends recommendation. They offer spectacular views and the very reasonable priced wine tastings. A newer established vineyard among 300 in Dundee, the Furioso are posed to assuredly be standouts. I would also like to commend their staff. Our server/som had is passionate, articulate, engaged and well versed on the how wine is grown. I am not a "wineo" by any means by was very much drawn to his ability to story tell and specifically and accurately describe the aromas and tastes of the wines and recommended food pairings. I would strongly recommend this vineyard for a relaxed yet wonderful environment and this vineyard should appreciate their awesome server/som - Gregory E. Really made our visit enjoyable. My friend and I did not have an appointment, the staff greeted us warmly and got us seated immediately. Rayme was our "flight attendant". She is both knowledgeable and extremely fun to do a tasting with. My friend and I have very opposite tastes and Rayme customized our experience, so deciding what to buy was very easy. Loved everything about this winery! I have not heard much about this winery, so it was a nice surprise when we stopped on a sunny Saturday. Their views overlooking Dundee are beautiful. They are currently building their new winery/tasting room that should be opening soon. We will be back to see it when it opens, it looks amazing so far! Their wines are very good. Rose was just released and tastes yummy already! I like their Pinot's as well. A nice full bodied, juicy Pinot. We chatted with their wine maker Dominique for a bit. Such a nice guy and the girls working in the tasting room are very welcoming as well. This place is going to be busy busy busy when their new tasting room is open! read more

This winery does have a beautiful facility. When looking for something to do I came across their "Sunday Social" and reserved on Tock. For the Sunday Social, for approximately $45, you receive a pizza and a glass of wine listening to live music. What they don't tell you is you do not actually get a glass of wine, you only get a wine tasting pour- unless you are local I guess. Interesting how some people (probably locals) had twice the wine amount poured than others had. For mediocre pizza and a half glass of wine- there are better places in Willamette Valley. But then I guess that is why it was sparsely attended. read more

I'm a Napa Valley wine veteran (as in it's what I do for a living: wine) and there is wine and there are views. Views without great wine: shrug. That's for tourists. For cork dorks the wine's the Thing. Furioso has The view, the furniture, the mood, the music. I cannot wait to return just to buy a bottle and sit and stare out at all that. But Furioso also has Jim and Drew and Riley, cool, easy going, informative, hosts. Quite nice. Furioso, most significantly, has the wine. I sit now on this rainy night with a bottle of this sublime pinot noir in my home without a view, Furiouso's awesome hosts are off doing their real-life things and I am stuck here with Delicious in the glass. Delicious. Subtle. And I'm picky. Furioso. These are serious five stars. Earned. Nothing I like better than a bar set high and leaped over easily. These guys are doing it. read more

Discovered Furioso while dining at Paley's Place in NW Portland. I was really impressed with their Pinot Noir at Paley's. The bartender graciously hooked me up with a free tasting for two to be redeemed at Furioso. The first time we came here, my gf and I brought the dog and sat outside. We were promptly attended to and given a bowl of water for the dog. We tried their Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and loved both. I purchased a bottle of each. I can't remember if it was the La Linea or L'Altra. In hindsight, I which I had bought a case of the Chardonnay. Some of the best I've ever had and I found out on my second trip that it had quickly sold out. The second time coming here we sat inside and had an equally great experience. As others have said, amazing view! Our server was happy to take pictures of us and I saw him taking pics for another group as well. read more

After you've visited a few wineries you'll start to see a trend in tasting rooms in the way they look and feel. Eventually you'll end up at Domaine Serene and see what one of the most extravagant has to offer, but THEN you'll discover Furioso and see how beautiful modern-minimalism can be. As a new, smaller winery it has a short vertical as far as pinots go, but all are worth the trip. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they do offer light bites for purchase. Being such a short drive off the main drag in Newberg I definitely recommend adding this to this list the next time you're out wine tasting read more

Due to COVID-19, celebrating our dear friend's 40th had to be modified. As soon as wineries reopened, we started looking into wineries. Many are not allowing picnicking on-site during this time (even the wineries that used to allow picnicking pre-Coronavirus). Furioso allows members to picnic and limits groups to 10 so we booked this as one of the wineries for the 40th celebration. When we made our reservation, all weather apps showed a fantastic forecast for celebration day so we requested an outside table, particularly in light of many thoughts that being outside is less risky during these times than being inside. But, of course, because this is Oregon, that all changed. A storm was predicted for the day of. I frantically called Furioso because I now needed to be moved indoors and needed to know where we could picnic on site. Jim was incredibly patient with all my texts and gave me several options. I emailed and texted him endlessly and Jim responded to each communication. We were able to taste from 11:00-12:30 indoors and then we moved to a covered outdoor patio to eat lunch (picked up at Red Hills) and taste more wines before we had to move to our second stop. Furioso ensures safe physical distancing from the moment you arrive. Hand sanitizer is provided and masks are required. Jim was beyond helpful and is incredibly knowledgeable on the wines. Drew was also very kind. Thank you, Furioso, for helping us celebrate our dear friend in the most difficult times and with weather unknowns.
