It has a big enough space for a dance floor, a bar on a different floor so everyone isn't smooshed, and the best part is it creates such an intimate feel amongst your guests who are attending. Past that we later enjoyed a desert buffet and coffee bar. Staff was great and helpful. There's lots of parking, valet as well. Speaking of that, I didn't want to valet but they stopped my car and made me switch out. Apparently people were allowed to park but I got the guy that wouldn't allow it. Also located off the main strip. There is an Applebee's across the parking lot. Other restaurants, supermarket, strip malls w/in a 5 minute drive (or walk - if anyone even does that anymore!). They have a small work out room - 2 treadmills, elliptical, free weights. 2 computers in the lobby to use. Free USA Today newspaper. Excellent and free Wi-Fi. Way to drop the ball--i originally gave 2 stars for the Sales Manager who took ownership & immediately refunded my first two nights stay and delivered a hand written apology note. I'm currently staying at this Holiday Inn while my father is in hospice care, and although the property itself is new, clean, and nicely updated with decent amenities, my experience has been extremely disappointing. This hotel caters to large wedding parties, many of whom treat the building as a second party venue rather than a hotel. Despite being assigned to the "quiet floor" and being warned at check-in about potential noise, my first night included what felt like a full-blown frat party in the hallway. After a sleepless night, I suggested the hotel consider simple courtesy signage--similar to what some bars use--to remind guests to respect others as they return to their rooms. This is a reasonable, basic step, and it shouldn't fall on guests to propose it. An even more concerning issue was the front desk service. When I asked for matches to light a candle to say a prayer for my father, I fully expected a polite safety-related decline. Instead, the employee said, "100% no problem--promise you will burn this place to the ground." Whether meant as a joke or not, it was wildly inappropriate, unprofessional, and deeply unsettling given the circumstances. When I asked another staff member the following evening if I should expect another night like the first, the response was simply, "That's how people are these days." No reassurance, no ownership, and no sense of hospitality. Overall, the lack of guest control, poor handling of disruptive events, coupled with shockingly unprofessional staff interactions have made an already difficult time even harder. I hope management addresses these issues, because the property has potential--but right now, the guest experience falls far short of acceptable.

She was so wonderful accommodating my unannounced visit. She stopped what she was working on to show me the different spaces they had to offer and we discussed what I expected my party to look like. Their various party menu selections were vast and their price per person simply blew the others out of the water! I booked the party and Michelle helped me select linens, decide on the table and room layout and made suggestions to help make the event a success. I chose the Minebrook Buffet #2 where we received a vegetable crudités, a salad, 3 hot entrees, 2 sides, cake, soft drinks, coffee, tea and table linens all for 4 hours. The party was a huge success. All my guests commented on the delicious food (Prime Rib, Eggplant Rollatini and Chicken Franchase) and I took notice how the staff assigned to my event were attentive but not obtrusive. Even the cake was delicious! There was another party taking place in the other room at Minebrook and the staff made sure that my guests were not disturbed. Simply stated I received more food choice, a professional staff, delicious and abundant food for my guests and an event coordinator that made it so easy to throw a party! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
